I have been coming to this Denny's forever!!! I'm so surprised I never did a review. However, I have no complaints with this location. Today I ordered the multi-grain slam w/ bacon, and it was beyond amazing! Made to perfection and fresh. 5/5 for my food!! The service was also exceptional!!! We had Toolya and she's always amazing and gives perfect service. Also, she never forgets anything. Come and make sure to get her. The ambiance is cool and decent. It's setup like a diner and is clean. Typical Denny's atmosphere and colors. I highly recommend this location, if you want good quality food and cooked fresh. Side note: they take AARP :) -Marshay D.

Trying the Slamburger for the first time. This Denny's hosts our LUG every other Saturday. José always takes good care of us. Staff is friendly. Food is generally very good.

Carmen and Jose were very welcoming and made sure everything was great with us! Constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was good with our meal and if we needed anything else. The resteraunt was very clean, and the food was great. The cinnamon pancakes are my go-to, they are very good!

Just realized how did I not visit Denny's anytime sooner? I made a stop on a Friday morning since I was craving pancakes. Upon walking into the restaurant, the ambiance is moderate busy, not too loud and waiters are quick. The staff assisted me and walked me over to my table right away. They currently have breakfast promos and they have a rewards program as well. I decided to go with the "super slam" and a side of their pumpkin pecan pancakes. My coffee tasted delicious and the refills kept coming. I always order my eggs sunny side up because I love poking into the yolk and making a mess. The pancakes were so fluffy, buttery, soft, delicious full of flavor; pecans and pumpkin. 5/5 Once I was ready to go, the waiter offered coffee-to-go and I accepted it. What a way to serve your customers. This location is great, plenty of parking in a large lot and friendly service at Denny's.

Food took a while to come out, Waiter was nice and very responsive. This place is close to church so it's very busy on Sundays. Me and Jhoanna waited about 25 minutes for food to come out. The eggs were over cooked and dry. The sausage and bacon were cooked to perfection as well for the hash browns. The pancakes were okay... burnt on the bottom. I recommend this place to people who aren't picky and who have a strong appetite for a subpar selection of breakfast items!

Jose is the nicest! Great food and fast service. Always here for SVG LUG and they are so nice to accommodate us.

Yelp Review - Denny's Northridge (Visited July 13 at ~12:30pm I'm deeply disappointed to be writing this review. My mother and I have been coming to this Denny's in Northridge since 1978 -- back when I was a child, and now as adults with our own kids. It's been a multigenerational tradition. Sadly, today may have been our last visit. We came in around 12:30 PM and were seated by who I believe was the manager, Jose, near the kitchen area in a booth. We waited nearly 10 minutes with menus in hand and no acknowledgment from any server. Finally, a Filipino waitress with no name tag approached us. I said, "Finally someone's here. I thought you all were on strike," in a lighthearted but truthful way to express our frustration. Instead of a smile or reassurance, we got a curt attitude in return. She brushed it off, saying they were busy. We mentioned we were hungry, and she responded in an impatient, almost annoyed tone. Her demeanor felt rushed, brash, and impersonal from the start. We ordered two Grand Slams. I believed I was ordering the $10.99 Grand Slam advertised on the poster in the window, but I was charged nearly $20 for mine. I also asked for decaf coffee for my mom -- she brought regular. When I told her about the mistake, she didn't apologize and just walked off to get another without much care. I requested that we place our to-go order after eating so the food wouldn't get cold, but she never came back to take it. Every time I asked for something, it felt like a burden to her. The coffee was cold, and when I brought it up, she shrugged and rushed away. Her communication was unclear, and unfortunately, the language barrier made it harder to connect. Eventually, after waiting another 10-15 minutes for the check and not seeing her again, I had to go up to the front to speak to Jose. His attitude wasn't much better. When I asked about the Grand Slam pricing, he gave me a dismissive explanation, almost as if I were a child, and acted like I should have just accepted the mistake. No apology, no effort to make things right. Instead, he backed up the waitress completely, giving the impression that our complaint was just a nuisance. We spent over $52 and left feeling like we weren't valued at all. I work as an executive healthcare recruiter and home health specialist and have strong relationships with over 40 care facilities. I make it a point to recommend businesses that treat customers with care and respect. Unfortunately, I'll be warning my network to steer clear of this Denny's and consider alternatives like IHOP across the street -- where the service has consistently been friendlier and more professional. It's truly disheartening to be treated this way after decades of loyal patronage. We left church this morning talking about loving our neighbor -- and it's incredibly hard to do that when you're met with rudeness, neglect, and arrogance. Denny's corporate needs to take a hard look at what's happening at this location. Poor service, unqualified management, and a dismissive attitude are a recipe for losing loyal customers like us. We won't be returning. - Albert V.

I've been coming to this Denny's for a while and I've never been disappointed. I love that they are open 24 hours and the service is always fast! I usually get the build your own slam where you can pick 4 from a variety of options. It's perfect to satisfy any late night breakfast cravings! From the colors to the booths, Denny's always has such a classic feel to it.

Nothing succeeds like excess. In fact, most people will need a take out box for one less meal to cook. Delicatessen means delicate eating in German, but at a Jewish American Delicatessen, the emphasis is on the Eating, which I am not complaining. 1) I requested an off menu item of having a Reuben sandwich where half is Corned Beef and the other Pastrami. Brent's Reuben has warm Sauerkraut, grilled Rye bread, melted Swiss Cheese, 1,000 Island dressing. Thinly sliced, multi-layered Mound of Pastrami is a bit on the dry side. Curing doesn't create a deep meaty Umami and spicing is present but attenuated. The Corned Beef is moister with bit more Umami & plush, thin multi-layered red colored meat. I have to say the Pastrami at Langer's is cured more intensely to bring out a deep Umami as well as more complex and complementary spicing of especially warm spiced cloves that adds aromatic richness. Brent's Pastrami doesn't seem to reach that kind of apotheosis. 1b) I asked for the steak fries to be fried two minutes longer for a crisper finish which was honored. Not much in way of that distinctive potato earthiness, but acceptable. 1c) Coleslaw is mayonnaise based, watery, bland, but a good cruciferous, fibrous veggie to add more fibre, healthful phytochemicals to counter the meat overload even though it isn't flavourful 2) Carrot Cake is closer to a delicate, dense, moist spice cake. A slice is enormous since it is cut from an extra tall cake studded with crushed walnuts and a cream cheese like not too sweet frosting. At $14 it could feed 4 people. Service is fine. They take your order and run with it. Bit of tunnel vision where it may be a bit hard to flag them down. But the job does get done. Overall 3+ stars

Nothing shouts out at us to give the food an upstanding 5/5, but this is still a solid pick for an American diner. Note that if you order anything with strawberries (including the fruit cup), you will get exactly 1 strawberry cut into 4 pieces to ration during your meal. Service: 2.5/5 There is one person manning the floor the majority of the time, and he does a good job managing multiple tables. We came in at 9 am on a workday and there were already 25 people in the restaurant, all managed by this one waiter. There is another person who pops in every now and then to deliver food and refill coffee. That said, don't expect to be checked in on often or to quickly get your order in. Also, special requests may or may not be satisfied-- I requested that the whipped cream in my waffle order came on the side, only for it to come right in the middle of my waffle. Atmosphere: 4/5 It's a lively place! This is a popular and long lasting restaurant for a reason. The music is not loud, and there is a comfortable amount of space between each table.
