    Twice baked potato

Wow! Great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food! We had dinner here last night which was a Friday. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated right away. The lobster bisque was so delicious! Rich and full of flavor. The meatballs were really scrumptious! Very tender and res the best I have had thus far. My husband had the Delmonico with onions and mushrooms. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and absolutely delicious. I had the scallops with cauliflower purée, roasted carrots and apple chutney. We also had the mashed potatoes for him and the twice baked potato for me. The wine was so good we ordered a bottle of the Riesling! We will definitely be back!

Had reservations for our Anniversary dinner tonight, service was great the waiter was attentive and helpful with selections, the steak was tender and delicious. The ambience is always great at this location. Always a favorite spot.

We celebrated Christmas with dinner at Delmonicos and it did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and made nice wine recommendations. They had a great wine selection and romantic ambience. The lobster bisque truly is to die for as is the béarnaise.

    Birthday and apology desserts!

Dined here last week for my birthday and they did a good job making me feel special! Our server, Erin, was excellent. She was really sweet and easy to chat with and offered to take our picture as a celebratory memento. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was well prepared. I realized later that they had forgotten the asparagus that was supposed to accompany it and they brought us an extra birthday dessert as an apology! Great service and tasty food...the mocktails especially blew us away. They were so unique and delicious! The restaurant is pricey, but you get what you pay for. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Delmonico's!

Service was fast even though they're always busy. Drinks are always good and the food is always consistently good. I love the oysters or any of the seafood towers. I always get a ribeye or filet, this time I got the surf and turf and it was 10/10. Will be returning always.

Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more. I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there. Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. On my own dime with a date, I would have been far more brutal in the review.

The outside is dated, sure, but step inside and it's immediately clear this place has been doing things right for a reason. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were the right call; rich, well-stuffed, and a strong opening act. The French onion soup, while flavorful, ran a little salty for our taste, so consider yourself warned if that's your go-to dish. The salad was fresh and came out crisp, clean, no complaints. On the steak front, the ribeye and porterhouse are the real stars here. Both were cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and reminded us why we came to a steakhouse in the first place. The food is the draw, and at these prices, the value-to-quality ratio is hard to beat anywhere in the area. And then there's Marissa. Her service alone is worth the trip; attentive, warm, and the kind of server who makes a good meal feel like a great experience. Ask for her section. We'll be back.

The first course was complimentary breads with olive tapenade. The breads were so rustic and delicious. The olive tapenade was a great dipping sauce. For appetizer, I got fried calamari. It was a modern Italian twist. The fried calamari was so tender. It had light breading. It was fried together with olives, sun dried tomatoes, sliced shiitake mushrooms and some basils. It was so good that I kept eating it. For entrees, I got the bone-in CAB ribeye. It was cooked medium rare. The steak was juicy, tender and had a little bite to it. The asparagus was great in the dish. However, I was not too keen on crispy potatoes with Gorgonzola cheese. The cheese kinda made the potatoes a bit salty. I didn't enjoyed it at all. The beef short rib was another entree I tried as well. It was tender but the flavor was not deep and complex. Overall, the restaurant did a good job with the food. I would come back if I am ever in the area.

I don't drink anymore, so seeing a non alcoholic drink section was nice to see. I was made aware that the base of the Aplos was very herbal and tart. The first one brought to me was very tart. Very, very tart. I was not a fan, my dad was going to drink it, our waitress: Deja noticed and offered to have it remade. I accepted, the bartender came out to drop it off and explained how she changed it up. She stood by me and waited until I tried it. A bit much, it was better. The tartness was only at the end for a brief moment. They didn't have a specific gluten free menu, but Deja did tell us what was naturally gluten free and/or could be modified. A lot of the food is made in house. A lot of it looked appealing, but they had gluten free noodles that were not made in house. So I went with a trusted filet mignon cooked medium. The demi glace was an excellent touch. The potatoes were pretty good. The broccolini wasn't what I was hoping for. My parents dishes were much larger. Leftovers were had and enjoyed on a second day. I would maybe try the short ribs next time we would go. The building is very rustic and decorative. The bathroom is upstairs; an elevator is present is needed. A very interesting place. Staff and kitchen very accommodating. The prices are high for the amount you're given. Would love some in house pasta that is gluten free with an in house sauce. I was there primarily for the company. Not my favorite spot. I would be willing to go again.

This evening, the host kept greeting everyone with "I'm ready to get out of here." Every guest in front of me. Unheard of and unprofessional. Who wants to start what should be a great dinning experience with a greeting like that? Despite that, he at least "All Sad Face" guided us to our table and seated us. It was at least 10 minutes later when our waitress greeted us, without a smile. She did present a kind and warm greeting and informed us that the menu was updated with new dishes. We placed our drink order and it was another 10 minutes until she returned with those. We placed our food order with requested accommodations, and she advised his she was leaving the table to go enter our order. 15 minutes later she brought the cheese fries I ordered to the table. They were good, just not pipping hot. 15 minutes after this, she returned to the table to let myself and a fellow dining companion know they were out of the quesadilla bread and will not be able to customize them because they are pre-made. If they are pre-made how is there no bread? And why are we just being told this 30 minutes after we placed the order? She said the manager that could help us with refunds or other compensation is not at work today and would have to return later or the next day. Only one of the "other managers" were present but likely could not do anything about refunds. At this point NOT A SINGLE DRINK was refilled since we started ordering! We asked to speak to the other managers. 5 minutes passed this I get my steak quesadilla. Again, tasted great, but was not piping hot. One of my fellow dining companions wanted to cancel his order at this point. They brought the spinach dip he order right then. Still no drink refills. 15 minutes later someone that said they were a manager came to the table just as my other dining companion's steak was being brought to the table. The waitress had super long finger nails that touched the food as the "manager" took it from her and placed it on the table in front of him. She greeted us with an attitude that said to us "I do not care". We all just looked at the stake and then at her in disbelief. We stopped our friend from touching the steak and told the manager this is not acceptable for food to be handled like this and we refused the steak. We asked for a refund. She kept signing and huffing rudely giving us all kinds of excuses other than "Let me help you with that". For a "manager", this is one of the most unprofessional experiences and attitudes I have ever seen. She later returned to give us gift cards, but she continued to have a poor attitude.
