Food? I ordered waffles. They are not making simple waffles anymore, but "Liège-style" waffles with pearl sugar. Ugh. Gross. Way too sweet. I was disappointed in my choice. Service? Wonderful. My waitress acknowledged me quickly, saw the book in my hand, and realized I wanted to be left alone. She bought me my food and made eye contact with me one once or twice more, but that was about it. She advised you could only redeem after downloading app. Easy enough, I did download but it would not recognize my birthdate or offer. The waitress was either new or in a big hurry because she threw a setting at us, hurriedly answered my question then left saying someone else would take our order. The Grand Slam was listed on the menu as $5.99, good news, but was watered down omitting traditional items ie hash browns. I was in the mood for a traditional Grand Slam for birthday. Disgusting to say the least! Food was cold, entire facility down right disgusting from the floors, restrooms, silverware, tables, ketchup syrup bottles, and all containers on the table. This wasn't a case of " we were very busy and things were messy"! This facility hasn't been cleaned in forever and is gross, we will not be back! Denny's at 4920 W Ina Road, Tucson, AZ is our favorite place to eat breakfast! My husband and I have several choices in the area (IHOP which is half the drive from our home to name one) and ALWAYS end up at this Denny's. Why? Because our favorite server Crystal is such a joy in the early morning - so welcoming, attentive, and accommodating. Recently we chose to have my brother's birthday breakfast here and ordered the Fruit Waffles for each person to replace cake! We placed a candle on his waffle and sang. Crystal and the Chef helped us pull this off perfectly and he loved it. The second reason we come here is because the kitchen staff makes my eggs perfectly EVERY time. This past month, I had occasion to visit the Denny's at Ina and I 10 with a few friends. Besides enjoying great food and service, we were impressed by the calm professionalism of John, the manager on duty. In the space of just 30 minutes, in a very busy dining room, we watched John play out a number of roles to ensure the smooth running of operations, seating customers, delivering food to tables, bagging to-go items, and checking customers out at the cashier register. At one point, John jumped behind the fry line to help the harried cook with orders - including ours. We enjoyed t-bone and sirloin steaks that were cooked to perfection, just the way we ordered them. On top of all of this, we observed as John calmed irate customers who were seated next to us, resolving their issue with a food order, and making sure that they left happy. Thanks to John and the server on duty, we enjoyed a five-star dining experience at this location and will be back! read more

I don't have any reason to reduce their stars. Great hospitality by the server. Great menu as always with special twist of pumpkin seasonal dishes. I always found their prices very reasonable considering the quantity of each dish. Took Pumpkin pancakes , loaded nachos tots and Mediterranean chicken. Chicken was so juicy and tender that we almost licked our fingers. But the star of show was loaded nachos pumpkin cakes were good as well served with sugary syrup. First off, I recently visited dennys and was really disappointed with both the food and the service. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, and the food was subpar. Our dish was cold and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. if you are sat by Francis, be ready to be astounded by such poor service. Francis is a short blonde, and will not care of her behavior. My family and I are traveling, and it's certainly not the way we wanted our visit to go after a prior day of pure traveling. Truly not a pleasant experience. We asked for waters without any ice and when we asked for no ice, a shrug and a blank face was given, when our food was delivered it was just thrown on the counter, a plate fell on the table and it was never picked up and we were treated so poorly, aren't servers supposed to be the reason we want to go back? This dennys needs to reassess the process with their employees. As a former customer service employee, if I ever acted that way, I'd be sure to never see any service for years, and would lose all my reputation. I demand this dennys to talk to Francis, and possibly terminate the roll. We visited on 12-08-2024 around 11:30 a.m. if video footage could be replayed on the poor service we received. A servers day should never be affected how they work. The service industry is supposed to make customers want to come back, and not leave reviews like this. I will be reporting this to HR, as I've been er experienced anything so poorly in either my life or my families. read more

Worst customer service and food in Tucson. They already don't have good food but now they're rushing and it's undercooked. I ordered two servings of two grand slams and both meals, both times, were undercooked. There was uncooked batter all throughout all of the pancakes and their sausage links were still pink in the middle. The manager has no idea how to handle situations like these either and tries to claim that "he doesn't see where it's undercooked" and if you are even slightly upset at the matter, he will refuse to refund the food. Worst experience I've ever bad about this situation. Never had to deal with undercooked food or bad customer service at IHOP tho!! read more
