6.8.23 It has been a hot minute since we have ate at Denny's. Due to COVID Denny's deleted a lot off their menu. They did away with plain hamburger buns. WHY... I can not eat sesame seeds. We came in and WOW, they remodeled and it looks great. I always told my husband they should get rid of the old decor. (Orange and brown have got to go!) It looks a thousand times better and no dirty carpet anymore! The menu is quite a bit smaller now but the selections they do have are good options. Breakfast, burgers, steaks (never tried one), lasagna. We both ordered the "dining special cheeseburger & fries". This is the only burger that does not have sesame seeds. It is smaller than the other ones but that was ok with me. It ended up being a perfect size. The fries are always great at Denny's. We ordered the no seasoned wavy fries. They did put S&P on them this time(wish they would not have). When we are in the area again(Cypress) we will have to remember Denny's.

Cuzz I love Denny's moons over hammy sub turkey & coffee. Enjoying my morning

My second time at this Denny's location. I got the same waitress as last time, she's amazing, energetic & prompt... Her name starts with an M I believe beautiful long red hair that's how you'll know her. I only always order the Moons over my hammy (sub turkey for ham) but this time I chose french fries as a side. NEWS FLASH: Denny's has NEW FRIES, steak cut with deep ridges, super crispy, dipped in ranch, so yum! All of the staff is nice here, there are plastic plates to separate each booth for sanitary reasons, nice! Anyway... enjoy...oh huge plus, I left my laptop at the table by accident & left. She put it away for me. So thankful for good people left in this world.

Very clean. The staff was so kind and friendly. They had a regular family sitting near us and they remembered their order and made cute conversations with the kids. I was very impressed.

    Ok

The pancakes were under Cook and the hash browns were under Cook and taste old but the service was pretty good

The steak was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was cooked well, flavorful, and easily the best thing on the plate. Unfortunately, everything else ranged from mediocre to disappointing. The fried onion rings were extremely salty and just not enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were also overly salty, which made them hard to eat. The cream corn was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. What Mia's Table does really well is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a lively, family friendly environment, and it was packed when I visited. They also have a self serve ice cream bar, which is a nice touch for families with kids. If I were rating solely based on ambiance and overall vibe, I would probably give it 4 stars. The frustrating part is that I spent about $26 on my meal and ended up only really enjoying the steak. For that price point, I expected the sides to be just as good as the main dish. Overall, a great atmosphere and a solid steak, but the food quality was too inconsistent for me to rate it any higher.

They accommodated us with our stroller and made it work. I am so excited that I found a farm to table restaurant where I feel like the food is good enough quality to feed my baby. They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. It's been quite a long time since I was here and as I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by again today. Remembering how good they were last time, I ordered the Oma's Frikadellen (grandma's recipe for all-beef meatballs). I like a good German meatball and these were tender and juicy. There was a choice of red cabbage or sauerkraut as a side; having confirmed they made the sauerkraut in-house themselves, had to order that because I know it's super healthy to eat. Better yet, that sauerkraut was almost perfect with a great flavor, but not too tart and just really a delicious version. Honestly I could've eaten a huge bucket load of that sauerkraut and I may buy some to go someday just to have it on hand in my refrigerator; a slight warm and it would be a wonderful side to serve guests. Dessert was a wow! I wanted to try a dessert that they made themselves and so I couldn't help but go with one of the dessert specials of the day. There were several options available not on the menu and although it was tempting to try the tiramisu or one of the three versions of crème brûlée they make, I decided to go with their homemade limoncello cake which turned out to be a delicious choice that I'm very happy about. Waiter Ty said it was one of his favorite desserts here and I could taste why -- moist cake, flavor-filled filling, whipped cream and with blueberries to decorate the plate. In fact it was so yummy that I decided that so someday soon I would order one with a couple days notice and then take it to my family's place next time I go over for dinner - what I don't know is whether I'll tell them the truth or try and pretend that I made it myself LOL :-) Update: the next day I did call to order an entire cake and it didn't last very long once the family dug in, got gobbled up because it had an intense great lemon flavor, wonderful.

This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one.
