Our waitress was prompt, friendly and pleasant and brought our coffee in a cute little pot that we could refill our cups, and when food from the kitchen was, ready delivered it hot. My biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage was good with plenty of sausage in the gravy. The biscuits were a bit dry, but ok. The eggs were a tad over done, but I ate them without complaining. I don't discriminate with the new restaurant of the week which can literally be a food cart to a nice restaurant and a gift card didn't hurt also. To my surprise the interior was nice with old pictures of Dennys through out the years and modern looking. I was seated right away and my server was very friendly and offered to take my food back because she could see my only request for the kitchen that was so simple didn't happen but it's all good. I ordered the country fried steak with 2 eggs, hash browns extra crispy and wheat toast. It's a shame that restaurant country fried steak has shrunk to a happy meal size but is is what is. The plate looked great overall but I and my server instantly saw the hash browns were not extra crispy. The eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The wheat toast had whole grains and buttered while hot with melted butter, lots of breakfast places fail at this and if you read my reviews it's a pet peeve of mine of cold toast and cold butter that is useless. The hash browns were real shredded potatoes undercooked and had that raw potato texture but at least they were real and if extra crispy would be so much better. The country fried steak was hot with a crunchy batter and cooked to order, nice. Overall for a Dennys with low stars/reviews it was modern looking , clean looking , pleasant server and fresh hot cooked breakfast nets this location a 4 star. I would definitely try another location to see if my experience is the same. Like most reviewers I can't rip on this location because unlike lots of places my food was hot cooked to order. read more

Dude I haven't been to Dennys in at least 9 months. So I was glad I could go here again. Anyways So I got the classic smoothie Strawberry and Banana smoothie. And for my meal I got the Cobb salad. This has, of course, the Denny's food that is available at all locations. What makes this one special is the level of attentiveness by the waitstaff. I appreciate it, because when I come in, I'm hungry! And I'd like to eat soon! Or I would be cooking at home. Generally have breakfast food, later at night, tho have gone in for just a dessert and coffee with a buddy who does the same- it's pretty quiet then. We don't get treated poorly for not ordering a full meal, which is nice. Desserts are meh, only because I always want pie and Denny's isn't a pie place. Prices are family friendly, budget friendly, they offer a veteran's discount, yay for me! And my usual "Dining at Denny's for Dinner" buddy. There is a senior menu Yay! I just tried the pancakes last week, they tasted a lot like IHOP, not soggy (pet peeve). Sausage links are dinky, tho pretty much expected for the price. Ambiance was Denny's, weeknight, always go in around 830 pm, so families, not at all like going to a raucous breakfast place at bar close on the weekend, I'm not sure if this is a 24 hour Denny's or not. The young lady serving us was wonderful ( sorry didn't get her name but she had glasses and was working Monday 8-31 at about 7pm). Anyway I ordered breakfast, being Dennys, that's there thing, right? Believe it or not, even though Denny's gets a bad rap, I have to say we had a good experience. After attending fall fest at state fair park, we decided to get a little something before we got home. The staff was shorthanded (as it is most everywhere), but they were doing their best! I noted that they had at least three people on duty. The hostess/server was very polite and attentive. Her cheery attitude, even though she worked through some adversity, really shined through. She made sure all of our needs were met, and this projected in her professionalism and enthusiasm. Went to this location Sunday afternoon. Originally I was going to go elsewhere as the reputation of certain restaurants in the area aren't good. My girlfriend and I decided to go anyways. When we get there an older lady laughed at our two matching sweatshirts and had her staff help us to our seats. Despite it being busy for a Sunday, the service from our waitress was excellent. She was young but very prompt and tentative to making sure we were happy with the food and service. We sat and notice another young server being very respectable and handling orders and we were pleased to see that. As far as our food, it was amazingly good and I mentioned to my girlfriend this is the best location by far I've been to. I had the build your own breakfast and my girlfriend had chicken fingers and fries. I had an awesome strawberry banana smoothie and it was so good. This is going to be one of my most interesting reviews. I went to this particular restaurant because of the respect of the name and how long Denny's Incorporated. Inc. has been in business. It doesn't matter what restaurant you speak of Denny's is on top of the list where people want to go and enjoy a good meal. Today was a good day, at Denny's. It just so happens that I was getting a four- set of tires installed on Blue ( ... our 2012 Blue Ford Taurus), when I needed to get some warm clothes and a meal. I didn't want to lose my place in line at Mr. P's Tires three businesses down ( Excellent place for TIRES...But that is another review...!) I went to Walmart then crossed the street back to Denny's. Went in and was promptly seated at a space of MY choice ( this is going well so far...). I had my seat and TWO, not one.. waitresses came over and introduced themselves rather cheerfully. I didn't even have to ask for the coffee and creme. They just knew. These were two senior citizen waitresses. They were an absolute trip! ( .... that means they were great). So they took my order, I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin, with two eggs over easy and a side of hash browns... I asked for two steaks on one plate. Pay attention to that part..... Now look.... 21 minutes later my food was piping hot. The sirloin was perfect. And the eggs were perfect. Everything was wonderful! Except for one thing: They ordered me TWO whole 8 oz. sirloin platters. With the eggs and hash browns!! Those ladies. All I could do was laugh. They hadn't realized what they had done, but they were so nice.... I ate the meals. They were excellent! Great people there. Excellent food. Prepared right. You can't beat that. I didn't post anything after the 1st time I came here (in September) because they're a new location and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. My husband and I went here for a second time last night and it was worse than the 1st time I was here :( The service was horrible and slow. Our waitress had no idea what she was doing and that was clearly evident. When we finally got our food, my eggs and bacon were cold. I told the waitress and asked for new ones. When a new plate of eggs and bacon came out, the eggs were nice and hot but the bacon was still cold. When we flagged down another waitress because we had no idea where ours went, the other waitress was very rude. I give it three stars because the place was clean and the manager did help solve the issues we had the best he could. read more

On February 7th I called in an order to the Denny's on Highway 100 and Layton. When I got home I realized that the order was wrong. I called back and spoke to the manager. He apologized over and over and told me he was going to make me another sandwich and bring it to my house. Within 20 minutes I had the sandwich that I originally wanted delivered by the manager of a restaurant. Now that is customer service. read more

Five stars is not enough I order through GrubHub. Food was still hot the burger was awesome. It was so awesome I had a look to try to find a place to put a review couldn't find nowhere so I took my time placed it on yup. I will not be eaten ordering another burger from anywhere else other than here. The restaurant is name Burger den is located at 4695 S. 108th St., Greenfield, WI. Unless you're very hungry do not order an extra patty on the burger says it was a whole meal the burger was cooked perfectly all right got the Swiss burger and I also ordered a bourbon burger thinking they was gonna be small but I had a cut the Swiss burger on the mushrooms burger and a half and eat it slowly because it was so good but I will be ordering know where else are eating anybody else's burger other than at the Burger den. read more

Very disappointing. My mom and I decided to stop here while running errands on this side of town, what a mistake. It started with our server Chelsea who seem to be more concerned about tables that had children then ours. We placed our order and waited 10 minutes for appetizer to arrive to the table. We were given no plates and I had to actually ask for an extra set of silverware that was not on the table. We waited another 20 minutes for our meals to arrive which was The crispy chicken salad and the chicken Philly. My sandwich was delicious however my mom's salad was disgusting. Stopped in for a quick lunch with my buddy. I ordered the classic grand slam eggs Over Easy, fried onions in the hash browns, & texas toast. My buddy ordered 2 eggs scrambled, easy on white toast. Food came out & the waitress said to my buddy the cook put onions in ur scrambled egg sandwich do u want them or I can take them back & make u new ones, he sent them back. The server then gave me my breakfast... worst breakfast ever! My Over Easy eggs borderline over hard, hash browns w/fried onions cooked in soggy with underfried onions on top, toast burnt. Went for my husbands birthday which in my mind, this will be my last time there. I had the grilled chicken with brussel sprouts as that sounded very good and they were as hard as a rock as I could not cut them with a knife or fork and they tasted bitter. The waitress offered to get me different ones but I said no. Also the cloth covers on the handles on the skittles were very dirty as they were the one other time we were there. When checking out I had asked if the brussel sprouts were fresh or frozen and the person said fresh as I'm thinking he was the manager and I gave him my concerns and he said nothing, just kept doing what he was doing in the cash register.
