The burrito itself was just plain and boring. The hot sauce was sad, it was literally watered down. Nobody eats breakfast burrito with soggy watery salsa. The staff and team were amazing.

The customer right before her paid in cash, the worker made change, then went straight back to handling food. Yuck. That's a clear health code violation. After watching him give her a hard time about a completely reasonable request, I just turned around, left, and found a pastry somewhere else.

to start off I want to thank Luz for being so incredibly kind and welcoming, she held a smile on her face the whole time taking our order and bringing out order and drinks out as well. Such an amazing person and truly the star of this establishment. I do want to say that the food was okay, the chocolate milk I ordered was more so just milk as there was hardly any chocolate, which I could tell by the color and taste. The fried steak was not as flavourful as I'd like I had to add the seasonings they provide on the table to be able to get some taste to it, and the shredded potato was bearly holding together as it wasn't cooked very thoroughly, I would have asked for it extra crispy if I knew that was the standard cooking amount :/. overall I think the food was a bit rushed to try to get it out fast; I wish they would have focused on the quality of it more even if I had to wait a little longer. Now to the bit that made this experience not enjoyable for me was the server at the front, it was a tall male, I don't know his name as he didn't have a name tag on when me and my husband looked at him for one. we walk in followed by another group with a few people. we wait a minute or two before were helped as he was attending a table by the entrance. he asks us "for two?" but we were talking so it took us a few seconds before we answer "yes" and then he asks the group behind us before yelling at us "everyone! i need everyone " as he began to walk away so we follow as he just throws two menus down for us on one table and a few other on another table for the other group and walks away without saying anything. i saw him doing this to other guests as well. i have had his job before and a simple proper greeting when guests come in such as " Good morning, how many will it be today" or if hes busy "good morning, ill be with you in a moment" and when guiding us to the table a simple "can i have both parties follow me please?" and when arriving at the tables saying "heres your table, someone will be out to take your order shortly" is all it take. simple things make such as difference. i get we all have bad days but its not the worlds fault. he kept looking at us funny even as we went to go pay. he seemed to be getting along with a group of older women but to everyone else omg he was not in a good mood? your good looks may be getting you by at their table but everyone else does not care for it man, just be equally respectful or find a job where you dont have to speak to people.. read more

We were there today. We got seated quickly but the SERVICE was lowsy and there weren't even that many customers in the place. I had to go get the manager to take my order. My server had a rude attitude. Seriously these people need to be retrained. most of the people probably live in walking distance from the college West LA college or surrounding businesses. Denny's has a nice menu and reasonable rates. Seriously these people act like they are doing US a favor. I cannot stand this Denny's in my opinon they should learn how to treat people. The last time we had just got our food and this waitress comes asking us "Is that all because I am getting ready to go home." I was thinking "So what does that have to do with me. Take yo self home. You JUST brought my food." But I didnt' say it. So I said, "Ok well leave us our bill. Take care and I gave her three bucks because I knew she just wanted the tip. SERIOUSLY DENNYS? You have to send some of your secret people into this shop and let them know how the service is send someone in there daily. These people have nasty attitudes and they don't care. I will not be going to this Denny's EVER again. it's terrible Also you know the 2 dollar slice of pie. I ordered that and guess what??? it was FROZEN. it wasnt even cooked it looked sickly and not like how pumpkin pie looks in the photo nor at VON's Grocery store. i was so irritated and I couldnt believe that they would even serve this pie. Tempess (the manager) is absolutely incomparable in her service, leadership, and customer service skills. I have never seen a manager so humble, effective, and competent before. Usually, ego rules, and efficiency is their only 'gift.' This particular woman can switch from delegating tasks--with the respect those she manages deserve--to being of the most helpful and unsurprisingly pleasant service to the customers themselves. She is truly a multi-modal and multi-gifted person in a position that represents the face and mission statement of Denny's itself. You should be proud that you chose her; she makes people actually want to come back. It's one thing to be stressed in life and walk into an establishment not knowing what you are going to order or the type of service you will encounter. It's another thing to know that even if I'm having a bad day, if I go to Denny's, Tempess will be there--so at least I can have a moment of peace while I eat. Walked in here early morning. Around 5:30am. There was an older guy who moved so slow I thought he was sick. He wore a mask under his chin (pointless??). He mumbled to me but I could tell he meant have a seat by his gesture. The place wasn't crowded but the service was slow and weird. The waitress approached me in a way where I could tell she either thought I was maybe drunk from the club or high. I was neither. I asked for cream for the coffee I ordered and she seemed annoyed. I ordered pancakes but never got syrup. Strange. I had to wait for her to come back but the pancakes were cold by then. She brought syrup and I could tell she knew she misjudged me. She never redeemed herself and the service was a C- I've eaten here a ton of times but never have I been treated so poorly. I tipped 10% and left. Maybe time to try a new spot. read more

Today me and my husband went to Danny's on Jefferson in Culver City and we had a different experience. We normally go on weekends and we had plans to go either on Monday or Tuesday when our favorite cook David is there. We ended up going there and I noticed only one waitress for the big dinning area and also doing cashier at first it was taking long for our service but we realized how well Jessie Del Carmen did her job. I have never seen so much energy and care by one waitress specially because she was very courteous and went above to provide us with excellent service. I was sad that she is not available for many hours she is really good with her clients. She deserves to be at Danny's more hours so we can have the opportunity to be there more often. There is not much that I could really say about Denny's that you don't already know. It is one of those places that you go to when it's real late and nothing else is opened. I had some breakfast, and it was good surprisingly. I got the original grand slam, and I guess you can say that I was feeling a little nostalgic for the pancakes. It takes me back to the time my family and I traveled around the states looking at monuments and state parks. But this last time I was coming from no state park. Just the night club. The food came quick and the waiters was tired but very nice. Next time I get smashed again, I would not mind going back. I had a great breakfast at Denny's today! I ordered an omelette and the brisket sandwich, and both were honestly so good. The omelette was fluffy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. I love the way the employees took initiative to help me the moment I walked into Dennys. There was a guy named Zaid who helped me while he was on hai break. Cecilia took the initiate to relieve him and she helped me with my order . Cecilia made sure that I received everything I ordered and she checked in with me multiple times throughout my wait . This is my first time at this location because I'm waiting for a friend while she's in graduation rehearsal for west Los Angeles city college . My 75 year old mom was verbally assaulted by Waitress Yanisbeth H. last night at her table, again when she tried to pay at the register and then followed out of the restaurant into the parking lot where more of the racist verbal assault happened. i always come to this dennys and it's always clean and attend me right away, I usually go in the mornings and although it gets busy they always make sure I have everything I need. I went to this Denny's after not visiting it for years. It's convenient and pretty close to home. The food was really good, but the waitress wasn't very attentive. I had to flag her down to get a coffee refill/warming. On that note, the coffee was too weak and not hot enough. Being that the mug was cold, the coffee wasn't going to stay hot. The service was great by phone and when we picked up. It was just ready, hot and packed perfectly. The place is very cute and comfortable. We have dined there before. We have even been bold and ordered their new to us at least, pulled pork BBQ omelet. It was great and I will get it again. They always have endless coffee. Their chicken biscuit sandwich is also really good and not at all greasy. It does not come with gravy, but I ordered some on the side and it was the best for dipping. We love this location.

And while Im all for being safe and wearing masks if you so choose, the reality is a person communicating through a mask rarely hears you correctly the first time, nor will you really be able to see what their expressions are to see if they in turn understood exactly what you ordered. At least that's been my reality when I'm trying to order food to someone wearing a mask the last couple of times. All in all, we got a decent amount of food for the two of us, although 40 plus bucks is still a bit of a ride. If you can deal with the parking, and want to eat some chicken as clean as possible, I recommend this spot.

However there was something confusing about my specific meal choice in the app so one of the women saw me struggling and quickly came and took my order the old fashion way, with a smile. Normally Ono can take a little longer than a normal "fast food," restaurant to get your food since they're actually cooking a lot of it, but today, even though there was a family of 6 in front of me my order came out really quickly. Their onion rights a fried perfectly, with a great crunch on them. They also have a nice selection of shakes. Last time we were there they had a coffee shake which was really good. We have yet to have a bad meal there. The prices are within reason and parking is very easy. You will like their service and the location.
