Dr. Liu and his assistant Elaine are awesome. They take extra care to let you know what is going to happen and do their best to make you comfortable. I'm not an easy patient but still, they continued to look out for me and to make sure everything was as painless as could be. At one point, Dr. Liu was standing/crouching to make sure that I was in a comfortable position while he worked in order for me to feel better. I'm unsure if cash and card are accepted as I've always used my insurance but you can call the office to confirm. Dental Solutions is located in a small plaza across from the car dealership and offers plaza parking. Dr. Yvonne Tong is awesome and I've been going to her for about 6 years now. I've moved three times within the 6 years and even though I'm sure there are other dentists closer to where I am I still continue to go to her. She is so polite, professional, and skilled and her office staff provides excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yvonne Tong and Dental Solutions. read more

Dr. Yvonne Tong is amazing - It has been almost 15 years since the first Filling and crown - and I have not had any issues. All her recommendations have been completely accurate including wisdom tooth removal and the extent of damage which she could gauge really well. My orthodontist was amazed at her diagnosis. It's a given that we all dread visiting dentists -- ranging from the awful drilling, the harsh dental flossing the doctors do, and of course, the nasty-tasting fluoride they use to clean our teeth. However, when you come to Dental Solutions, you actually won't find your usual checkup as horrendous! First off... there are seriously no words to describe how ridiculously awesome Dr. Tong is. He's so funny and really helps me relax before he starts doin' some cleaning during my bi-annual checkups. He honestly makes the dentist visit much more enjoyable, because he's always cracking jokes and sharing interesting stories. The office is really well-organized. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes before they call me into the dentist chair. Pretty much their entire staff is really helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. It's also very helpful that they're bilingual, if there are any communication barriers. I think it's really cool how he and his wife are both dentists and work together! During the dental exam, Dr. Tong does the usual routine - Xrays, gum evaluation, etc... I'm not exactly sure what he does since I don't know anything about teeth, but he does his job thoroughly. I don't know if it's in my head, but after every exam, I look in the mirror and my teeth seem whiter! In addition, Dental Solutions also provide orthodontic services, teeth whitening, and cosmetic dentistry. I really recommend checking out their dynamic website. This place is very clean with lots of nifty tools. They're soon opening another new location, too! I highly recommend this place... every time I come here with my mom while she's waiting outside, she always asks, "...geez, I could hear you laughing inside... What's going on?!" read more

Yvonne Tong is great! Went to her for a cleaning and for a cavity filling and she's very knowledgeable and efficient. She answered all my questions with clear explanations. The receptionist was very polite and answered my questions about my benefits as well. My appointment for a filling was at 12:30 and I got there early at 12:15 and was out of there at 1pm with a numb mouth but cavity-free. They seem to be very experienced and know what they're doing. I am posting the following review for someone who doesn't have an yelp account. ---------- review ---------- Walking into a new environments and especially a dental office, some people may feel nervous while others feel dread pool in the pit of their stomach. I am one of those people. But from the moment I walked into Dental Solutions, I was surprised by the atmosphere's levity. The moment anyone walks in, the receptionist looks up and warmly, genuinely, and kindly welcomes you. And if you felt a hint of unease before, you definitely feel much better now. Within 5 to 10 minutes you are ushered in to your check-up. Dr. Tong and Dr. Wong are both so kind and knowledgeable. Throughout the thorough cleanings and more, a conversation arises and you mind will focus much less on the fact that your teeth are being cleaned/fixed. With their calm and professional yet casual attitude, I feel much at ease. Whenever there is a dental issue arises, Dr. Wong always give me her professional advices as well as the pros and cons of different choices of treatments (or non-treatment). I feel like she genuinely cares about us patients, and it is a very comforting feeling. I wish that all of the staff in different medical facilities are like Dr. Wong, Dr. Tong, and the friendly staff! read more

The absolute worst. Came here for a routine cleaning with my wife. Everytime we came here they tried to get us to have our wisdom teeth extracted even though we have no pain and no need for such a procedure. On our second visit they convinced my wife to have her wisdom teeth removed. It was brutal. When I came to pick her up she had bruises all over her mouth, and was visibly shaking from the trauma. I've never had anything but positive experiences with my past dentists. Now I finally understand why some people absolutely hate dentists. These people are not medical professionals, they are incompetent brutes. The only reason to come here is if you want to feel nothing pain, and even then I'm sure there's sex workers who can arrange a better exp UPDATE: Having consulted with several other dentists now, I can say that these are definitely the worst ever. Not only did my wife not require any tooth extraction, other dentists said they would advise AGAINST extraction in her case. These people aren't just negligent and incompetent, they are only interested in money and are heartless about harming their patients. If I never brushed or flossed I would do less harm to my teeth than coming to this place. read more

I've been to Dental Solutions for several years now and I can honestly say that Dr. Tong and Dr. Wong do some great work. I've had my braces done, my wisdom teeth pulled, and I consistently go there for my teeth cleaning/ check up. They're efficient and have great bedside manners. To top it all off, they really do care about their patients. I know for a fact that they are always setting time aside to negotiate and advise their patients. At dental solutions, I really felt that my teeth were in good care and my visits always felt casual yet professional (haha if that makes any sense). So bottom line is: I would really recommend dental solutions for anyone who needs some teeth procedures, cleaning, or dental advise. read more

Be careful !!! I think the dental work was fine, but both the dr. and the reception staff lied to me... I called to make an appointment and over the phone they told me that my insurance was in-network and they worked with Cigna and it would be fine. At the END of my visit and AFTER they were done, they told me some things wouldn't be covered. I again asked if they were in network and they said yes. BUT- when I got my bill.... turns out THEY ARE NOT! WHY would they tell me that they are???? SO annoyed!!! now I have a $150+ bill for just cleaning and xrays?? WTF read more

Finding a trustworthy and reputable dentist has been a long battle for me. Thank goodness I walked into Dr. William Tong's office 5 years ago. Another good experience with Dr. Tong. He is so patient with my 89 years old in-law fixing 2 broken teeth and make new denture for her which fits perfectly with reasonable price. I know it's not easy to work with my in-law fixing her teeth but he did it. I am lucky to have such great dentist. read more

This place is the best, and I hate going to the dentist. On my first appointment Dr. Wong was able to get rid of years of build-up that I have had since I had braces (that no other dentist was able to do). The dental assistants and hygienists do a more thorough job with the cleaning than anywhere else I have ever been. I check-in and within 60 seconds I'm taken back, and within another 60 seconds they are already working on my cleaning. Everyone in the office is so nice and personable. Dr Wong's service was terrible and charged unreasonably!! I was looking for a new dentist since I just moved to bay area and got gum infection near one of my wisdom teeth. I chose this place based on the good reviews. The staff at the front desk is friendly but Dr Wong totally disappointed me. After a super quick 3 seconds look into my mouth, she said the infection is caused by the wisdom teeth and suggested me to have it extracted. I told her I was 9 weeks pregnant now and not comfortable to do that in the 1st trimester. I had the same infection several times before and just left it to cure by itself. This time I was worried if the infection would be bad to my baby so come to dentist for help. But I don't want to take the risk of miscarriage to extract the tooth which seemed totally unnecessary for me. I told Dr Wong all my concerns and asked if she can just give me some simple treatment like cleaning the gum which could help it cure faster. But she insisted to extract my tooth and just walked away to write me a referral. After giving me the referral, she just started doing other things and ignored me. The total meet time with her was no more than 5 mins. What really shocked me is she claimed a bill of $250 for emergency pregnant treatment, although the insurance only paid $65 (I am happy the insurance didn't pay what she claimed). I went to another dentist which found by myself and was suggested to only wash my mouth using salted water several time a day because of my pregnancy. I cured 2 days after!! read more

Dr Wong is incredible! She truly values her patients and cares deeply about their total well-being. When she heard that I had suffered with headaches for many years she immediately focused on finding a solution. She made recommendations and referrals, really seeing me as a whole person- not just a mouth with teeth. read more

This place is great. I've been a patient here for over four years. The doctors are great and I've been very impressed with their dental work. It's a great place for children too. Dr Wong is awesome. Her cleaning is gentle and I had a chipped tooth in the front that she fixed with a filling. The filling was amazing, looked like I never had a chipped tooth. She's very efficient, to the point, and super nice. read more
