Denny's isn't really my go-to spot but recently went to the Colton location due to a nearby work event. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of attentive service I got from Elidia. It's rare to be served by someone who genuinely wants you to have a good experience. Her natural caring nature was undeniable. The service here was the worst ive ever had at a dennys the waitress was rude upon arrival and had an attitude through the whole time never have i had to refill my own cup of coffee the dirty plate were not removed alot of tables where the same with the dirty plate even after ppl left would not recomend it to anybody read more

This is the first time I have been to this Denny's and I will never be back. It does not seem to be that busy but I have already had to request a come 3 times and when I finally decided to get up and get it they still didn't hand it to me I had to wait for it to be brought to me. Then we asked the manager for coffee and mayo and he took it to another table. I'm not sure if they are overwhelmed or just have really bad service but I'm not willing to visit again and find out. My friends chicken wings were raw. The nachos tasted stale. My toast was basically bread without being put in the toaster and my country fried steak had no flavor. Loves the service and food. Took my Dad for breakfast on a Sunday and even though it was a full house all the staff was doing their best to greet and welcome everyone. Special thanks to Emilio for being out waitress and even as busy as he was he really took care of us in good spirits! Now the food...I ordered a veggie omelet and it was very delicious. My Dad ordered a lumberjack or whatever they are called...same thing he said it was delicious. Mind you my father is a very picky eater. Overall we loved the food and service. Five stars to the best server in town John! This gentleman deserves a raise for running a late night shift alone! Especially after his manager walked out on him when she saw the place getting full! What kind of manager does that?! The restaurant began to get full as I was eating a late night dinner and John stepped up to the plate and was running the entire place by himself as well as the cook. Both the cook and John were left by the manager who clearly displayed lack of professionalism and teamwork. Right when we walked in we noticed she was not very welcoming as she her physical demeanor displayed her bad mood. We clearly saw her leave. It's not like she didn't know that they're busy when they had about 15 people waiting to be sat. Despite the managers inappropriate behavior, John was awesome! He displayed a positive attitude despite being by himself. He politely greeted the customer upon arrival. He was also provided awesome customer service to us! Needless to say John deserves his managers spot! That's a true leader! Lastly, I've came in on other occasions in the morning and the staff are awesome & welcoming! Facility is clean as well! I came in for a grub hub delivery. They didnt have my order and the lady in a floral shirt was nothing but hasty attitude when I had nothing to do with the software of grub hub and I just asked how long it take so I can respect her customers in door dining and wait outside due to covid procedures. I ordered two gran slams with 2 coffees and paid over $34 dollars, seems to me the prices went up, don't think I will be going to Dennys anymore, too pricey and too long of a wait. read more
