Not the best service. Food was slow and cold. They do have good pancakes however needed more butter. They are very friendly.

We entered the location and noticed it was a little warm, it was around 100 outside. We were first sat near the front we asked if we could move further back. It was much cooler than the front of the restaurant. The waitress came and took our order which took over 30 minutes to come to our table, which is fine. But during this long wait she never came to check if we needed any refills. We did order one appetizer, which were wings. The wings were a bit overcooked and barely sauced. We had also ordered nachos which the chips were stale. At this point we had been waiting long for our food so we began eating. My son finished his food and asked if I could order him an egg. The waitress never came to check on us. We needed napkins, refills, and wanted to order an additional item. We proceeded to finish our food but a bit annoyed. When finished my daughter wanted a box to take her leftovers. We waited another 15 minutes and still the waitress did not come by. At this point we just got up to leave. I had to walk up to the front counter to ask for my receipt to pay. As I asked the cashier processed it as if I had paid cash which I was going to use my card. She had to get another person to help her correct the issue. I finally paid. But our experience had a lack of service. No follow up from the waitress. We had no refills, could not order additional items, did not bring leftovers, stale food, never brought our receipt to pay. I will not be returning to this location. Also the location was not very crowded to say they were to busy with other tables. We had originally stopped at the Downtown Redlands location but that location was even hotter, maybe service may have been better. read more

I never knew this Denny's was here. It's tucked away, off the Main Street and HWY 10. It looked like a Truck-stop area, so I wasn't expecting the Fireball of sunshine and energy that greeted us at the door while rushing with a huge tray of food over his head. Without missing a beat Juan grabbed menus and instructed for us to follow him. He got us to our booth with new firm seat cushions, and said that he would be back as soon as he delivers the full try of food that he still effortlessly still had over his head. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered all sausage, I got bacon & sausage. This was a fast & easy fix. I don't know where this man gets his energy and great positive personality; but it will bring us back!! Would I be wrong to get his work schedule first??? LOL read more

I would give this place a zero if I could. They had more than enough employees working there and completely ignored my children as well as other couples waiting to be seated. We waited a good 15 minutes waving around at the employees to be seated and were never acknowledged. The employees seemed extremely frustrated and confused by what they were doing and looked like one of the most mismanaged places I'd ever seen. Don't bother going here unless it's dead, they won't know how to help you if they have more than 5 people to serve. Terriblely managed place, surprised it is still in business. The Denny's in Yucaipa closed for poor service, suppose this one will be next. I will continue going to I-HOP, they are WAY better in service and quality of food. read more

OK I have given this place multiple shots, but I am confident they don't like to serve the LGBTQ community!! I get tired of being sat it in the back without any menu while the servers walk past looking at us but never actually serving us. My husband and I regularly visit the Denny's located on Alabama St, Redlands CA and enjoy the food and ambiance there. But one thing that keeps drawing us back are the servers. A new server with whom we've formed a friendship is Rachel. Rachel is not only good at her job, making every effort to make the people she serves happy, but she's also very personable and you can tell that it's genuine. I went in tonight at 9:20pm and two women greeted me and my bf. We said a table for two and they said" Oh were closed. " we said "you guys close at 10pm" the two female servers said " we're closing already " while their were two guests on separate tables still eating. We said we can take it to go and still a no. I am a regular at this dennys and this was the worst by far. People don't want to work anymore and it's mind blowing since we were only going to get a stack of pancakes with the moons over my hammy sandwich. Stopped by after work because I was craving pancakes for some reason on a Friday night. I was seated quickly. I got the lumberjack an upgraded to the cinnamon roll pancakes. My girlfriend got a Bacon Avocado burger with seasoned fries. Both tasted great, the cinnamon roll pancakes will definitely satisfy if you have a sweet craving. Very quick service. We were in, got our food, ate it, and got out, all in about 40 minutes, which I thought was super quick for a Saturday morning. The food was great, and you can't beat the prices. My husband and I both ordered off the $2-$4-$6-$8 menu. The $8 Grand Slam Slugger comes with orange juice AND coffee, so we didn't even order extra drinks. Everything was delicious, which is especially impressive knowing that our total check was less than $20. I regret not checking yelp before picking this place! The service was slow even when they were not busy. The food took way too long to come out and it was cold. The bathrooms smelled horrible (women's/men's) and were disgusting. When it came time to pay my mothers portion was $13.27, she gave the lady $20.27 and the lady did not know how to give back proper change. Typical Dennys. Food was excellent and service outstanding. I was in a party of four. We got seated right away and served within 10 minutes . Especially nice since they were very busy. The lady refused to let me read the entire order to her for verification. When I returned home I was shorted one item. I called back very upset and her attitude was not good. After seeing another persons review on this place and the shadow people inside I feel so validated. I can't remember the last time I was able to have a peaceful meal here without the shadow people glaring at me and whispering to each other. The sense of impending doom is overwhelming when I'm in the same room as them, I don't even want to imagine what they'd do if I looked directly at them. Over all I'd give this dennys a solid 4/5. I see a few bad reviews stating bad service but when i come in every time and sit down it's as if some customers come with a bad attitude and take it out on the servers. And then find any ridiculous reason to write bad reviews which I feel isn't right. But I give this location a 5 star. It's hard to find quality service these days. A heads up.... When going to a public restaurant, please be grown and understanding that servers have more than one table to deal with. So be considerate as if it was you serving your those tables. Be happy that we all have the freedom to have somewhere to sit down and eat instead of being so ungrateful. If u can't be patient, then stay home! read more

I confess I really like Denny's: the menu is consistent across the nation, the comfort food menu is familiar and tasty, and it's open 24/7 for someone like me. This particular location has been my favorite for 30 years-we used to come here after we got off our own serving shifts back when it had a lounge, and then after concerts in Devore when the amphitheater was built, I've even reserved their meeting room for occasional community and club meetings. But I have to say I'm disappointed with tonight's experience, enough so that I think instead of going out of my for this particular location, I'll just stick to a location closer to home. The good: it's been my experience this location is always clean and in good repair: the recent redecorating looks great, very welcoming. The restroom was clean, the tables, plates, and utensils are all clean, and the staff all look very presentable. The bad: it's 9pm on a Sunday night, I'm one of maybe 5 parties with at least two servers splitting the floor, and I've been sitting here with an empty coffee cup and empty water glass while my server chats with a couple at the register. She's not even cashing them out-the other server has come up to take care of her table that's paying, as well as to seat the waiting party. That's some pretty bad service. And to top it off, when I came in I asked about being seated at a location with an available outlet because my phone is running low. I was told there are no outlets available in the store. Really. Also, this location used to have WiFi, always a nice touch, but apparently no longer offers that amenity. All in all, while the food is fine and the decor is lovely, there's just nothing to encourage me to go out of my way for this locale again. read more
