This is the best Denny's. My sister and I came for breakfast here. We were greeted and seated by Jorge. He was so friendly and welcoming. Then our server Fredrico came to take our order. He made suggestions and ensured that we got what we wanted. He was so personable and professional. My coffee cup never was empty. He is an asset to this company. The food was superb, fresh, hot, and delicious. And the presentation was amazing. As a previous restaurant manager I know great customer service. I live in Carson but I drive to this Denny's. Great location. They are all on top of things from the littlest thing to biggest. The manage is A grade. Everyone really works great together. You can tell they have a great leader at top. Eating breakfast on a Sunday is not normally going to be smooth, but this location had things moving. Wait wasn't long and every customer was happy as they were leaving. We went in for breakfast this morning and we take on consideration that there is one cook. It took around 40 minutes to get our breakfast. Was horrible my husband ordered eggs Benedict never before has eggs. Benedict have a fried egg on it with cheese sauce that broke up and was lumpy. I ordered ham steak and eggs. On Monday, June 27, my husband and I decided to go to Denny's on Sepulveda in Torrance for a late breakfast around 1:30 pm. When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed with a warm greeting and escorted to our table. Frank, the manager, who is friendly also greeted us and took our order after we reviewed the menu and was ready to order. We both ordered the Grand Slam with the choice of 4 items. I ordered 2 over easy eggs, 2 sausages, biscuit and gravy and hash browns. My husband ordered 2 scrambled eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 pancakes and red potatoes. Both of our meals were delivered to our table in a few minutes and everything was cooked exactly as we ordered and so delicious, we ate everything with no leftovers to take home. We definitely had a great dining experience with Frank and his staff. I hope Frank will be there the next time we dine at Denny's. read more

Out here, the culture is a lot different from back home-- that is, until I started frequenting this Denny's location. My goodness!! Not only is the food smashing in of itself, but the staff are very kind, attentive, and fun to unwind with. I found it, guys! My home away from home! Juan and Jorge are two of the absolute sweetest, fantastic waiters I've known in a Denny's to date. When I come here, it's not just to eat, it's to experience the food and the culture. I might sound like a weirdo, but as a social butterfly, this is such a nice, fun spot that offers a slice of tranquility. I love the atmosphere, the smiles, and the connection the waiters and waitresses build with their exceptional customer service. They offered to warm our coffee and checked to see if we were doing okay. I mean--that's beautiful customer service. Absolutely beautiful. This is my and my fiance's favorite Denny's location! Wow! First time here at this location and had a great experience. I came in fairly late tonight with a friend after work and we were met with a warm inviting atmosphere, and surprisingly lively service. Yvette the General Manager is such a sweet heart! What can I say? I'm a sucker for breakfast at any time of day and Denny's makes a great breakfast. I ordered the Grand Slamwhich which is just awesome! It has everything I love on a breakfast sandwich: Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Eggs, Cheese, and grilled toasted bread with a hint of maple syrup flavor. It's served with their awesome hash browns. The service at this particular Denny's was great when I went. The manager greeted us and we were seated right away. Haters gon' hate. (3.5 really) If you're looking for expensive, 'uppity', gourmet food, you're obviously looking at the wrong place. What I love about Denny's aside from the decent comfort food, affordable prices, and the 24 hour service is that it's very reliable. As a person who sometimes likes to eat breakfast food other than at breakfast time, I love going to Denny's from time to time because it's always open. The service is excellent, as in the waitress actually pay attention to you, and you get free re-fills on most drinks. I also like the different menus they offer at certain time of the year to highlight the specials. I've never left Denny's hungry, which is more than I can say for other, 'fancier', more expensive restaurants. I feel like Denny's get short-changed because of the low-fi comfort food they provide, but sometimes, that's all you need. It's easy, fast, affordable, reliable and simple. This place is alright, regular Denny's diner food. Service was alright, food didn't take too long to come out. Food is typically pretty greasy, but decently filling. I really like the 2468 menu, if I want a snack I go for the biscuits And gravy And hashbrowns And eggs. I usually go here late at night And I've been to this location several times. Quality seems a bit inconsistent, food is alright, I would rather go to other diners, but the fact that I can go to Denny's at 2 a.m. is nice. One of the worst Denny's I've been to. I had to meet a wedding vendor in the Torrance area so we dropped by for breakfast to kill time. Service was incredibly slow. For a Saturday, you would think they'd have more servers. My sister and I both asked for extra crispy hash browns with our grand slams. My sister got hers crispy while mine was barely brown. Always end up here after a late night of work with friends since there isn't many late night choices in the South Bay. Service here has always been great. Seated fairly quick and always asked what we would like to drink. Drinks always come out a few minutes later and they take our order. The lady we usually get as a waitress is pretty knowledgable on their menu and even shows how to get what we sometimes order cheaper from their other menu they have ($2,4,6,8 menu) by doing a combination of the items and replacements. Pretty neat right? Food quality is pretty good, but I wish the portion of hash browns was a little bigger.. How they used to be in the early 2000's. Haha. I like Dennis restaurant but this place is so awful. The food does not look anything like the photo in the menu. For a couple of times, the steak was much smaller than the other Dennis restaurants. I will be the first to admit, I didn't think I could give a 4 star rating to this place. Don't get me wrong, I love me some late night diner food but I've had Denny's a couple of times in Cali and wasn't too impressed. Still miss my Waffle House. Came in pretty late so they were pretty slow. We were quickly seated. The waitress was really nice and was a good sport about us acting silly. Had the country fried steak with hash browns. This is a typical Denny's but good thing is that it's not crowded most times of the day and it's open 24 hours a day. Service is a little slow. Best items here are breakfast items, others aren't that great. Good for kids and not too expensive. Also one of the few places where you have to take your check up front to the cashier to pay when you leave. read more
