Rating 2.5 because although the servers seemed as if they were working pretty hard, coming at 10:30 on a Sunday night with as many customers that were already there it seems as if they were understaffed... The servers definitely had a lot on their plates. My food was mediocre, wasn't all that but it is just Dennys... Did notice that my food was waiting at the counter for a while but again it was pretty busy for only 2 servers to be on the floor at the time. Waiter Garett seemed as if he really was trying his best and trying to be a good server but we didn't appreciate his sarcastic attitude towards us. Called for his attention while dining and we caught him rolling his eyes when all we wanted was a glass of water. (And that's just one of many remarks we caught...) but props to you Garett. read more

Service was super slow. It looked like all the waitresses except for sue were standing around talking to each other. Sue did her best to serve multiple tables while taking care of tables who weren't hers. It took 30 minutes for someone to take our order then another 30 to receive our food. Very, very disappointed I ordered a bacon avocado burger with No cheese, bacon or mayo, sub meat patty with a veggie patty and a whole wheat bun. They gave me a meat burger not a veggie burger. I let the waitress know and she said she would take care of it. I heard her tell the cook repeatedly the order. When I got the new burger it was missing veggies like the avocado and the veggie patty was mushy like mashed potatoes and cold. I had to turn the burger back. The fact that two cook in a restaurant that was not Busy could not get my order right after all that is disappointing to say the least. I ordered through Grub Hub. I ordered the build your on burger with the beyond burger and a coke that was $32.00 (including delivery). When it arrived it had a beef patty on top of the beyond patty so I couldn't eat it. Grub Hub refunded me $15.61 but I'm disappointed because I couldn't eat my food so had to pay $16.39 for nothing. I'm too sick to leave to get anything else and now have to be hungry until dinner. I gave the food to my dogs but I won't be using Grub Hub or ordering Denny's again. read more

so usually when I go into this Denny's I get mediocre service, but lately it has been different. Today I ordered door Dash with my friend and our door Dash delivery driver got into a mishap and was unable to deliver our food. after contacting the Denny's that we ordered from on door dash, they were more than happy to deliver the food themselves and the manager brought it all the way to my house when I live 15-20 minutes away. I was not expecting him to do that, after today I will have a whole new outlook on this Denny's location. I will always be happy and proud to order from here now. read more

Not sure of the bad reviews..the customer service is exceptional and honestly, I feel for the employees here because the customers here are loud and rude. We have been coming here lately instead of going to ihop. For one it's closer, for two..way better deals and way better breakfast! French toast here is bomb! I didn't even have to put anything on my scramble eggs! However, my beyond burger was terrible this time. Last time was phenomenal! This time they made some mistakes with it but management was happy to fix it. Our server Danny was good and I don't know her name but she has blonde hair and I believe is a manager..she was on top of everything, had a very kind and professional demeanor even with the lady that was screaming for her waitress and making rude comments due to the screaming child. ATTENTION PARENTS- Don't not let your children use the restrooms by themselves. My teenage son walked in on two men shooting up herion in front of the sink, needle and spoon in plain site! I brought it up to a male buser in hops he would go in there to address the issue, but sadly he did not. The men both returned to their table, needle cap on the table, ate their food and left. Very sad and even sadder that my son had to be a witness of such an act while we were their to eat dinner. Food was very good however the service lacks professionalism, courtesy and concern. At first our waiter seemed fine but once we ordered we noticed he was a in somewhat of a huff. Once our senior meals were served to us, our waiter NEVER came back to refill our coffee or to see if anything else was needed. My husband thought he may have had too many tables to service but I'm not too sure it was that. When we paid, he never said thank you and I even left him a 20% tip and still he said nothing. He didn't say have a good night, glad you enjoyed your meal, or even see you soon again etc...no smile in anyway. Strange man needs another line of work. Customer service isn't for him. It was about 1020p on Thursday 7/7. We felt it bothered him that we ordered from the senior menu. Since by bariatric (weight loss) surgery I can't eat much so children and senior size plates fill me just fine. My husband try's eating the same to shed a few pounds too. I know I don't need to say this but if he was judging us then shame on him. I wish it were possible to give less than a star, this place deserves it. I knew I was in trouble when a lady came up looking like a clown with blond hair and red tips on it in an arrangement that looked like little trees. She came to me and that is when I realized that she worked there. She asked me how I placed my order and did not seem to get that I ordered online. Once she and a coworker went to the back and I could see them arguing and slamming down receipts, the hair lady emerged and began running across the parking lot after someone. Another lady came and questioned me again, asking my name, how did I order. We are now 15 minutes past my pick up time. The second lady emerged telling me that she had my order together and had all my butter and syrup. One problem, I did not order pancakes or anything else that required butter or syrup. I told her the pancakes she gave me were not mine. No problem she says...she began taking the pancakes out. She left butter and syrup in my bag with chicken fingers, chicken burrito and hard fried chicken "tenders" that should be called CHICKEN ROCKS. I had to ask for ranch dressing, bar b que sauce and marinara sauce for my sampler platter. Further, when I got home, I did not have celery sticks and the chicken burrito was not edible. I will NEVER go here again. Just like the post office in the Shell station, UPS store on Grape, the Tmobile, nearby, you cannot get good service in this area. My initial attempt was to get delivery. They said they delivered 7 am to 3 am. Wrong. The website rejected my request and said they were closed. I had to reenter the order for a pick up. I called to speak to the manager the next day and no one answered. I will go to Dennys in Wildomar next time. Avoid this Dennys. You will regret doing business here. read more

May be a few years too late, but this review is well deserved and it's time I share such a great story that all should experience. My friend and I had the pleasure of having Janet as our server awhile back and she is an absolute treasure. To this day, my friend and I still talk about her - that's how memorable our experience was. Not only did she provide great service, but she did so in a way that just made you smile and adore her. One example being we ordered an Apple Pie. Not sure how it got to this point but she exclaimed in excitement, "I'm going to make your Apple Pie look pretty!" and ran away. A few minutes later the pie arrived and man... did it look pretty! Best apple pie ever. Again, to this day, my friend and I will see an apple pie and say "Janet would make that apple pie look pretty!". Wow, what a way to leave a great, memorable impression with your guests, Janet. My friend and I will soon come visit you again and enjoy a pretty apple pie once more. I hope you are still at this Denny's location, because you are an absolute delight! read more

Ordered take-out tonight at this Denny's in Lake Elsinore. Ordered a steak Cobb salad & Super bird Sandwich with a side salad. What we received was a to go box containing only a small handful of lettuce. Only Lettuce. Wait....Only lettuce?!? ONLY LETTUCE!!!! Not a crouton, tomato, veggie or any other salad condiment in sight. How does that constitute being a garden side salad?!? Or any other type of salad? As for the steak Cobb salad at least there were SOME items included, a quarter of an egg, pinch of cheddar (?) cheese and less than 3oz of steak. No bacon. No Avocado. Not a Cobb salad then. Absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention the ridiculous task of having to walk the hostess Amanda through placing our order in the first place. How hard is it to look at the pictures of menu items on your computer screen and touch the picture? I should've taken that as a omen and turned on my heels right then and walked out the door. I just called them now, spoke with manager Julie and she was less then sympathetic nor offered to remedy the issue except that she'd 'talk to her manager in the morning' & seeing how she 'didn't see our food, she can't verify it and we didn't bring it back in to show' her. Mind you, we ordered this TO GO, we're now gone and a half an hour away. This Denny's is awful. I saw the bad reviews, but family chose to go here anyway. Our server Samuel did the best he could, but he just couldn't do everything.
