This Denny's was nasty/unclean. My boyfriend saw ketchup on the divider so I looked to my right. I watched the lady at the window to get the food. She nor any of the servers had on gloves. She was reaching across all of the food with her armpits. My food was horrible greasy and cold when I it came to the table. I had mashed potatoes but when I got my retried chicken tenders back I had French fries. Waitress slow again, NO GLOVERS. Manager helped, but what do you do when every Denny's I googled had a 2.5 star. People we want nice clean restaurants. Stop cooking nasty food. This is not a fast food place, if you are in a hurry, it might help to tell them you have limited time. Jose was my server, i liked him he was attentive. I was there at 9 am, the coffee seemed pretty strong. The fruit was fresh and nice. The eggs were okay, not as good as the Denny's in Monterrey Park. I wish the English muffin and turkey bacon had been crisper. The food was definitely okay and I think they would have done the muffin and bacon more, info had asked. Went there for breakfast recently. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was friendly and attentive. A member of our party was a lovely man with a disability who needed wheelchair accommodations. Our server, Cesar C., could not have been more helpful, more friendly or more accommodating. In fact, the entire staff was so kind and friendly. The food was good. The service was excellent. What a pleasant experience for all of us! Service was HORRIBLE! We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. We could see all the workers on the side laughing and singing songs to one another. Finally someone sat us and we waited another almost 10 minutes to be helped. At least we knew what we wanted. AGAIN, the longest wait for our food. When we got it the food was a mess. My dad's food was sloppy looking and my food was dripping off the plate. During this time we could STILL hear the workers in the back screwing around. I've lived in the area for a few years now but I have to say that I'm not supporting this restaurant EVER. I usually order a steak with two sides and every time I have to argue with them about my portions. This happened before the pandemic so they can't say that's the case. Either way-give the ppl what they pay for, or they won't be supporting like I won't anymore. My side of onion rings contained 4 onion rings? Where do they do that at? That's completely not acceptable. The service isn't even good there. There are plenty of other places where I can spend my money and actually get what I pay for. You guys suck . No bbq sauce. No bbq sauce?! I ordered takeout and even the guy in front didn't seem welcoming and he didn't look like he knew what he was doing. Got the build your own burger. I requested bbq sauce in my burger but was not included because they ran out! I only noticed this because after getting my order and brought it to my car, I realize I forgot to ask for some on the side for my fries. Went back in and I asked the host who was so awkward, and he goes to get it then just tells me they ran out. No 'sorry' or 'have a nice day' which I really don't care for, but once he told me that I was ignored and he went to ring up the other customer. So cold. Lol. My order came with such a small portion of fries compared to another location which by the way had excellent service and prepared my food better. I will never go to this location. Came in on a slow Sunday with a big family group No hostess up front waited about ten minutes before someone spoke to us. Manager was in the background joking with the bus boy both on there phones. Finally we were sitting to wait another twenty minutes,wan never asked if we even want water...this Denny's is horrible over staffed with no one working. Manager on duty for this Sunday afternoon on 3/3/19 never glanced our way. Waiters missed out on Tipps, and the store missed out on at least a 200$ bill terrible place not recommended. read more

Well, what can I say. I don't come to Dennys very often anymore. But I came in today to get a free Grand Slam breakfast for my birthday. As an experienced Yelper, I keep first impressions in mind but wait for the experience before writing. First impressions, as I walked up to the door, there was an employee cleaning outside. Good sign. He stopped and walked in the door, just in front of me, and let the door close behind him. Not a good sign. So I opened the door and walked in. I was by myself so I sat myself at the counter. Plenty of room at 9am on a Tuesday. One waitress behind the counter gave me the memus and said my waitress would be right with me. A minute or so later, Maria came by to take my order. I asked if they still had the free breakfast for your birthday and she looked at me like a was one of those door to door religious groups asking for her to bare witness. She said yes, one free original Grand Slam. Yea! She was not impressed. :( I didn't get a smile the entire time I was there. To all the wait staff of the world, I don't want you to flirt with me but I would like to feel welcomed in your establishment. Smiles and timely service go a long way towards a great tip. Frowns and speedy exits do not. Still for what would have been a $10 tab, I left $2, 20%, even though I only paid for the drink. So I ordered my $2.29 soda, two eggs, sausage links, bacon and pancakes. About 7 minutes later, I get my breakfast. I like that they put the pancakes on a separate plate. Keeps the syrup out of my eggs, bacon and sausage. They have a new fluffy pancake which was good, medium texture, not too dense and not too light. Definitely soaks up the syrup. Which, by the way, they only have one type of... The eggs were done correctly, just had to add a little salt and pepper. The links were warm and sweet to the taste. The bacon was cool and a little rubbery. Overall, I'll still come back, next year, but didn't find a reason to come back more often. Hope your experience is better than mine. Enjoy! read more

Wow-wee! Denny's makes a pretty tasty burger. I had the double cheese for lunch and it was a big ole juicy, wet, greasy, juicy. dripping juice thing. But man did it taste good! I came here for breakfast with a colleague while in LA for a meeting. We were seated promptly and our server quickly brought coffee, as we requested. This might seem peevish, but I can't tolerate extremely hot coffee, so I always ask for ice water so I can cool my coffee down. Our server didn't bring ice water until my second request, which was kind of a bummer since I couldn't drink my coffee for several minutes. The menu offers great variety- obviously Denny's is trying to compete with IHOP with regard to pancakes. They currently offer cinnamon roll pancakes as well as pumpkin pancakes, and some thing called "pumpkin puppies" which our server described as deep-fried pumpkin pancake-donut holes. Sounded interesting, but way too rich for breakfast. I also noted that an order of two cinnamon roll pancakes has 1350 calories, which seems outlandish. I ordered from the "$2-4-6 value menu," not because of the prices, but because the regular breakfasts looked like way too much food. My friend had a "build your own slam" that was $8.50. Just a Note: Most of the regular breakfasts are over $10. We both had plenty to eat. The food servings were generous, well-prepared, and served within about 10-15 minutes. Came here to pick up an order I made to go. I was craving some breakfast food, and when IHOP would not answer the phone, I had to come here to place an order. I order the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich that comes with a side of hash browns and it was delicious. I hear a lot of bad things about Denny's but my experience was great. I rarely complain about bad service but after having to endure a completely unacceptable and demoralizing dining experience, I am determined to reach out to fellow yelpers in an attempt to spare them of the atrocious conditions occurring in this "establishment" ( I use that word loosely). The table we were seated at was completely filthy, table and floor. The waiter was particularly rude and was not willing to substitute our request for fruit instead of meat, something that clearly shouldn't be an issue due to the cost of fruit being substantially cheaper than that of meat. To our disbelief, the waiter proceeded to take our order from his register and therefore shouting to us from across the room. The place was empty being that it was almost 4am but yet the order seemed as if it took hours to prepare and when it finally arrived, the plates where sloppy and not up to par with normal standards. Sticky mess in the booth some food was on the floor under the table, I ask the you woman can she just come wipe that up, and while she's doing that I noticed the food under the table not much just a few French fries some crayons, and spilt soda so I had to get someone's attention for that too, so after all that we were able to sit down to order our Breakfast so all that being said the food was good and the server Jose was great he checked on us time to time, ask is there anything else we needed, great attitude. 20% tip and then some. read more

closest Denny's to me. best thing about this Denny's is the Ranch dressing is consistent with all other Denny's, which means, it's DA BOMB! i'm glad some things don't change. late on a Saturday, this spot is popular for the drunks, like us. and the girl my wife ran into at the restroom making out with the shitter. kids these days. we got here earlier than most of the other drunks, around 130a. i ordered the beef skillet NO taters and mama had fries and the salad. salad came out quick along with her diet coke. fresh lettuce and cucumbers and tomatoes. fries came out shortly thereafter. my skillet on the other hand, the one with NO taters... 30mins. THIRTY FREAKING MINUTES??!?!? i don't even want to go into it. our server was a nice enough girl who kept us informed as to the delay on my food. not that i cared too much, but, i just bit my tongue. since i had nothing else to bite on... i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. we'll be back because it's the closest Denny's to me. and i don't like IHOP. read more

Came in around 10:45 AM on a Sunday morning. Figured it would be pretty busy and would have to wait for a little bit to get seated. When we got there, it was fairly busy, but there where about 7 empty tables. Seeing that, I gave them my name and asked how long the wait is. They told me 20-30 mins. Wait, what?! 30 mins wait and you have 7 empty tables?! So, I decided to wait and see how long it would actually take. Well, after 15 mins, we got seated at one of the tables that was empty when we first arrived. Wow! Service was pretty quick, but didn't get any refills. Food was service was pretty fast. As for the food: - Loaded Tater tots - These came out fast and hot. Aside from the tots being burnt, there were pretty yummy. - Slow-cooked Pot Roast - Roast was a bit dry and the potatoes has a spur taste to them. Portion was a bit small than other locations. - Bacon Gouda Burger - Aside from parts of the patty being well done (burnt) this was actually pretty flavorful. Overall, this is not a bad Denny's. I've been to some pretty and ones. Service is decently fast, just depends on if they are busy or not. Food is okay, for a diner restaurant. read more

Not typically one to write a bad review, but the customer service here is the worst I've experienced. From the beginning the manger spoke to my party and I in a very bad tone. When we requested a table for 9 he automatically shut us down and in a very rude way. We sat and waited for a waiter for a very long time. We finally decided to leave after being treated horribly and even the employees apologized on his behalf. Gave me a water with a fly on it. Asked for an extra plate and got a plate with food stains and still sticky. Servers pick up trash on floor, uses dirty rag to clean tables and then turns around and grabs food from the kitchen and serves it to customers without washing hands.. Omg! Chrystal was by far the best server I've dealt with. I came in at noon with my son and right away she made me feel so comfortable. She was extremely friendly with my son and even gave him extra crayons since he unfortunately broke his.
