The large ring of sausage (I'm told the serving averages out at a full pound) is expertly chargrilled and boasts a complex flavor profile combining herbs, spice and just the right amount of fat. The accompanying lentils are a hoot -- quite wonderfully cooked to mimic campfire baked beans, their sweet, tomatoey taste profile being the perfect foil for the charred sausage, evoking the most upscale expression imaginable of franks & beans. This is just a winner, though the portion is enormous and really should be shared. I very much wanted dessert, as I imagine their Basque Cheesecake or Butterscotch Budino would be fantastic, but I just didn't have room for another bite.
