It is a typical, nice and cozy, Denny's restaurant. This one is located in Claremont, near Claremont Promenade area, on the Indian Hill Boulevard. I used to visit this Denny's a lot, when I was living in Claremont. The meals were usually delicious, and cooked perfectly. The prices for the meals were quite fair. Furthermore, the place was clean, and there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy the meal. Definitely, I would recommend a visit to this Denny's. The waiter service was not good was. severed my coffe and no condiments were give .I asked 2 diffe servers and was asked to wait ,I continued to wait another 10 min and they never came back. When one finally came back I asked for Half and half for my coffee. Told they were out so I asked for a bit of regular milk they were ok with it .after about 5 min they came back with half and half. After about 40 min our food was served but they forgot my daughters food she had to wait another 15 min to get her food . Over all terrible service. This is my local Denny's and I go a few times a month. Sometimes more when I have a lot of studying to do. They are great about me studying there for a few hours or so. They even were great about study group sessions I had there and were very kind. However, this all depends on who is working there at the time because it can get bad as far as no one checking on you or bringing your food within a reasonable time frame. BEAUTIFUL RED LONG HAIR MANAGER KATHY IS AMAZING! * Wow's me every time. She is really nice to customers and her staff. She is always there when anyone needs help. Whenever Kathy works, the store is cleaner and much more organized! She is very professional and makes all guests feel comfortable and secure. The daytime general manager Steve doesnt do anything special for anyone. He favorites his guests and employees. He leaves the store not stocked and let's employees eat for free. He is threatening to others and using his "manager" power against people including beautiful kathy. When the skinny blonde crazy girl works, she is constantly gossips and also favorites people and is always harassing me and picking on me including making me cry, she learned that from the g.m. I'm sure. Kathy is the only manager that actually does what needs to be done as a manager. She MANAGES! Honestly, she does is very very well. I only come here for her. I dont ever want her to leave. Today in the morning I was hungry and ordered "steak and eggs with pancakes" via door dash. I was super excited when it was delivered. I opened the bag and missing my pancakes. Ok so I'm like ok let me just eat my potatoes and eggs. There's probably just about 10 pieces of tiny potatoes I still ate them because of the hunger and the eggs. I called the place and spoke to the manager forgot her name and she said she's in the middle of inventory and that she will reimburse my pancakes because it was missing, gave her the order number, and will call me back. Never got the call back nor the reimbursement. In short, I gave my steak to my furbabies and ordered breakfast at Connal's diner which I enjoyed very much. If I could give no stars I would. Super upset, ordered food through Uber eats app and my bill was almost $50. I ordered a skillet, French toast slam and a country fried steak. The skillet was wrong the eggs should've been scrambled and instead they were super undercooked eggs as seen in picture below... the Country fried steak was still semi frozen or cold if you will inside when I cut it open. When I complained on the app it said somebody will get back to me and then I called the restaurant and requested to speak with a manager, first off the manager did not say his name just said that he was sorry but didn't seem sincere did not offer to remake the order or any other solution. You order for delivery for the convenience, But if your food is not going to be cooked properly what is the point of spending all of this money on food that you have to throw away? I or my child and anybody else Who would've ate this food could get severely sick from eating undercooked food. Thank goodness I checked the food! My husband and I stopped in about 4pm. First thing we noticed dirty table, as we are walking in. The place is empty, except three young people sitting at a bar area. No Mask on. The manager is at register..we stand there a minute, then she asked a question, but so low had to ask her to repeat 3-4 times. She was telling us, someone would be here to seat us. While she slowly walks away. Finally after, at least 5 minutes,we are told by a waitress, we can seat ourselves outside. Not quite sure why THE MANAGER, couldn't have done the same?! We order, and then we are told she was suppose to be off already, next shift waitress was late. So as we are sitting, we see the three young people who were allowed to sit inside, with no mask, walking out and leaving with the waitress. Her family, no doubt.! So now, next shift waitress, is walking to seat a family of about 5 people. I turn to this waitress and offer our table, larger, if she would clean off the still dirty table, by the door. She says, Oh I don't bus tables. Finally, we get our food, never once, does she come out to ask if we need anything or refills. While we waited a transient wandered in from the hotel and actively accosted people who were seated IN the restaurant, management did nothing despite customers being very uncomfortable. Saturday's seem to be somewhat busy the wait was 10-15 mins which is normal for us. I'm sure we were seated before the 15 minutes. We were finally seated and we had to wait an extra 5-7 minutes for our waiter what seems forever. If my fiancé did ask the bus boy we'd probably wait an extra 5. Anyways we've been to this Dennys before service is usually not bad. Our server was Yos (not sure how to spell his name) but he was nice and checked up on us.
