OUTSTANDING! This is hands down the best Denny's in the Long Beach area. We had an absolutely stellar experience at this location. Our host, Josue, gave us a very warm welcome and was super attentive to our needs. He was the BEST! I can't say enough wonderful things about him. The staff treated us phenomenally, with the upmost care and kindness/hospitality. In addition, the Manager, Alejandra, was just FANTASTIC! She checked in with us constantly to make sure everything was going smoothly. Her managerial skills are EXCELLENT! She was so sweet and helpful to us. A true leader! They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was magnificent in all aspects. NOW the good stuff, the food! We ordered a chicken and sausage quesadilla (a la carte), an omelet, and the All American slam. They were kind enough to make me an off menu item (quesadilla), which I LOVE! I have to leave a 5 stars review! We just left the restaurant! It was our first time here and the experience was amazing. Sadly, they were short staff. Despite the fact that there were only one waitress and one chef, foods still came out a lot faster than most dennys with full staff. And most importantly, they did not short us on customer service either. The waitress was very very friendly and we can tell she's doing her best. We did our part and tip well and I can only hope other customers would do the same!! read more

Driving down PCH I started to get hungry, I checked Yelp for a local breakfast spot and I found Dennis. The lady was really nice on the phone, I stopped in and picked up my to go order and my food was super yummy. If you want breakfast lunch or dinner I personally recommend this Denny's. read more

Denny's is always so clutch when me and my boyfriend are craving breakfast or diner food late in the night! I usually love getting the skillet and it always come out sizzling hot! Sometimes I feel like eating something sweet and I love how their pancake puppies change in flavors and I always get excited to try new flavors. FORSURE TRY THE SEASONED FRIES. Theyre thinner than their regular fries and are always so crispy. Love it with bleu cheese or ranch! Service is usually alright, theyre usually nice people but can go a while without checking up on you! Usually I have to flag them down to get a refill on my water. And it would have been nice if they told me that we have to go to the register to pay... after we received our check we were waiting for literally 20 minutes until we decided to ask them to take our check only for them to say we need to go to the register. So we wasted almost half an hour for a whole situation that could have been avoided. So, since I was out late w a friend - I wanted to grub some! He suggested Denny's. At first I smirked a little. Denny's! Really? But, he mentioned Dulce De Leche Pancakes! I was in! I do know that Denny's has some good pancakes! Say what you will - they are good!! It comes topped with a cinnamon ice cream!! I ordered a double burger w some bourbon sauce. I never got the sauce and the burger was WAAY overcooked. I found out from my friend that unless you mention the temp you want for your burger - the cook it WELL DONE! Not good guys - this is for management - not good!! If anything make sure the meat is cooked to MEDIUM so there is no red and the meat is still juicy. It's not like Denny's uses low-fat or lean meat - so burgers should never be dry!! My friend ordered an omelette and was happy. Another SAFE option. And why not? If you know what's good at a place - why temp fate? Eat what they're known for! There was only one cook - so I'm guessing someone called in sick.
