When it's 2am and you're hungry-Denny's is the place to go (usually). I was so exhausted this night I could barely eat, and maybe that's a good thing? This place was empty (off the 5 in Irvine) and we had it to ourselves. We just got the slam (eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, sausage, and bacon). I ate a strip of bacon (yuck) and some hashbrowns (ok) and a peice of toasts (can't screw up toast). I've had better Denny's than this.... go elsewhere. read more

This is hands down the best Denny's I've ever been to. We sat on the patio and our server was Gustavo and he was absolutely incredible. I wanted juevos rancheros which is not on the menu but he was willing to make it for me . The food was excellent, and on par with some nicer restaurants, and obviously at a value. You should consider this place for any time you eat out as it's much nicer then other fast restaurants, and the service is outstanding! read more

Dennys chain as a whole is okay. But the service at this particular location is horrendous. We walk in and have a seat, no problem. Waiter takes our order. Our order took roughly 45 min to make a couple of easy sandwhiches. Ok, fine, no big deal. My fiance orders some ranch for her food, the waiter never comes out with it... In fact, he ignored us the entire night until we got his attention again to just get the check so we can leave. 10 min later, no check... We get up to leave cause we saw him come out a couple of times to just take orders. Then there is no one at the register so we can pay to leave. 10 min later, we paid the bill. But if you're looking for a place to eat and run, look no further than this Denny's. Their staff won't even notice. read more

Like most people who like to get their drink on (or happen to have insomnia), I am no stranger to Denny's. I have been to plenty of Denny's and I know what to expect. This is certainly not the best Denny's in the area. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. When it arrived it was practically charred black and the waitress said the cook was making a new one for me (I didn't even have to ask, the waitress was super nice). The new one was straight out of a microwave, therefor it did not taste like chicken fried chicken, but microwave "fried" chicken. It was rubbery and tough and not crunchy like it usually is. The French toast was alright. Also I ordered 2 eggs over medium, but I did not eat them because there was a serious funk about them. They just tasted creepy. I happened to be sober during this visit, but even if I was wasted I would have still known the food was jacked up. read more

I know giving Denny's 5 stars seems a bit much. But this Denny's earned these stars. We were in town for a soccer tournament and we had a party of 15. At the same time a party of 40, and two parties of 20 showed up. They had us all sat in 15 minutes and all the drinks and food brought in a very timely manner. Our server Jorge was amazing. Communication/language problem with inattentive employees.

They served me fast and had a reasonable price for a nice sized omelette compared to a lot of places that serve small omelettes, which is an inexpensive food to make. They always let me sub the sides with healthier options. I usually come here every once in a while but Yesterday around 1:00 a.m I saw the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed in a restaurant. We went here because it was late and theres no other place open at 11. So I told hubby what the heck ...I am so starving that even Mc Donalds will taste good. I went to this establishment for the first time today and man oh man, the amount of negligence I received. The waiter Melissa, did not take my order. She went around the table (there were 6 of us), asking everyone what they wanted to eat. Although I was sitting in the middle, Melissa did not ask me what I wanted. I usually have average expectations for Denny's, but today I received over the top service, and that too at a great price! I arrived at peak brunch hour with a party of 5 (and a dog). We were seated immediately, and our food came much faster than even the usual waiting time for an average Denny's visit. I came here on the 4th of July with my mom and we were greeted outside by a manager. The service was amazing and everyone was super friendly. Something else I love about this Denny's that is unique is that hardly any customers were on their phones. People were present and enjoying each other's company. Also, the tables next to us were talking like longtime friends even though they just met. I love the vibe and atmosphere of this Denny's. They are doing a great job!!! Our server was nice. we went around 8 p.m. to eat on a Friday Night. My daughter ordered the peanut butter and chocolate pancakes that she had been craving. Instead of coming back to tell us that they did not have any peanut butter, they brought her plain pancakes, which she was disappointed were plain. We sent them back and ordered something else. I ordered the nachos , when they came to my table, there were so many onions I told the server I couldn't eat that many onions. and, where was the beef ? so, we had to send that back to the grill. We ordered the skillet with chicken, red potatoes , brocoli and cheese. - it was so hot being served on the skillet, it took forever to cool down. in the meantime, the server took forever to come back to fill up our glasses of water.
