The manager greeted us right away and was super nice. Lily was a really nice server and took good care of us. Little slow some times but really was there when we needed refills and such. Came in here for dinnner with my kids on Saturday night. Service took forever..... I had a waitress who was truly husseling, but when you have only three waiters and a full house (wasnt when arrived buy by the time we got our food it was) you have some problems. There was a guy waiter who stuck to his corner on the other side of the resturant and didnt try to help out. Then the rest of the resturant was full with one waitress who was taking her sweet time and our waitress who was trying to do about 10 full tables by herself. It took about 45 minutes to get our food for four people, then another 15 to get my plain ole' coffee. I mean come on, help the poor waitress out and get her some help. The only reason I gave this place two stars was because the girl deserved one for the effort its not her fault this place is understaffed. Needless to say I wont be coming back here. It took us about a year to come back to this Denny's due to the bad service we received, including a hair in my food, But we came back with the hope that things have changed but apparently nothing has changed. So here we go: we get there and and get seated within 15 minutes (so that's good) our waitress takes our order with in in 10 min (that's good also). While we're waiting, we look up we see the following : the waitress and the cooks arguing with each other, the customers getting frustrated with the amount of time their food was taking and some were even leaving. It was just a bad atmosphere to be around in, poor waitresses were also getting frustrated. So we get the food after a while and when the waitress brings us our food , I ask her if I can speak to the manager and she said yes and so we start eating and we come to find out that my daughters mac and cheese is cold and so the waitress takes it back to to the kitchen and once again I ask for the manager. The waitress tells the manager and the manager sends a waitress to handle the issue, I tell the waitress that I want the manager. So the manager finally decides to come out and talk to me and so I start to Express my frustration with this place and then when my daughter starts to let him know her frustration, he cuts her off. While I'm talking to this guy he cuts me off by calling me amigo (which is racial profiling) I stopped him cold and told him not to call me amigo and that I wanted the owner's phone and he came back with the regional managers phone number (whom I called and left a message to. The manager offered me a 10% which I denied and told him I did not want that. Finally I paid my complete bill, which I shouldn't have because we left half of the food in the plate. Now me and my daughter are at home with stomach aches due to bad food preparation. Last time it took us a year to come and now it's going take forever and a day for us to go back there . If I live in Rialto I shouldn't have to drive to Riverside to go to a Denny's. I hope corporate gets in touch with me and I'm going to find out who else I could complain to. read more

I went here a few weeks ago smelled like mildew in front entrance in waiting area. It's good thing the lady was taking to waitress at the bar. I went to look at the seating booth and the floors had dirt and trash under the tables. I walked out fast went to IHOP instead. I don't think they clean the floors just busy taking to people. Waited over an hour for our food while people who were seated after is received there meals first. Then when we finally received our food it was stale and Luke warm. By the time we took a bite it was cold. My French toast was so burnt I couldn't cut through it and all a nearby waitress said was "oops". The service isn't terrible. Im convinced it's the cooks. It's unfortunate cuz I live just a few streets away from this location in Rialto, but unfortunately I doubt if I will ever set foot in this restaurant again. Received food gift coupons from two different family members for large amounts of money so wanted to use them up. It was enough to go to Denny's and pay for everybody in my group several times. Unfortunately each time was a disaster, and perhaps a lukewarm experience. Night time always has the lousy help new hires, and the like. Compared to the morning or daytime, the service is just so so. Don't care for any of the extra condiments costing extra money such as salsa, as opposed to the bottles of vinegar hot sauce that you get at the 99. Heck you get all sorts of Hot chili peppers homemade salsa three varieties another condiments at any Alberto's or other roadside Mexican restaurant, at no charge! One of the times our food would order was incorrect, and every time we went with a certain waitress served us she'd be yelling in Spanish across the dining room to the busboys for something. She was very loud and boisterous. Also don't really care to have the waiter or waitress disappear in the middle of waiting on us being sent home and somebody else supposedly taking over the table but you don't see anyone until you yourself go up to the register and say you want to leave now where's my bill. No more refills of any beverage or clean up of any dirty dishes or anybody coming to your table at all! Each time was a disaster, a sinking ship I say! ONLINE ORDERING FOR DELIVERY = NO FOOD, NO NOTICE BUT CHARGED $$$$ IF YOU ORDER FOR DELIVERY ON THEIR WEBSITE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR FOOD BUT STILL GET CHARGED FOR THE FOOD AND ANY DELIVERY FEE AND/OR TIP. I have ordered online for delivery two times this year. The first time, it said food would be delivered in about 45 minutes. After waiting about 1.5 hours i called restaurant. The employee that answered said my ordered was ready but the delivery company they used had not shown up yet. I drove up the the restaurant and got the food myself. The waitress there immediately said they have nothing to do with the delivery of the food but didn't give me any info on what company it was or how i could get the delivery fee and tip refunded. I wasn't offered a refund for the food or the delivery and tip i paid. I took the food home assuming it had been just prepared because delivery but it was cold, some items were solidified. No one ever called or emailed me to let me know about the problem. They just let the food get cold. This happen again about 2-3 months later except I didn't go to get the food. I called later that morning and talked with a male manager that stated I had not been charged and took down my information. After reviewing my statements, I Was charged both incidents (and tipped the delivery ahead of time). So I have paid $72 dollars for cold food and/or food i never got. Plus delivery and tip. I understand that employees are not in control of the delivery service, which I was told later was Postmates, but When i talked with employees on both occasions they couldn't give me any useful information I could use to even contact the delivery service and Denny's online customer service wanted too much person information That i was not comfortable with giving. read more

Denny's has always been a big part of my American experience; this is where I had my first diner meal. Tonight was a good dinner and we also had an exceptional customer service from Omar! He made sure to let us know our waiting time since their grills were not working for awhile,so i ended up requesting for him to serve us our nachos first instead of having him serve it halfway through our meal, in which he happily did...he even said he put some extra nachos in there! Anyway to cut short we ended up going home with happy tummy, good meal, excellent customer service and an extra serving of free nachos! We didn't mind waiting for 30 mins. for our meal! read more

I never told Betty what i wanted on the side for the fact i knew she would get it wrong, shes the Stooge not the cook. Yet , when i get my order Betty had the nerve to write on my receipt that the cook doesn't cook my food or put toppings on the side that Betty does as "the person on the phone". My food is now cold and on top of that the hashbrowns were burnt I couldn't even eat that. Once I tried telling her how I know the cook cooks my food and puts the toppings on my food because I called and talked to him, Betty got even more rude and tried speaking over me and tried gaslighting me telling me Betty's right while I'm trying to explain how the cook knew what I wanted and said yes but Betty some how messed it up and confirmed it by writing a novel the back of my receipt . When I never even told or spoke to Betty stooge about my order. And even the cook told me yes. But some where along my order Betty felt like she wanted to become the cook and put totally different things on my order that I never even asked for. When all Betty had to do was kick back relax on the order cuz I never told Betty what I wanted.
