This is our favorite dinner spot Tuesday nights . We come for the kids eat free special and to see our favorite server Steven. He is quick efficient, kind and can tell he takes pride in his work and establishment . The food is always made to order. Our favorite is the Chocolate chip pancakes breakfast with strawberries whip cream, scrambled eggs, sausage , and hash browns. April 5, 2024. I went back into return a takeout order that I had at first I was pretty pissed.. we have always come in here and had good food. We like the managers and the servers we tip well we're not problem people or complain.. the day before I got two hamburgers and french fries. Came to $23. I left the four dollar tip.. drove home on the side of town open up the box cannot believe what I saw. One box had no fries at all.. another box had. Five fries that's it. I'm like what is this my husband's burger half the bun was gone. There was a tomato core for tomato. It was bad.. both boxes Not only was there no fries, but the burgers were horrible . Just the first time I ever had to go back and return something at first I had to go on and explain myself I took pictures of what it look like.. it's not the point was not busy when I went in there yesterday I could've went to In-N-Out Burger but I chose to go to Denny's. I don't mind paying for my food but when it's that bad, then I'm gonna say something at first manager was doing the Well, you know you should've came back I was on the other side of Corona I told I would not come in and bring my food back. I'm 63 years old. I complain like this, but it was really bad and I want to show you as a man bring your attention that your cook it was not busy at all yesterday yesterday was either too lazy to make fries or put the burger together. Doesn't matter if I paid $25 or $50 I come to you in good faith now you're making me pissed.!! At this time the food was remade and then he came to me. He's like no problem his name was Sam he see my girlfriend were in the car. They know this from coming in every weekend for breakfast and he's really a nice guy I just want him to know I don't blame him.. or the waitress I think the cook was just being lazy times are crazy today and my husband works very hard for us to go out and enjoy food and paying for it. The only thing I asked is to please make sure it's all there I want to thank you Sam for standing behind the food, our first time ever that I had ever taken food back we will continue go to Denny's on Ontario. We go there every week. We're good people we tip well, but we will not go back to this restaurant when I got in the car my girlfriend was in the car with her groceries. She said that her husband and her come every week that they know Sam I told her how he treated me he was.. the Hispanic waiter, who was standing at the register, looking at me I will tell you this young man for 25 years I worked at the Ritz. Carlton was a manager. Your job is a take care of the customers and mind your own business and let the manager handle his don't ever try stare at me or eye me down again I looked right back at you. you might be in your 50s and have to wait tables but you will be respectful again. I do not mind paying for my food but if you do not put the food in my box I will bring it back take care of your customers and they will keep your doors open crazy times right right now, but again, thank you Sam for remaking the food.. this was not your fault. I blame the cook who was irresponsible lazy and didn't even take the time to put the food together. Maybe it's time for you to have a pre-shift meeting with your cook and your servers but the Hispanic waitress who has a nice pink nails she's awesome. She was very nice again give the people benefits of a doubt when they come in with the food. Not good it's not like it's coming out of your ass. read more

Just a little advice to keep your customers happy, (1). It would help that if the customer orders a delivery order for Denny's to get the order right. (2). Cold pancakes doesn't work at all for know one. (3). Nor do cold toast in a paper bag. And when you give the delivery driver a customers food, how about you seal the bag before handing it over to the driver, and a customer shouldn't have to ask the delivery driver for any condiments at all, the Delivery orders should only be sent to the customer in the best preparation state, however, this location will never get another chance to send me cold pancakes and non cooked sausage links ever again, cause I already know that as a customer that you can't expect better from a location full of people who don't know how to be better, thanks for nothing but a horrible trash meal and a waste of $20.00 read more

I thought that was weird so I turned the syrup upside down And that's when it threw out a black fly. And the worst part..... It was still alive!! This was by far the worst meal I have had in a very very long time! Brunch with the in laws, they suggested we go here, no talking them out of it. Located right along the Freeway behind a gas station, my husband and I already joked we bet they serve roadkill. An hour later, we were positive they do, sh*t was nasty, I can't put it any other way. I had a hard time deciding what to get as I am not a fan of breakfast foods or eating something overly fatty or salty for lunch so I feel like crap all day. Salmon Caesar it is then. Everyone else's food came after aboyt 10 minutes, 10 minutes after that, a chicken salad, sent it back and waited another 10, by the others had finished eating. The lettuce was wilted and tough, like they pulled some weeds out of the parking lot. The salmon did not even look like salmon, way oversalted, had a bite and left it. The in laws enjoyed their food, my son had all you can eat pancakes, hes a kid, so that was all good with him. My husband had the philly omelette and sandwich, they use fake cheese slices and roadkill, needless to say he left it after a bite too. No way I would ever come here again, not even to be nice to family or for a free meal, its THAT BAD! I ordered a cali club sandwich, amongst other items, spent $35 plus a tip only to come home to see they used wheat bread for my sandwich. I am already a picky eater, so this was very upsetting to me. I did not enjoy my sandwich at all. The bread they are supposed to use for this specific sandwich gives the sandwich a totally different flavor. Last couple times I have been here has been awesome. My server was Carolina! She has the best skills ever! She is attentive, smiley and keeps your drinks full and your table CLEAN. She has a good sense of humor and is VERY personable! Dennys can use more like her!!! Now just bring back the chicken noodle 7 days a week and I'll be happy Update: went back today....different server but still as delightful. This one was named Elvira and was just as amazing. Came here ONLY because the Denny's on Hamner told me it would be a 20-minute wait for food at 5 a.m., as the chef had just cleaned the kitchen area. Grrrrr. Little did I know that I should have waited rather than to come to this 6th Street location. Here are the lowlights of my experience: 1. Super COLD: server said the heater has been BROKEN for a MONTH. What? Why would the owner be so cheap as to not have it repaired immediately. Who wants to have to dine in an overcoat? Shame. 2. Latino music blaring by Latino cook. Where is the common sense? I had to tell the server to tell him to turn that crap off. Is this his private Tijuana rock concert? 3. No coffee available when I arrived. 4. Entrée arrived only 30 seconds after my salad. WHY? Thus, I had to leave it sit with dressing on it while I ate the hot portion of my meal. By the time I was done with that, the salad was all soggy and wilted and I did not eat it. It was NOT taken off my bill. Why? Came here for some fab food around 5:00 am after discovering the Hamner location was going to be at least a twenty minute wait (per friendly notification from management), and I thought I'd try my luck at this location. Here, there was a smile and greet, open seat, and food to eat that made my breakfast experience truly egg-cellent lol My highlights as a lone diner are listed as follows: 1. Environment: It was a chilly Sunday morning, due to the midst of a rainy consecutive days in Southern California, and well, it was 5:00 am with no sunlight, but I threw on my finest cardigan sweater, strolled from my sweet red car in the parking lot into the front doors of the establishment, and within minutes, my bones were better warmed indoors. Cozy. 2. The tunes: Some fine, culturally rich, Spanish music seeping from the openings of the kitchen. It took me back to my many days of vacationing in Mexico, and being the expert I am of regionally defining origins of Spanish songs, I immediately recognized the song from my time in Tijuana. I shared a smile with the cook and reminisced of when I used to party; in fact, I still like to jam with my Bing Crosby cassettes in my car, and I sympathize with this employee's relationship to playing his music 3. Beverages: There was no coffee available when I arrived, but I am not a self-centered man, and I understand that 5:00 am on a Sunday may be a peak breakfast hour for early-goers, and my server, James, was happy to brew me up a hot, fresh cup of Joe 4. Entrées: I received my salad, and shortly thereafter, my food arrived hot and scrumptious. MAN these guys can cook! I ate my salad first, and when my food arrived, I ate between both plates simultaneously because of the generous portions. Hypothetically, I couldn't understand how anybody would ever be so stubborn as to wait and eat their salad after their hot meal like some faux dessert. WHO does that? Man, I am truly amazed at this location, 6th Street really has some of Denny's finest. Critics and friends alike have raved about this location during my 20 year residency throughout Corona. I do not post reviews very often and my family is pretty easy to please however this Denny's is definitely not up to par. We ordered appetizer when we first sat down and 25 minutes later it was obvious that our mozzarella sticks were forgotten so when the waitress told us our food was almost ready I cancelled them. A few minutes later the food was brought out and after that the appetizer was brought out. Also the rest of our food came out at different times, bacon was not cooked, my daughter's toast came after she was finished eating, I had a spider crawling next to me that I killed AND a bee was trying to land on our food.. wth!! Also thought it was interesting that she still tried to charge us for the appetizer. Just wanted to warn anyone contemplating a visit here. read more

i wish i could give them 0 stars i went and got a happy meal just because i wanted the monopoly toy they said they were going to give it to me but when i got home i checked and they had given me the operation game and then they said they couldn't return it so i politely asked to return it along with my sister with stage 2 cancer. They told me to shut up and no exchange could be done but just as i was leaving they called my sister baldy i got mad and i confronted them just to get spitted on then they started throwing all the toys at me and said to keep the filthy toys. they luckily didn't injure me i believe that's what left them unsatisfied because they threw at me a knife now i'm missing a finger therefore if you like your finger don't come here now i'm also disabled :( read more

Zero starts... I work full time mon-fri.. I called because I was looking for a side job, a weekend job... I have exp working in the restaurant business.. i called and the host was professiona, but the manager "Antonio" was the most disrespectful manager I have ever encountered.... I explained my experience in the restaurant business and after I was done he called me a bitch and then hung up. I have three kids. And I work hard and I'm a hard worker.. Idk what Antonio's issue was but being disrespected like that was not sitting well with me.. like I said I was looking for a side job and the fact Antonio called me a bitch and hung up on me didn't sit well with me and I don't tolerate that kind of professionalism... I hope the CEO sees this review and fires him.. he makes IHOP look bad with his attitude towards the company.. f u Antonio..
