Lema was quite awesome. She provided great service from the get go. Place was packed and she handled each table with grace and ease. The food was excellent. The wait was less than 10 seconds. The place was clean. Lots of parking.

Staff: Espe was our server and was nice. The rest of the staff was okay. The one thing that was a disappointment was we had to ask for refills. I prefer anticipating our needs as customers on refills for truly good service. Quality/Quantity: The restaurant is a bit older but clean. It is a little smaller than other locations. We ordered the steak, burger, moons over Miami, nachos, and potato soup. The food was pretty good and what you'd expect from Denny's. Value: Not too bad at around $105 without tip for 5 adults and 2 kids in our party. Overall: This location is special to me as I ate her my first time visiting San Clemente many many years ago as a kid.

My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way down to San Diego on a Friday night. It was open at 10pm when grabbed some food and was easily accessed off the 405. Ordered an omelet and a pancake combo, and both things came out quickly. Plenty of parking was available. Credit cards accepted. The server who helped us was nice but asked some questions around my ethnicity, which was a bit off-putting, but I guess sometimes you deal with weird stuff the later it gets at night. Overall, a convenient stop for driving down to SD from LA.

Consistent quantity they really do a good job with the new menu items and everything is always fresh printing claim facility. If the parking is, you'll never wanna mess go see the staff foot smile.

Teresa did an amazing job the team was helpful and great service I will be back soon the area is nice plenty parking

Convenient location if you are on a road trip. Unfortunately they have a sign that says they don't accept app or online coupons. This is an older style location so it's a bit dated but, maintains a cozy yet lively atmosphere and the large booths are nice. Service was friendly and helpful despite being busy. Food is alright and you get a large portion size. Food quality isn't as good as other breakfast places but it's good enough. It's a step up from typical fast food breakfast options.

Been here on two occasions. 15 years ago after returning from a Mexican Riviera Cruise and last night after watching an AEW Pay Per View in LA. Both times were awesome! Eight off the freeway with ample parking and excellent service. Food is made to order and priced just right. I enjoyed my late night breakfast which consisted of their new stuffed strawberry pancakes! Also had eggs, sausage and bacon. Came hi get, left full without filing for bankruptcy. Lema was my server and was on point. Super friendly and attentive! If ever you're near the area, drop by and enjoy a yummy meal. Be back soon!

Restaurant is kinda small and not too much seating. Ordered an omelette to go and took 20 minutes. Food was only ok. Staff were friendly.

Amazing taste and big portion too! Special shoutout to Teresa. She is very responsive and provides great service!

This Denny's is perfectly average. The place is pretty clean, not to my standards, but fine. the service is pretty good, not great, but fine. Parking is easy and free in their lot. No one wears a mask, no one cares. I am not surprised, we are in San Diego County. This Denny's is older than many we have in Los Angeles and if you are from out of the Country, Denny's is really just a diner that has okay food. Some are much better than others. This one is fine. Just be mindful of what you order. Stick with their breakfast and you will be fine. We were seated very fast and someone came to get our drink order. Our server was very nice and we liked him. We got coffee and a Sprite for my grandson. All was fine. We ordered our meals. I went with breakfast because that is what they do best. My husband ordered steak with his breakfast, steak and eggs--mistake. My grandson ordered a burger--huge mistake. My eggs and pancakes were good. They came as ordered and I have no complaints. My husband's T Bone steak was just awful. It was ever so thin and cooked poorly. He ordered it medium rare, it came very well done. My grandson's burger was so burnt it was not eatable. Our nice server brought another one, not as burned, but not good. He did not eat it and we just shared my food. Their fries were terrible. The coffee was good, but don't expect them to refill and when you ask you will be waiting. I have never seen a burger so burned. So, order that and yes, they are going to burn it at this San Clemente Denny's. The server told us later that all are well done so no one will get sick. They are right, if you don't eat it, the burger is sure not going to make you sick. They clearly have no trust in their supplier or their methods of handling meat. But all in all, it was fine. The server was very nice.

Combo used to be $16.29 and now is $19.29 for the 50 cent surcharge per egg.

S.C CAFE @ SAN CLEMENTE…read more Parking can be a little difficult since they only have a very small parking lot with maybe four or five spots available, so most people will probably end up parking on the street. My boyfriend and I got lucky and managed to grab a spot after driving by for a bit. I was really excited to try this place because I love small breakfast diners, and I usually go to Surfin Donuts right across the street, which has some of the best donuts. We came here on a Saturday morning around 10 AM, and the place was busy but still really cozy. There are only a couple tables inside along with some outdoor seating, but luckily we were able to get seated right away without a wait. The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs and sausage, while my boyfriend got an omelet with a Mexican-style sauce. Overall, I liked the food, but I do think the biscuits and gravy could've been a little better. The gravy itself was delicious, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the biscuits felt a little too dry for my liking. I also thought the sausages were pretty dry and maybe a bit overcooked. The potatoes though were super flavorful and definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. What really stood out to me was the ambiance. The whole place feels super nostalgic and homey. They even bring out an actual paper check at the end, which made it feel like stepping back into an old-school diner from decades ago. Overall, I'd definitely come back because I loved the atmosphere so much, but next time I'd probably try something sweeter instead of going the savory route.

Pros: This is a very small diner-style spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, and it has a really classic, no-frills breakfast vibe. The interior has a lot of character with wall decor that gives it a more old-school feel, and even the way they bring the check out on paper adds to that throwback diner experience. The food was really solid for a breakfast spot. I got an omelet filled with mushrooms and steak, which was cooked well and pretty filling, and the hashbrowns were also good crispy and simple. My girlfriend got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs, and that was also a strong breakfast option. I also had a black coffee, and everything came out quickly despite it being pretty busy on a Saturday. The vibe overall is really good casual, local, and consistently busy, which says a lot about the place. Cons: Parking is limited. There's a small lot, but it fills up fast, so most of the time you'll end up finding street parking nearby. The lot itself is also tight, so it can be a bit difficult to maneuver when it's full. Verdict: Really solid breakfast spot in San Clemente. Good food, fast service, and a classic diner feel that makes it worth coming back to. It's also right across from Surfin Donuts, so it's a great combo stop if you're in the area.

They've got indoor and also great outdoor seating depending on what is available or your preference. There is also a heater installed on the patio to make the outdoor dining comfortable. Her apologetic smile was telling. I should have paid attention. Beautiful setting in San Clemente under a big sky with the ocean just over there. We enjoyed sitting outside with an umbrella. The young lady offered to move the umbrella to anyway we wanted it but we were fine just as it was. She brought tall glasses of ice water with beautiful hunks of lemon in them. I was feeling so hopeful for this meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my pancakes with sausage patties. The egg was a little undercooked to my liking. No big deal. My one friend, who is particular, started complaining about her meal. I didn't listen cause I've heard it all before. But I did start paying attention when she pointed out she had asked for one type of potato and received a different type of potato. She had asked for catsup and it did not arrive for a good 10 minutes. Her toast was burnt to a crisp, even darker than I like and I like dark. I continued enjoying my meal until my other friend pointed out the long dark hair in her food. That's when I lost my appetite. What gets my goat, because it's so easy to do right, is the bad coffee. It was BAD. So bad I requested half-and-half in order to drink it. Then, the rub, relates to our sharing the bill . Even though our individual summary of foods was correct the tip suggestion was for the entire meal not the portion we were paying for. That's unscrupulous.

Its on route for me and I never thought to myself to eat breakfast here nor check it out, I know on the days when I head back home it's always pack and people be waiting for a table. And that's on a sunny day. Well I was wrong for thinking oh it wouldn't be crowded on a rainy day. NOPE. I was sooooo wrong. It was PACKED and busy. Ain't even the rain gonna stop people to get some good food. What supposed to be a long day at work, tournament was cancelled last minutes and my staff was really bummed because we did travel to work. A bit of yelp search, i stumbled on Antoine's and saw a couple of Elites reviewed and ask my staff if they wanted to eat here. Took less than a couple of second but everyone agreed. By the time we got there (around 10am) it was packed and the rain was just picking up because before we got here, the car in front of us hydroplane and skid off the road and hit the curb. Yet, this place was still pack and parking was full. (We found street parking near Starbucks) I had my staff placed our name down since she lives closer, but they won't see you until all your party is here and that's fine. We ended up seating at the bar and left the booth for other parties. Love the teamwork, the staff were super stars doing a rush like that, let me tell you it PACKED HOUSE and we got our food and drinks on time, no one in my party had to wait to eat and I forgot to take pictures of my staff meals, only took mines and what I got for the table to share was a croissant french toast, which I believe was their special of the day. I got the chicken fried steak and the portion are MASSIVE!!! All of us took our food home because the portion size are insanely big and bang for the buck!! Great place to eat breakfast or brunch or even a 'Team Building Breakfast Time' LOL Just happy to treating out my amazing staff on their work. I will be coming back again to try out their lox bagels and chai tea. (It was in a massive cup that reminds me of the show FRIENDS.)

Just very very casual and not totally comfortable. Food- 3.4/4 out of 5 - I got the Luau plate and LOVED the chicken!! Everyone else was right- that chicken thigh deserves its own plate. I also really enjoyed the coconut pudding/jello thing that came with it and the sausage link. The pulled pork was just okay, not very well seasoned but not bad. The side of "dressed greens" was just some lettuce without dressing on it, and I thought the macaroni salad was fine. The last thing that really disappointed me were the sautéed veggies :/ they were just soo oily and had no seasoning to them at all. I didn't eat any of them or the un-dressed 'salad'. My husband got the chicken katsu plate, he said the chicken katsu was fine but the fries on the side were cold and not crispy, they were kind of chalky in the mouth and didn't taste fresh. Some parts were definitely a 3/5 but my chicken thigh was so good and the portions are *huge* so I feel like they deserve a 4/5? All in all, I think I'd come back if I wanted to go out with someone but save some money and we'd split one of the plates (the portions really are huge).
