You can't really expect much from a Dennys but this Dennys is an exception. I was here recently with a group of 33 girls (yes, THIRTY-THREE girls) and they were pretty good about seating us in a separate room. The waitress we had was pretty good having to deal with 33 loud girls and 33 food and drink orders. I was really impressed by her organization and she eventually got help from 2 other Dennys coworkers. The drinks were delivered in a reasonable amount of time given the amount of people at the party and my food was ordered and delivered in about 15-20 minutes. I am glad that we had separate checks though...that helped a lot. I would like to give our waitress a lot of recognition for working with our large party. The food on the other hand...typical breakfast food but I loved their Build Your Own Grand Slam option ($5.99 for you choice of FOUR items including Bacon Strips (Two), Buttermilk Biscuit, Buttermilk Pancakes (Two), Chicken Sausage Patty (One), Egg Whites (Two), Eggs (Two), English Muffin, Grits, Hash Browns, Hearty Wheat Pancakes (Two), Oatmeal Sausage Links (Two), Slices of Toast (Two), Turkey Bacon Strips (Two), Granola with Milk (Premium item, add an additional charge of 49 cents), Yogurt (Premium item, add an additional charge of 49 cents), Seasonal Fruit (add an additional 49 cents). Walked in with the ladies after hitting up the club. This is the to go spot to hit up after a late night of dancing off those calories. Walked in, security greeted us. Why security at a restaurant? That means there's trouble. No one greeted us to get seated for about five minutes, so we sat ourselves. Alright I know that may be rude, but our legs were killing us. No one came to take our order after 20 minutes and I'm positive they saw us. So we left with no service, and as we walked out, one of the servers go where did they come from?? I was thinking really? You saw me minutes ago when we tried flagging you down and you told us to hold on. I love Denny's, and I guess we shouldn't have came during the hours of craziness. read more

I was going to have lunch here today Sun 27 Aug 208. I was seated with a menue given then abandoned by the waitress. After waiting 10 minutes I asked for someone for assistance to order my drink and place my order. The new waitress took my order, and finally I got my decafe iced coffee. I ordered the classic burger with onion rings and it was of decent quality. A bit over cooked but in this day in age better overcooked than undercooked. If it wasn't for the substitute server I would have had to coin a new trademark for Denny's.."Come in thirsty and leave thirsty"! read more

My college friends and I came here around 9:30 at night and we were about a party of 18. It sounds chaotic because it was and our server, Maressa, was very amazing. She was very helpful the entire night and kept the brightest smile. I wish I was able to add an extra star for the last thing she did for the night. When we were paying she literally paid from her own pocket since my friend's card wasn't working. I absolutely believe this was the kindest act I've seen in the years I've lived. This Denny's deserves a higher rating. I've been here another time around 2 weeks ago and the staff was super pleasant as well. read more

In the menu I was given it said ask server for value menu. When I asked she told me there is no value menu. When I pointed to the menu where it says to ask she claimed the manager says there is none and she said the manager doesn't answer her questions and is a really bad manager. When I asked her again she brought me the value menu. I asked her if I ordered from it if I would receive what I ordered. She didn't know. Well, I received what I ordered. The manager was at the register when I went to pay the check. I asked for change and instead of responding to my request she said you already gave a tip with your card. I had to ask 3 times. So I don't usually review stuff but this hit me hard. Today I went in to order the new endless breakfast option. I sat down and asked the waitress if this was still available. She said "well if it's up there," pointing to the board, "then yeah we have it." Whatever, I obviously didn't see the board so I thought my fault. Waitress brings food. I eat and once I am done I ask her for another plate... ( FYI I am a bigger girl) .. She looks me up and down and says "another one?" In like a judgy voice. I say yes. After she leaves the table , my anxiety goes up . I feel sick to my stomach. Yes I am bigger and I just had a baby as she can see because he is right next to me. I just wanted some extra pancakes.. but now I feel so judged that I can't even look my bf in his eye because I'm embarrassed that I asked for extra food. I really hate to leave a review for Denny's but it was so bad I had to. The whole staff was complaining so loudly about the Saturday morning rush I felt uncomfortable. Yes it's hard right now but without customers Denny's would not exist. The lady who took our order was rushing us, and did not want to let us finish. The sauce on my eggs Benedict was cold, and I did not say anything as I was afraid they would do something to my food if I sent it back. The front lady was shouting at people getting to go orders and was complaining loudly the whole time and arguing with her co workers. I came here for breakfast during morning hours, ordered the Grand slam, simple eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Service was quick but food wasn't all that good, I know now that I will just pass up on any Denny's, and just take my butt to the grocery store buy these same items, take the time, prepare and just cook it up myself in the kitchen because I know it will taste even better.
