This Dennys is located inside the Flying J. I have dined there several times when I've been in Kingman in the past and it was alway good. This last time however, the staff was exceptional, the food was excellent and they even have a gluten free menu! The manager Mary was very knowledgeable about gluten and managed the cooking of my food. The staff including Debbie, Jade and the cook went out of their way to make sure I received a gluten free meal. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended it! read more

Not so good. Seems like the staff doesn't care about how they present themselves to the customers. Food is average. Cooks get pissy if you send back food for being over cooked. Management seems like they don't care. Sad read more

After we were seated we waited over 15 minutes just to get our drink order taken. Others who came in after us were well on their way to finishing their meal. Then we waited another 30 to 45 minutes to get only half of our order. It was cold rubbery eggs and potatoes. Meanwhile our waitress is laughing and having a great time with others instead of just doing her job. Finally I told the manager who tried to remake our order and got the rest of our order but got it wrong. Never going back to that dennys. read more

Perhaps one of worst Denny's Restaurants I've eaten in. However unfortunately, it's better than most restaurants in Kingman. Lower grade of food than is expected from a Denny's, much too much grease, and rarely prepared the way asked for.Never enough waitresses on duty, and if there is a crowd, forget it. read more

Worst dennys experience ever. Food was mediocre, but its the service that was horrible. Came with a party of 11 people Waitress: TRISH Some of us ordered and when food came out, i didn't receive my food. I simply thought it was taking them a bit longer to cook my food so I opt to wait a bit. My friend noticed that he received the wrong sides and I noticed that his sides were actually my sides. We asked the waitress about the sides and my order and she says that she skipped over my order and mixed up the sides. HOW CAN YOU SKIP OVER AN ORDER BUT MIX THE SIDES FROM THAT SAME ORDER. Didn't even apologize or offer to fix my friend's side. When my order came, it didn't even have my sides. I had my friends sides. WE TOLD YOU THE SIDES WERE MIXED UP AND YOU DIDN'T BOTHER CHANGING IT AFTER YOU PUT IN MY ORDER 20MIN LATE. What can i say about this waitress... It was a long day and we were tired so didn't feel like complaining about it to the manager. But later on, when the rest of my group ordered, this TRISH messes up my friend's order and tried to pinpoint the blame on my friend. We had to slowly guide her baby steps for her to realize her mistake. Lastly, when we were all paying, we chose to order separately at the beginning of the meal but SOMEHOW, this Trish got our transactions mixed up and charged me for my late meal, and my friend, who ordered 30min after everyone else ordered. Honestly, how dumb must you been to tack an person's order to someone else's order who ordered 30min prior. Word of advice. If TRISH is serving you, ask for another waitress cause TRISH is incompetent to do the basic job of a waitress and save yourself a headache. read more

Food was good and our waitress was exceptional. We went on the 20th ... inauguration day. Both tvs had cnn on... we asked if we could put fox news on, our waitress said sorry management will only allow cnn, i then asked to speak to said manager and he said sorry thats my manager (Rocky) orders. No compromise, the customer in the booth next to us agreed and said they would stop coming here. Its kind of pathetic in my book, my husband and I come here 2 to 3 times a week!!! This is not Rocky's home, this is a place of business where the customers wishes should at least carry a little weight . With 2 t.v's there is no valid reason for them both to be on cnn. read more

Stopped for lunch at Denny's on Andy Divine Street ( not the one inside the J truck stop). As we waited to be seated, a customer was speaking to the female manager about how long she waited for her cake - and was leaving! We were then seated and while looking at the menu ( seemed expensive) we asked for water & and some lemon---- the waitress said, "oh, we charge 49cents for lemon in water glasses"!! We simply got up from the booth & walked out! Went next door to Arby's & was greeted at the door, had a very tasty sandwich & coffee for about half the cost of Denny's & a more friendly, receptive group of employees!! Place was also very clean! Heard a manager tell other employees to do a halfa$$ job so a young man she must have disliked and wants to quit(?) could pick up the slack and do his and their job of cleaning and bussing tables .I go to Dennys a lot mostly to the Flying J Dennys but change it up on occasion and think this young man has been around 2 or 3 months .It shocked me that a manager would bully and encourage others to do the same When i tried to Email Corporate it insisted on the Store # which isn't the address so i couldn't address this there.I will keep going to the Flying J Dennys read more

Went for dinner and ordered the beef skewer. I asked the waitress could I have it cooked medium rare. She stated they come in already cooked medium well. Wow. My daughter's boyfriend got the chicken fried steak. It was a frozen patty. I decided to order the soup, which was suppose to be beef vegetable. Out of a can. 4 pieces of beef in the bowl. We've been here twice on our from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon. The staff was really friendly and the food was fresh and very good. With all the fast food restaurants around the area, this had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We liked it so much we came back on out tour back from Grand Canyon. read more

Great people work here! I spent some time here on New Years Eve. I was blown away by how the staff is so kind, friendly - and such hard workers!!! We ate there on Christmas day, they were about the only restaurant in the area that was open, so we didn't have much choice as to where to eat. Because of this the restaurant was quite busy but we were seated within 3-4 minutes. The hostess was also the cashier so she was serving double duty which made the wait longer. When seated we were greeted by our waitress who said she would be right with us. She quickly returned and asked what we wanted to drink, I asked for water and my wife ordered hot tea. Another waitress quickly brought us two waters but we had to wait several minutes for the tea. We then ordered, we wanted to split the double cheese burger on a whole wheat bun with crispy French fries. We waited at least 15 minutes for our meal, and when we did receive it it came on a regular bun and with a meager serving of limp and cold fries. The waitress said she would be back shortly with some fresh and hot fries, for which we waited about 10 minutes for. At that time we asked for a side of mayo, which we never did get. The burger meat was hot and tasty, but the bun was not what we had ordered. The fries that were brought later were hot, but not good at all. They too were not served crispy as we ordered and tasted greasy. Denny's is touting crinkle fries, and in the picture on the menu of course looked delicious and so did the burger. Neither item even remotely looked like the menu picture when they arrived at the table. The tomato was non existent and there was only one slice of cheese on the burger, not two as shown on the menu. I could go on, but you get the idea. When we went to pay at the cashier stand, the cashier was dealing with trying to straighten out a check for another customer so we stood in line with other customers trying to pay. When it was my turn to pay the cashier asked how our meal was and I told her it was terrible. She looked shocked that someone would say such a thing and I explained why. She told me to wait and immediately left the area and went back into the kitchen, apparently. After several minutes she returned and said there would be no charge and wish us a Merry Christmas. I told her I would be happy to pay but she said no. It would have been nice if the manager would have come out so we could have explained our situation to him/her. We then left, very disappointed in the whole experience. We would not recommend and will not return. As consumers we feel that even when a restaurant is busy that the food and service should be consistent and a decent value. This was not the case here. read more
