My friend and I aren't local; we were on a road trip and ran out of gas earlier than expected. We stopped at the Shell across the road and decided we might as well stay for breakfast--and I can honestly say it's been the best decision I ever made. This Denny's just makes me feel safe--there's no other way to put it. Our server Jose was kind and when we asked about buying their mugs, provided excellent customer service. There was even a robot that brought out the food, which is a sight I can't recommend highly enough. I didn't catch the manager's name but he was super patient as well, answering every question we had. The food was incredible--I'm not sure I'll be able to eat Denny's after this. Nothing back home comes close. I could road trip across the entire United States and never find a Denny's half as good as this one. If I could give it a million stars I would!!!!! read more

This is definitely my favorite Denny's in the area. Consistently good food, consistently exceptional service, and the manager is amazing as well. Our last experience there was what convinced me to take the time to write this review. I gave my son the choice to eat anywhere he wanted after his 8th grade promotion. I was beyond surprised that chose this place?!? Well, I have to say, our meal was super enjoyable. Our server was one of the friendliest we've ever had. And the awesome manager even greeted us at our table and assisted us in taking advantage of the discount when he found out we were yelpers! Will be returning, often! read more

A rare quality in people these days. By the time l came in my order was ready and l was out the door. It's the old values that are missing these days with everything. I know! Denny's are everywhere! BUT, this is the best Denny's I've been to in a while. The place was nice and clean. Very inviting. The experience was extra special because of Ms. Shirly. The sweetest waitress you can have help you. Ms. Shirly was very attentive to our needs. I ordered a hot chocolate. The minute she saw my cup empty, she immediately asked if I'd like another. I ordered the breakfast slam that consist of two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two sausages, two slices of bacon oh and hash browns. All that for $6.99! What a deal. When I received my food my bacon needed to be cooked a little longer to my liking. Ms. Shirly has no problem with taking it back for me without a problem. When she brought it back it was perfect! Came to the new Denny's for dinner and was immediately greeted with big smiles and a welcoming hello from the Host Kevin! Kevin let us pick our booth and made us feel like we were at home with friends. Our waitress was very patient with us and didn't rush us to order. The food came out fast and hot which was amazing. I made my own omelette and ended the night with their peanut butter chocolate pie. All in all we had an amazing time and will be back soon. read more

This diner is one located on the opposite way from solano community college. Came here to order breakfast to go. Had to wait a bit to get a menu so that I may order for take out. Reasonable prices. There's even the $2, $4, $6 & $8 dollar menu. Once your order is placed, it didn't take long for it to get done. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and pancakes with eggs and bacon. Total cost $18. Plus, if you check in via yelp, You can get a rebate bsck for dining at this Denny's. i got 10% back! For quick good breakfast, this place isn't that bad. read more

Breakfast and a show, a shitshow. It took forever to order and even longer for our food to arrive. It was around 40 minutes after being seated that we were finally eating, and it wasn't busy. The table next to us that was seated after us got 1/2 of what they ordered, and the second dish after we had finished our food. I've been coming to this Denny's for a while now, never really spoke to management or anything like that. But I always get the same friendly service every time. LOCATION: I believe it's in a really good location in this small Cordelia community. Next to a real cool "Fun Park" called Scandia, where you can play arcade games, mini golf, batting cages, go karts, and etc. it's also located near tons of gas stations and a Starbucks coffee shop. FOOD: I mean cmon it's Denny's, it's a corporate restaurant not a small cafe shop owned by a family. I don't really go for the sausage or bacon from ANY Denny's, but their pancakes are very delicious as well as their eggs and grits. They have a very cool menu with all different types of meals for many different prices for someone with even $2 $4 $6 or $8 in their pocket. SERVICE: As mentioned earlier their service at this Denny's is always friendly. Seems like they had the same employees with a few new young faces working for experience. The manager has a nice handle on his employees, and it seems like a have a clear vision on how he wants his restaurant to be ran. I do recommend this Denny's in Cordelia. read more

This was the BEST Denny's I've ever been to. On the road again, we didn't have the energy to venture far from our hotel for dinner...so we went to the Denny's across the street. The place was nearly empty due to the late hour, but did not have the creepy feeling of a late night diner. Our server was attentive and friendly. My husband ordered one of his favorites--Moons Over My Hammy with seasoned fries... everything was done perfectly. I didn't feel like anything greasy, and was intrigued by the veggie burger on the menu-with spinach, sauteed mushrooms, and pepper jack cheese on a toasted wheat bun. That's pretty much my idea of a perfect sandwich (just add tomato, and its perfect). The actual veggie burger turned out better than I could have imagined. The whole wheat bun was perfectly toasted, the fresh mushrooms were sauteed perfectly to bring out their flavor and texture, the pepper jack added the perfect kick, and the spinach was fresh and not wilted. Oh yeah--and the veggie burger-crispy exterior with a soft (not mushy) core. All this at Denny's???? Usually, I order veggie burgers when nothing else on a menu sounds appetizing.
