Breakfast & A Thanksgiving Dinner For Our Table!
    Barrie E.

VALENTIN L was absolutely FANTASTIC! I have been a loyal Denny's customer since 1973, and his service was one of the BEST in over 50 years of dining with you! So pleasant, helpful, and smiling with a No Problem to at least 7-8 different tables! You've Got An 2025 Employee Of Year Nominee right here Denny's! THANK YOU AGAIN VALENTIN L!!! 5Service All The Way! Sincerely, Barrie Eget Eating At Denny's Since 1973!

This is truly a master piece!

First and foremost I've been eating here since I was a kid. Always hospitable great service.. it's well clean well furnished. I like the music playlists

Ate here earlier today, I said nothing else (besides what I asked for) on my burger, and pickles were still added. Didn't notice them until I tasted it, made me wanna throw up for a minute. What's even funnier is the guy even asked me again to double check what I wanted on it. Aside from that, the fries were great.

Our meal was fresh and warm. Everything was delicious and tasty. The nachos were a bit on the salty side, but I wouldn't order again. It was the first time we order that. The chicken fried steak was really good, soft and juicy. The pancakes right on point! Our server was very attentive and polite. Had a great experience! Will return again and will give other items in the menu a try.

I've been here a few times this winter and waited to give a review based on several visits. I was keeping an open mind because surely this location couldn't be perfect all the time... I was wrong. The food is consistent, the service is great and the establishment is kept clean! As with all brunchy places in San Jose, be prepared for a wait on the weekends during brunchy hours. That's a given. What to expect (it's San Jose!): -Waiting on weekends during brunch hours -unhoused patrons on the outskirts, mainly tagging for the free WiFi -weird parking arrangements (shared with a sketch motel in the backside -not so safe parking (bring your valuables inside!) This location is way better than the old one on First St that is now shut down. That one used to smell like backed up sewage, human urine and desperation.

Our service was amazing. Probably one of the best service I had at a Denny's. My friends and I got breakfast here before our trip to Monterey. I got a Fit Slam with substitution of cheese instead of tomatoes. It was an overall good meal. The egg whites, the spinach, the cheese were good. I would probably ask for them to go easy on the spinach next time but overall pretty satisfied--they were generous with the spinach. The muffin top was also good and surprisingly not too dense, Overall, a very good experience dining in with a party of 7.

I was worried based on recent reviews however we were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Worth a try if you are in a similar situation. Especially if you are in a nearby hotel.

I had this huge craving for a Fettuccine Alfredo on this weekends trip to San Jose. Lucky me we're staying at the 4Seasons Hotel where Hangar Bar is located on the ground floor. I can write an ode to my most favorite pasta dish ever. But I'm also difficult. I want my sauce to be very slightly runny but not so much that it would take a sec or two before it will start running if you tip your plate every so slightly. The chicken strips has to be grilled and it can't overwhelm my pasta in amount. The sauce has to be covering both the chicken and my pasta when I start mixing them. But not too much where I have a bunch of extra sauces seating there. Well seasoned. No bland sauce. Makes me cray cray! The above I can achieve at home and when eating out I suffer in silence as long as the sauce tastes awesome. Here they hit the nail in the head. I almost took a moment of silence and said thank you to the One that made this possible. A tear almost escaped from my eye. This after not expecting anything quite remarkable. The staff that served me also made sure that I get what I really want dessert wise. Their Creme Brûlée. Get this! Dramatic review? Oh yeah! It was a dramatic moment. Electric! Lol!

The ambience definitely creates a nice mood for dining. Since I was there to eat--not to celebrate anything and not particularly concerned about the cuteness--I paid more attention to other things: the spacing between tables, which felt a little too tight and close together; the service; the seating; and, most importantly, the food quality. The staff were very attentive and gracious throughout our visit. The Korean Pork Cutlet was juicy and delicious. It was a generous portion--easily enough for two people. It came with a delicious corn soup, potato salad, and several condiments. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the American Wagyu Steak with Cheese Dip. I ordered it medium, but the meat was so tough it was like chewing leather. Definitely not what I expected from a Wagyu steak. Would I go back? Probably not for a while, unless I was looking for a place with a fun atmosphere for a celebration. For me, good food comes first, and unfortunately, the steak experience left me questioning the quality of their other beef dishes. And I'm a beef eater!

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level.
