I had this huge craving for a Fettuccine Alfredo on this weekends trip to San Jose. Lucky me we're staying at the 4Seasons Hotel where Hangar Bar is located on the ground floor. I can write an ode to my most favorite pasta dish ever. But I'm also difficult. I want my sauce to be very slightly runny but not so much that it would take a sec or two before it will start running if you tip your plate every so slightly. The chicken strips has to be grilled and it can't overwhelm my pasta in amount. The sauce has to be covering both the chicken and my pasta when I start mixing them. But not too much where I have a bunch of extra sauces seating there. Well seasoned. No bland sauce. Makes me cray cray! The above I can achieve at home and when eating out I suffer in silence as long as the sauce tastes awesome. Here they hit the nail in the head. I almost took a moment of silence and said thank you to the One that made this possible. A tear almost escaped from my eye. This after not expecting anything quite remarkable. I really want to love The Table because the atmosphere and location are great, but the food and value just aren't what they used to be. Hopefully they can get back to the quality and portions they had when they first opened.

This Denny's is as bad as it gets. I've been to a lot of different Dennys' but I'm never coming back to this one. Its dirty, the food takes forever to be made, the staff are all recently immigrated from Mexico. I went here when I was on a road trip with friends. I ordered the California omelet and my friends shared a plate of nachos. The food probably took 40 minutes to be prepared and it wasn't even that good. Luckily I asked them to make my shake when the food was ready or it would have been disgusting or forgotten about by the time I ate. The omelet was overcooked and the vegetables inside weren't soft. My friend's nachos were mostly ground beef. This place is really dirty, my water glass had some kind of residue around the mouth area. There's lots of gnats. To management: please train your employees to read the notes/check the utensils and sauces we're asking for/paying for. You guys constantly get my stuff wrong and I continue to come every weekend because it's literally right next to work, I try to not let it affect my future visits when y'all get things wrong and still expect people to tip, but this is the third weekend in the row i've paid for something as simple as ranch and asked for salt and ketchup and it's the third weekend y'all didn't include it. So disappointing, if y'all just read the instructions it would avoid these issues. please train your employees. it's always that one mexican lady that never pays attention, and yes she works really hard but fails to pay attention and js lowkey rude. thank you. read more

First time in San Jose. Came here at night, alot of shady people. The hispanic female manager was good in my book. The Native American looking server with the pony - tail was an idiot. Didn't come and ask me for my refills, had to hunt him down which always gets on my nerves. Besides that the food was good. Big thanks to Denny's for honoring Veterans. We ordered the free Grand Slam they offer for military folks -- super appreciated. The food was classic and comforting. But the real highlight? Maria, our waitress. Total gem. She was warm, quick with the coffee, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Turns out it was her birthday too -- and she still showed up with a smile and great energy.
