I took my car to get serviced at the Tustin Auto Center. My buddy wasn't around so I walked to here to get my STEPS. Pretty much the set up is the same as other locations. The host that seated me was also the person that took my order. Very personable. I went with one of the Slam breakfasts that had bacon, eggs (w/ cheese), hash browns, and toast. I like that the person came around while I was eating to make sure that I was okay. Do you notice that they always ask when you have food in your mouth (lol). My only complaint is that the cheese was just put on top of the eggs so some of it was not melted. read more

I, now as an adult, 23 years later continue to drive back to this particular Denny's because of the service, from Heriberto and the food. Heriberto, Eddie as my family knows him, is Dennys best server. He goes over and beyond. He makes sure we always have drinks and checks on us multiple times each visit, no matter how busy he is. Your curbside pick up does not work! Your phone system was not working, anytime I tried to get through to the number listed for this location, the number would either disconnect or route through the main message. Not customer friendly at all. After several attempts, I finally decided to walk in and had to leave my dogs in the car in 85+ degree weather. Why would you offer a curbside pick up option when you're incapable of following through? You even had lawn signs at your location to call the number and no one was picking up the phone. Ridiculous. I ordered and my food was suppose to get here at 2:28 am the website crashed I couldnt track my order I called 8 times and I never got a call through except the first time an Asian lady manager on duty answered for abruptly 45 seconds and said yes your foods on the way and hung up. I had to drive there to pick up my food which was cold and soggy. And it was lonely they had only 3 ppl no reason why she couldn't answer the phone. Came in with a party of four late Friday night/early Saturday morning. When we came in, we weren't greeted and the Denny's was about empty. We had to walk around to find someone working to seat us. Customer service was hot garbage. Food wasn't even half decent. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and the steak tasted like they battered it in salt lol. My friend ordered the Grand Slam Slugger and it didn't come with hashbrowns. We kept showing the lady on shift the menu where it clearly said "hashbrowns" and she kept saying "Oh no, that's a different grand slam." Doesn't all Grand slams come with hashbrown tho? Honestly one of the worst Denny's I've went to. I came in with a group of friends and we were all magicians who pulled out cards and started to hang out, then eventually order food. The manager had rudely asked a friend of mine if "we were going to order food?" And that "we can't hang out here." All of us did order, and of course I'm the one who had the bad end of the stick which is why I'm writing this damn review. I ordered a really simple cheese melt with no fries, should've been a simple order. They some how managed to get my order last. It came out 10 minutes after everyone else which made me really upset. When I got the food it came with fries, and I never said I wanted to add fries so they added it anyways. My waitress was a sweetheart but the manager working was really non-comprehensive. Came here for a late night craving of buffalo strips. Our waitress Lisa was so friendly and nice, she made us feel welcomed. I ordered the buffalo chicken strips with onion rings, French fries and it also came with a side of garlic bread. It was a lot of food, but everything was so delicious, it definitely satisfied my craving. The only downside of this experience was the time it took for our food to come out. It felt like we would never get our food. The restaurant was not that busy, So I'm not sure why it took as long as it did. It also took a long time to receive our check so we can get going and hit the road. I will not be stopping here in the future. read more

This was my first time, ordering at Denny's. I ordered takeout for the breakfast chicken fried steak, portions are smaller than Norm's Restaurant for the same price and food. I had to call them to see if they had made a mistake. The worker confirmed only 1 patty for chicken fried steak for breakfast, even though the picture for the breakfast entree had 2 patties. The location of this branch is misleading, being next to the freeway, but the service is great! I have known this Denny's since 15 years ago. It had changed owners several times without any renovation. Well, yesterday I went there yesterday for breakfast after a year and what a difference! It has been upgraded quite nicely and looked very clean. I met the manager Mr. Henry R. who greeted me warmly and personally took my order. The restaurant was very busy and full of customers, but all servers were working hard and efficiently under the supervision of Henry. My other server Toni, was very attentive and pleasant. My breakfast was excellent at the right temperature and I enjoyed it very much.
