Came here for dinner before heading home. It was busy as we walked in. The guy seated us at the next available table but the wait to order took forever. I came in hungry. The waitress told us she would be helping us soon but it literally took more than 10 minutes. We weren't handed menus as we had to grab them. Mistake number one. We had already decided what to order but we patiently waited. When I'm hungry, I'm not patient. Our waitress came. I was ready to order. I got a mango lemonade with the Super Bird with fries. The Super Bird is a grilled sandwich with turkey, a sliced tomato, bacon, and cheese inside. So good. The fries were regular fries that were cooked hot. I managed to finish my food. Perfect amount. The mango lemonade was good. Mango purée at the bottom with lemonade on top with enough ice. The food was good but the service was slow. The manager came out to assist his employees and made the service a little faster. It's a small location. There's plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. We frequent this place from time to time after a long night of drinking and this is one of the few restaurants nearby that are open late, or 24 hours. I like that they have their own parking lot, on both sides of the restaurant, as well as street parking. They never get too crowded. The restaurant is always clean. The employees are friendly and efficient. Our food always comes out fairly quickly, and presentation is good, and taste is as it should. Always large portions of food for cheap prices. And they serve breakfast no matter what time of day it is! read more

My food was very bland and the hostess was horrible the whole time once I got my food I was not asked once if I was okay or needed anything but I watched them ask all the tables if they needed anything about 4 times before I had to ask for napkins and refill. I was nowhhere near being done I still have more then half my food on my plate when I got my receipt nit knowing if I wanted to order anything else which I was going to but decided I would give my money to another establishment that actually wants my business. DISCLAIMER: The only time I would ever go to a Denny's is for drunk munchies after the bars close, so that is the context in which this review is written. I have never been here during daylight (or overly sober) hours, but I assume my rating would not be so high if that were the basis of my review. This place is a Z-O-O after hours, stuffed full of after-parties from nearly every scene in town. (Even more-so now that Brian's has closed.) You've got your hipsters, your goths, your drag queens, your sports bar guys, your scenesters, your local drunk old guys, and pretty much every other niche of nightlife you can think of.. and you've got a surprisingly competent and friendly staff managing to get everyone in and fed. Of course, at 2am on a Saturday night after (a true lady wouldn't say how many) cocktails my taste buds aren't fully operational and my pallet is not in its most discerning state. Things like "OMG this is the crunchiest onion ring I have ever tasted" and "Look at alllll the different dipping sauces and allll the extra ranch the server brought for me" will blow my mind. And blown it has been, more times than I would like to admit. Understanding the circumstances in which I've always dined here, it can easily be guessed that I gravitate toward the fried foods. And they have always been fried to crispy greasy golden perfection. The boyfriend, by some anomaly inexplicable by the laws of nature, actually ordered something non-fried last time I was here - I think it was the spaghetti and meatballs? - and that, too was a divine treat to drunken taste buds. Okay so I've prattled on quite a bit about how good their food is when drunk - big deal that can be said for lots of mediocre food... But in all seriousness: I've always been super impressed with the staff's ability to deal with a roomful of intoxicated people in such a timely, friendly, and organized manner. I ordered the ultimate omelette which had sausage, bacon, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms with some cheese. It was great but I just wished I ordered it without bell peppers in it (not a fan). I really appreciate Dennys being open for dine in outside seating on Christmas day. They had a lot of outside seating and only like 4 tables were full. The waitress was very friendly and kept bringing me water. We ordered the double cheeseburger and club sandwich and they gave us two sides of ranch for the fries. The food was good! First and last time here at Denny's bad customer service the wait for the food it was more than 30 minutes and there was no people when I cut my food I order buffalo chicken strips and there were really salty. Amalia the waitress I told her that they were really salty so she change it. Their regular chicken strips I taught the sauce of the Buffalo or salty when I got that other chicken strips there are very salty. I will never come back... no good at all. Been coming to the Dennys for a few years. I have always gotten the slow cooked pot roast. Just picked up two meals of what I was expecting to be the slow cooked pot roast. When I went to pick up the meals the cashier said to check it, so I have it a quick look to see pot roast and that yummy garlic bread. When I get home, I open the to-go boxes to dig into that smoothed meal to only realize the meat was actually the pot roast melt meat they used for the pot roast burger. Not happy. I hate to give any Denny's 2 stars, but....... This Denny's looks like it used to be a standard diner before they converted it. Not sure the history of this location, but that's what it looked like. Everything is pretty standard Denny's and I've never had an issue with any Denny's for that matter. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam (the same breakfast I ordered the entire week anytime I went to a Denny's). The eggs were undercooked, the sausage tasted like it was a day old, and the pancakes tasted like they were unfrozen and put in a microwave. The bacon was actually pretty good. The home fries were......ok. There were several flies inside this location and at least 2 swarmed us as we were trying to eat, which was annoying. I know they can't control insects, but seriously this was a little much. I don't eat outdoors for that very reason, but here I was trying to swat away flies in between my bites for the entire meal. There was ample enough parking in the rear. The waitress was friendly. For those tempted by that scam claw machine in the front - don't. I usually try them once, but this one is a ripoff. So even though it looks like an easy scoop and grab, don't waste your money here. So as much as I don't like to give any Denny's 2 stars, here it is. I expected better really. Im a regular at this location and i loved going in the afternoons becuase the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I happened to go in the morning and the store manager was extremely rude, i have encountered her before late night and was the reason i stopped going at night and sticked to the afternoon because she wasnt there. Do not waste your time going to this Denny's especially if you are having a late night craving. The morning of October 30th my wife and I went to this Denny's at 4 in the morning after working a late night shift. We could tell it was busy due to it being Halloween weekend but options are limited at that time in the morning. We were seated and greeted 15 mins after which I brushed off. My wife is a manager at a restaurant so I already knew what this experience was going to be like just from being greeted 15 mins after being seated. When the server finally came to our table I quickly gave him our order because I didn't know when he would come back to our table. After waiting 45 mins for our food and watching people come in and out to receive there to-go orders I got up and asked the server when will my food be ready. He said 6-8 mins I'm next up after one table. After waiting 8 mins I had a timer on I told him I was leaving because this is ridiculous and there is now only 4 tables seated. He said if I can just wait 5 more mins, he also informed his manager of the situation. After waiting over an hour for my food. It finally got to the table and of course they forgot something that I ordered. The nachos were not put in when I initially ordered and the sauce that comes with my chocolate pancake puppies was not on the plate. After my wife asked to speak to the manager and asked how will she accommodate us for the terrible experience. The server came back and asked if 20% off is okay. He also apologized for the terrible experience. I didn't even finish my food I was so bothered and annoyed by this experience at Denny's after just working. read more
