Been here many times, in small parties or with 15+ (work) and I always feel welcome. Service is great! Food is good, never have I had a bad dish here, it's always as described in the menu. I've had a couple of skillets and I highly suggest them. Second to that is the nachos. Drinks are basic. If any complaint would be the parking, on weekends it's sometimes hard to find parking. Besides that this place is great fro breakfast and brunch!

mushrooms and onions in a foil container

We used to drive all the way from Everett to have a breakfast at Denny's in Wenatchee. It was family tradition. We came in this weekend and asked for Veggie skillet that was the best. We were told that the HQ took it off from the menu. We asked for a replacement and we were offered Supreme skillet which was totally Disgusting. Tons of potatoes, burnt and full of oil, 3 leaves of spinach 4 slices of mushrooms extremely burnt, too and all these masked by a handful of cheese and the egg. There were like warmed leftovers. Sorry, Denny , I m done with you in Wenatchee

Just a nice ambience.

Denny's at 2:00 to 3:00 AM is always a good show! And this one is like all the other Denny's, which isn't bad at all.

I have to say, EZ's Clam Chowder is the best I've ever had (can't believe I was willing to give a…read moreburger joint credit for their chowder)! Over the last year Sherrie and I have gravitated from their burgers to their chowder...probably have had it about 20 times. We've even bought Ivar's Clam Chowder from Costco to compare them. Ivar's has more creaminess and less clam flavor, and though Ivar's from Costco is the low-cost leader, it doesn't compare with EZ's "Dock" brand. I finally interviewed EZ's about it. The recipe is the owner's. "Docks" is the owner's copyrighted brand. It is fully prepared from scratch on site and I believe it is only sold out of this location. They started selling a larger 20 oz. size a few months ago and it's the perfect dinner size, completely satisfying (see the pic). - Scott

I ordered the Jalapeno Pepper Jack Burg and it was PRETTAY TASTY. It def had a kick to it. The fries were really crispy and fresh but the reason I took one star off is because the oil made them taste fishy...it was probably old oil or they used it to try their seafood but they had a fishy aftertaste which I wasnt a fan of. Service was quick and easy like any other drive-thru place. People working there were friendly as well. And the two drive thru lines made it so we can get our food faster. The burger was delish though so whenever I'm back in town visiting I'll be sure to grab another!

A poster on the wall tells the backstory on the Lopez family-- it's a fascinating read, worth the time! I stopped in the afternoon between meal times. The restaurant was quiet with permeating aromas filling the main salon. I ordered "Tacos Dorados" (hardshell crispy tacos). They weren't on the menu, but they said they make them for me. What they served were Flautas. not what I expected, but they were delicious. The quality of the ingredients is superb and fresh, definitely a cut above what you would expect. The flautas were $16.95. They came with rice and beans, however, that was five dollars extra. The cup of coffee was $3.95. So, all toll, the bill was just short of $26. I thought that was a little pricey, but certainly reasonable for a custom meal that's not on their menu. As Mexican food fare goes, Paradise is a higher class restaurant, and it's obvious they want to please their customers. I appreciated the special attention. I'm excited to return and try some of their featured entrées..

Dizzy D's - Burger Joint or Restaurant…read more I have to stick with a neutral 3-Star rating, as I haven't tried any of Dizzy D's burgers (and there are many). But I did have a Chef Salad, a Philly Cheese sandwich, a Club House sandwich and a Potato Salad side serving. The big question for me: Is Dizzy's a burger joint trying to be a restaurant? If the Philly Steak sandwich is any measure, Dizzy's is a restaurant--the Philly Steak is delicious. Not only the flavor of the meat and its generous portion, but the pairing of cheese and bell pepper takes this entrée over the top. But I do notice the at-onetime-side of fries, has become a small slice of toast, which makes no sense as the side to a hoagie bun (or was it meant for the salad with croutons?--either way, who wants bread with their bread. Still, top marks for the Philly (with or without fries)! Otherwise, the Chef Salad and the Club House sandwich were both exercises in processed food--the same cold cut meats used in both. Whether you like your luncheon meat with lettuce, or with bread, you're in for the same experience at the same price. My point: neither are restaurant quality because the 1/16" thin slices of ham and turkey, and yellow-n-white cheeses, and bacon...can't compete with the major restaurants in Wenatchee who slice fully-cooked ham and turkey. Yet the menu prices at Dizzy's are within a dollar of those at Rail House, or McGlinns, or even Denny's. The potato salad side is just a courtesy side dish. The single slice of pickle on top doesn't make it a flavor pairing. I think Reser's Potato Salad from WinCo would be a better choice. I will return for the cheeseburgers...promise! After all, Dizzy's has been around for at least 16 years--that's to their credit; they've got to be doing something right, right? It certainly isn't their lunch meat offerings. Finally, gotta say, the guy cooking, and the Gal at the window were both charming, great service providers!

The prices have gone up and the service sucks Wen this afternoon to get a basic ham and cheese sandwich with chips I leave I get 5 miles away to my destination to eat it and there's two real tiny thin pieces of ham that were like Budwig ham that you used to buy for $.88 for a whole package of it no cheese, two tiny pieces of lettuce I guess maybe I have to go elsewhere for my businessand this sandwich was just over $10. Sorry sorry to see this place go downhill because they had most excellent everything on their menu.

The patties (1/4 lb) are super thin and loaded with veggies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but couldn't really even taste the patty. Wenatchee definitely loves its burger places, and we've always heard good things about Burnie's, so…read morewe finally decided to give it a try. We were 4th in line, and at first it felt like it was taking a really long time to get up to the window. Once we got closer, it made sense -- there was one person working the window and another back there cooking. They were doing their best to keep things moving, but with just two people handling everything, it was clear why the line was slow. When we did get our food, everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, which stood out right away. The only downside was that the food wasn't as hot as we hoped. That was a little disappointing, because you can tell they're trying hard, and nobody likes to see that effort fall short. Even so, I want to give them credit. Running a small operation like that isn't easy, and I think they're putting their heart into it. That's why I'm still giving them 3 stars. I plan on coming back again because I believe they can iron out the kinks. Wenatchee supports its local spots, and I'd love to see Burnie's thrive and become one of those go-to favorites. It really just comes down to tightening up the timing so the food can be served hot and fresh. Places like EZ's use a very similar cook-to-order model and are able to deliver quickly without sacrificing quality -- which makes me think Burnie's can absolutely get there too with a little more attention to process. We'll be back to give it another try, and I'm rooting for them to succeed. Thanks Sepi
