Good service peaceful to eat and just overall good food I recommend this place for anyone who just wants to have a peaceful meal

I had a good experience here once, thought I'd make this our Dennys since I thought the Rialto one was bad. Boy was I wrong, I went with my family and they took nearly an hour for our order. Okay whatever it was the weekend it gets busy I get it. Today restaurant near empty yet they took a good 20 minutes for pancakes and eggs for a party of two. God forbid you ask for their value menu they'll treat you like poo. Sadly it'll be your own people that discriminate against you, my Spanish is broken and therefore I don't speak it as much, yet our server Alejandra kept talking to us in Spanish. Today's my Birthday bitch! So I decided to come to Denny's to get my free birthday meal. It was yummy. It was mega packed so it took a while to put our order in. Once the waiter acknowledged us, she did an excellent job. The manager and other employees we're super friendly. This Denny's is not the best, but the manager always makes up for it one way or another. My food was actually on point today. I'm not a fan of scrambled eggs and this is the only time I dare to order them. When cooked right, they are yummy. Forget about ordering over medium eggs. Cooks be acting like its the hardest thing to make. All in all this location is ok. read more

We were hungry last night, so my boyfriend, his siblings and I decided to come here to dine. Our waitress was also the hostess, and didn't act or look too happy. The denny's itself was small and could use some renovating, but it wasn't totally dingy. We sat down, and right away our sad waitress/hostess wanted to know if we were ready to order. Considering we had literally just sat down, we ordered some waters just to get her to give us some time to decide. 15 minutes later, we ARE ready to order, but since she's the only person working the front AND the tables, we just wait and wait. Finally, she comes by, and we order: 1 double cheeseburger with grilled white onions, another double cheeseburger with no tomato and avocado with seasoned fries, a bacon avocado burger with no onions, and my bacon avocado burger with no pickles and seasoned fries. My bf's brother ordered a drink, and so did his sister. His drink came out right away, but hers took 20 minutes to come out, and it only came out because of what happened to my boyfriend and I... We get our food, we order some more drinks because the tap water was nasty, and my boyfriend's sister realizes she got my burger on her plate, and I got hers on mine, so we had to pick them up and switch them. His brother's burger didn't have avocado, either, so we figured we'd tell our waitress once she decided to come back. Instead, the manager came by to drop off my boyfriend's drink. As she was putting the drink down, my bf's brother mentioned his burger lacked avocado, and I saw her, in slow motion, literally tilt the drink foward, and spilling it all over my boyfriend's burger, and both our pants. Oh yay, we are drenched, it looks like I peed myself, and the manager is sorry, but really doesn't look it at all. The busboy comes by to clean, and HE takes his burger away to make a whole new one, NOT the manager who caused the spill. The ladies sitting behind us are trying to find me some paper towels, so because no one working there is bringing me any, they tell me to head to the bathroom and use the hand dryer. I walk into the bathroom to find a broken toilet, the other toilet sans toilet paper, no hand dryer and no paper towels. Right, okay. I finally sit down, and we eat. Our waitress/hostess comes by, and she shows emotion by feeling sorry about what happened, and offering us some dessert on the house. We politely decline, and eat. To be fair, the burgers were good, so no complaints there. She finally brought my bf's sister her drink, and managed not to spill it accidentally on purpose. Once we got our bill by the manager, she said she comped our drinks, but in actuality, she took off all drinks except my bf's brother's drinks...was it because she blamed his avocado for distracting her? Was it because she still didn't care, just like she didn't really care that she had gotten two people and a burger completely soaked? I had to drive home for 30 minutes with sticky pants. It wasn't pleasant, and neither was our visit to this location. P.s. Denny's, if you are going to offer a banquet room for parties, please don't put up a poster stating this fact and spelling parties as "party's." At least TRY. read more

Placed an order over the phone went over the order twice with waiter. Food took forever when picking up. I ordered a cup of soup (no soup) I ordered potatoes instead of hash browns and ended up with NOTHING. This place is by far the worst Denny's I've been. Service coming in was horrible. Sat down and the waiter said a rude comment and then tried to fix it. Then I ask for a soup and they don't have anything. I can't eat anything right now that is hard, and I asked can you guys make some more. They are like nooo it's all done. I will never go to Denny's in Colton again, bad customer service, we we're served cold coffee, our food took 30 minutes to get to us, with only one cook, I ordered turkey, bacon & avocado sandwich & I didn't get my avocado, when I asked the waitress she said avocado is too expensive we are not serving it anymore, I said why didn't you tell me? She shrugged her shoulders & walked away. I asked for a discount for no avocado & received $2.75 off my bill & no, I didn't leave a tip. this place doesn't even deserve one star. read more

I usually call in and pick up my food which always takes forever...today i came in with my son and sat down. Order food through door dash as we had no power , they were fixing something .After waiting I don't know how long ,I got wrong food, the tray where wrong food was had grits dripped on it . Food I got was nasty ,enough to want . to barf. I called and told them food was wrong and they said come pick up the food ,they should have done right in the first place. If I had a car or was able to travel I would have gone out to eat and it would have been fresh ,quicker and maybe right. Came in around 8 pm on a Sunday and the place was empty, so we figured the service would be awesome but it wasn't. The waitress sat us down and left without giving us menus. Years ago I ate here, one night, with my now, ex-wife. I ordered a stack of pancakes. When it came, I put some butter, on my knife. As I lifted the pancake, to butter the next one, I saw, laying dead, between the cakes, a small, winged, brown "COCKROACH"! When I showed the waitress, what was on my pancake, she was "horrified". She told me she'd get me another fresh order.......but, I told her....."don't even bother, my stomach had already turned", and we walked out, and went somewhere else, to eat! Another time, I ate at another Denny's, on my birthday, and was given a free meal. I ordered, a steak, and baked potato dinner. But, when I started to eat my baked potato, I noticed that it was totally "black, and ROTTEN" inside. God, can't the cooks even see the condition, when preparing it, with butter, and sour cream. I got up, and again, left a Denny's! I highly recommend.......NEVER eat at a Denny's, because, you never know, what you're going to stick, into your mouth! Well, today me and my bestfriend decided to eat here. We were VERY UNSATISFIED ! Not only did it smell like crap in the place, and when we asked to be moved they had an attitude. Then shined us on when trying to order our drinks and food. Then walked away from us and took another tables order, who had come in after us. Took forever to bring our food. And never came to check if we needed refills or if we were ok, then once we ask for the bill bring us new drinks?? Worst service ever!!!!!!!. Definitely worst place to eat . Having lived in the area I have gone to this Denny's off and on for years. The one thing I can say is the food at this location is consistent with all Denny's .. Thank god for the cook... But the service we had at this location was horrific. Wish I could say it was busy, but the only thing busy was the Managers mouth... the man talked non-stop while we were there, to staff and on the phone. The one and only waitress working was obviously bored with her job and made no effort to even do it half assed. She was cold, slow and obviously didn't care. One of the meals ordered came with a desert, which we did not get for close to 15 mins after all the meals had been finished.. one of the very few times we left absolutely nothing for a tip. If I could I would give zero stars. Came with a party of five. As soon as we sat down Fabi our host already had a poor attitude with us. As soon as we got our food, my hash browns were undercooked. So they took them back to cook them for longer. My pancakes were on a disgusting plate like it was not washed from the previous meal! When I got my hash browns back they looked exactly the same. This restaurant is okay. The middle table doesn't have a regular waitress/waiter, so if they decide to go on break then that table gets ignored. Today on my visit my waitress was awesome, but when she left to go on break my table was stuck without service until I finally had to get up and request someone's to tend to or table. Instead of a server coming they send the manager. Why not just send a waitress or waiter to see what we need. This table was very much neglected, we had no napkins, no syrup for these pancakes and just not great service after our waitress went for break. When looking around to me being the only different person in the establishment I felt maybe no one just really wanted to help my table at all. Food is Denny's. It is always the same. Had I wrote this a few weeks ago, I might have rated it differently, but management has changed again and now if you want something on your burger (Build your own) it doesn't cost extra. If you want it on the side of that same burger, it costs you extra. GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE. With the exception of a few of the waitstaff that have been there for years, the rest are clueless and I hope leave and find decent jobs elsewhere, because this is not where they should be working. read more

Manager asked us to hold on and be seated, while we were standing there (by the way the place was practically empty) a group of three came up and say them right away . Then we were standing there until a waitress came up and asked if we'd been seated. We said no and she said oh why'd they seat someone before you and the manager just said sorry under his breath. Food was good, the waiter Chris had good customer service, but the manager was a little witch ‍. Before we walked into Danny's, she was banging on the window signing to put our mask on before entering. Another couple walked in shortly after without any face coverings and not one word was mentioned to them by the manager about wearing a face covering because it was her family or someone she knew on a personal basis. In addition, one of the employees was sitting at the counter mask-less enjoying his break while the manager was arranging utensils in front of the employee. Me and my family went by here on our way out and by far best visit yet. The waiter was really kin d and the manger was even better upgrading my Lil.sister kid drink to large at no extra cost. Only down fall is that they seemed a little short staffed so food was a little slow, but food was still hot and tasted amazing. read more
