A couple of us ordered the original slam because the sign in the window showed they were 6.00. The bill came and we were charged 7.00 each. When we questioned the waitress we were told it was an old sign that hasn't been taken down yet. Shouldn't be my problem. Our 2nd visit to a Denny's since moving to AZ. The first visit was a disaster- see my review of the one in Kingman on Andy Devine Blvd. We were glad we had forgotten that Kingman visit and tried them again in Chandler. Victoria was our server and she was delightful. She was very knowledgeable and checked on us on a regular basis. The food was good and served hot. I had the pot roast dinner and my wife had a create your own sampler plate. We will return to this location. read more

Extremely disappointed with this locations customer service. My family and I placed an order online for breakfast. Because I had lost my credit card, I was unable to pay for the order and had to go into the business to place and pay for the order. Chris, the cashier, took my order as I read it off from what I had built online item for item. Once finished, he provide me with a total that was greater than what it would have been had I paid online. I showed him my online order and the prices and he then said that inside the prices showed differently and that there was nothing he could do. Instead of charging the price that I would have paid had I ordered online, which was displayed on my phone, he felt it better to let me leave and go to IHOP for breakfast. The food was good. We ordered a appetizer and it did come out first, thats always important! My issue was the horrible server we had. A young girl, like 20, maybe younger fresh out of high school. She dropped off the drinks and turned around, we said we were ready to order and I could see her rolling her eyes then trying to smile. She was not a very good ordered taker, made us repeat our orders as if she wasn't listening. Had a look on her face like she didn't want to be there or help us. She did get us refills without us asking and we thought maybe she was getting better! Nope. She asked if we wanted boxes. I sad yes. She brought one only for me not my friend? Been waiting like 10 minutes so far and no server has helped me. Not sure what the deal is. They also stuck me in the back-like wayyyy... in the back. Not cool after driving like seven hours straight from NM. Not exactly busy either. Finally, got to order after about 15 minutes. When I got my food I found 1/2 a toothpick wedged in part of mu club sandwich (four full toothpicks were stuck in the four pieces of the sandwich which is normal). Server didn't seemed too concerned with that when I showed her so I have no idea if she addressed it with the cooks. I went to this Dennys location for the first today, and had the warmest, friendliest experience. I was greeted, seated, and ordered within minutes! I sat at the bar, which I didnt mind doing at all. My server was so attentive. The staff here is good looking too. the guys that work here make eating here half the fun. Cute, cute cute! For a good Dennys experience, this location is a must do. I understand being busy... but two waitresses with only 5 tables total, ignoring one couple waiting to be seated for well over 10 minutes is ridiculous! Just left without getting our orders. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Then our little waitress had an attitude. But I let it go. Until we asked for coffee creamer twice and then she just threw a handful of them on our table. Sorry for asking you to do your job! This used to be our favorite Denny's now we won't be back. Was browsing around on door dash looking for something different for "brunch".... I saw the New southwestern benny breakfast and had to order it! I added avocado to it but let me tell you, it definitely did not disappoint! It was so flavorful, perfect spice from the chorizo! The English muffin was soft and easy to cut into, whereas most placed toast the muffin so much its hard to cut into with everything on it. I paired it with the hashbrowns with everything on them(gravy, onions, cheese).....ah-mazing! Im really hoping they keep this one around. Sorry for no pic....I devoured it so quick! Me and family went to Denny's for some comfort food but we did not get close to comfort. Matter of fact we did not even get food what so ever. The lady named Eva with the mole on her face that was in charge gave us so much attitude and she was racist towards us and started yelling at us for not being patient when she keeps insisting that we have only been there for 30min when we have been there for 2 hours with no food. We were okay and patient but overtime we ask if the food was done they would say I don't know just wait and find out. She made my cousin who just graduated cry due to her asking for the bill just to pay for the soda. Overall the experience here was very horrible indeed and the staffs here make you feel insecure about your self. At times I felt as if she was going to stand up and slaps us across the face just because we wanted our food. We placed our food before the other tables but due to the staff having friends there who is the customer they just brought their food out first when we ordered first. If you want a restaurant who hires unprofessional, uncivilized, and down right rude employees then this place is for you. Not only did I wait 50 min for my food, when I got it, I live 5 minutes away, it was barely lukewarm. 2 meals took almost an hour, and were not even warm when I got them home! What horrible service. We were here an hour ago for my cousin's graduation supper. It was very disappointed and unprofessional service, along with staff's attitude. The girl in the front, who told us that she was in charge and refuse to let us to talk to the manager about the service, she didn't know what was going on and how to manage the staffs at all. We got seated and waited for an hour on our order, but every time we asked they said they don't know and will check for us but never come back. The staffs actually ignored us when we asked them about our order. I waved at the sever and said excuse me to get her attention, she did hear us, looked at us, but then ignored and walked away! DON'T EAT AT THIS DENNY'S I came here a few times this last month during morning hours. The crowd was minimal, and staff was quick however the place was dirty. I also found a thick curly black hair in my scramble. I had to spit it out and it ruined my appetite. I told the waitress she said she was sorry. Just stopped in to have breakfest while my car stereo was being worked on. Sat down at the bar and was greeted ever so kindly, drink order was immediately given to me. The star of the show was the head cook in the kitchen, he had orders coming out of there one after another and if special orders weren't caught he fixed them right away. I have never been a huge fan of any Denny's but this brekfest was absolutely spot on. I had the country fried steak breakfast skillet and I would have put that up against any breakfest. All Denny's locations should model themselves after this one. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. read more

I have to agree with another reviewer, you think it's only Denny's! Well I have to say that for a Denny's this one has their stuff together for the most part. Food is good, consistent. Staff is friendly, accomodating, makes suggestions and is right on top of keeping your coffee cup filled. I have been in on a couple of occasions and night staff is equally as friendly and even customized a few request for me. Only suggestion I have is that they do need to get the stool over by the breakfast area replaced sometime soon. This has been broken for over a yr without replacement so you can only seat three at the breakfast nook. either replace it or get rid of breakfast nook all together and put in some tables. Denny's is Denny's, right? You expect a certain level for the money you're spending and the convenience of 24 hours. Except, for my $10, I got a hamburger that was by far the best I've had in any Denny's and better than some restaurants that brag about theirs (Red Robin? Chili's? Habit?). I asked how I would like it and I chose medium, not expecting I truly had a choice. It was perfectly medium. It was also gigantic with loads of toppings (I got the avocado bacon cheeseburger) but still put together so that it stayed together and could be eaten in the hands. It was late (11PM) so the waitress and hostess were one and the same. When I hesitated on the two side choices (fries or seasoned fries) she was quick to make another suggestion that turned out to be great. She managed to take care of the cash register and serve the dozen or so seated tables, and still visit my table more often than what was necessary to keep my coffee and water filled. She saw when I was coming to the end of the meal, and had the check on the table with the customary "Don't rush" and "I can add to it if you would like something else". Maybe during the day it turns into what we've all come to expect in Denny's, but the late-night crew was really on the ball tonight. read more
