Walked in with 2 eyebrows, left with 1 1/2. They were busy so I was expecting a wait. Instead I was immediately sent to the wax room and she basically ran in and spent a minute for the entire wax. When she handed me the mirror I was shocked. One eyebrow was perfect, but the other had half chopped off. I wasn't expecting twins, but these eyebrows weren't even cousins. Overall felt very rushed and like they just needed to get me out the door as quick as possible. I would have rather came back another time when they could take care of me properly. My nails always look great and last 2 to 3 weeks. My main issue is the pricing is never consistent. I always get the same thing so I dont know why the cost is different everytime I go. The last time I asked their answer didn't make sense. I think they make it up as they go. If you look at their pricing board, it never adds up. I think it depends on whos chair you sit in. So I sat down and waited for a few minutes and then another lady came in with her kid and asked to sign her name and come back in a 30 minutes so. I came in on a total whim, and I'm so glad I did! I got the prettiest gel French manicure from Tina, and she was so kind. I was greeted by her as soon as I walked in, and only waited maybe 10 minutes. She paid such close attention to detail, and even started over on a nail that had a small hair on it from her brush. I've had this happen with other salons and the just pull the hair away, leaving an indent in the polish. I know that's totally minor, but it went along way with me. I though about bypassing the manicure part, but I'm happy I let her do it. My cuticles look healthy, my nails are EVEN, smooth and beautiful. Good job Tina! These nails keep falling off. I have mixed feelings about this salon. However my most recent experience there has been bad. I dropped 200.00 dollars on a full set of coffin nails with gel and two pedicures. The pedicures were good but I noticed two days of having my full set they started to change color (they were lilac color and turned grayish) and 3 of my nails have already fallen off so naturally I go back on that Monday to get them fixed and THEY CHARGED ME an EXTRA 10 DOLLARS FOR A MATTE TOP COAT which I paid so an hour later I'm returning home and my left pointer finger nail falls off and then two days later my pinky nail falls off again while I'm at work so yesterday I went in again and they made me wait forever so I just left and I asked why they were just falling off. AND THEIR EXCUSE IS THAT I HAVE SMALL NAIL BEDS & Refused to give me any sort of refund. I'm never going back read more

Pros: Friendly staff. Long lasting gel nails. Clean salon. Affordable. Huge gel color selection. Cons: This is really not a con, more of a common sense thing, but you may have to wait a while if you show up without an appointment during peak times. I have been coming here for mani/pedis for a couple months now, as a walk in and with appointments at times. I have only had a problem when I showed up 40 minutes prior to closing on a Friday night without an appointment. It took about 30 minutes to get started, but I feel like that's expected at such a busy time. I was there until about 30 minutes after they closed. There was no rush and my nails looked great. I was worried that my gel nails wouldn't last because I work in healthcare and I constantly wash my hands, both with soap and alcohol based hand sanitizer. To my delight every time I have had my gel nails done there they have lasted 2 weeks. I consider this a huge plus for the amount of punishment they go through. I have not had any trouble with chipping. I also had gel applied to my toes and it lasted well over a month! The staff there has been great. Always friendly, it's a very laid back atmosphere. It's meh. It's cramped and not clean. The lady who did my full set cut me with a file AND the drill and seemed unfazed at the blood. I'd guarantee the file wasn't discarded or sanitized. I had to ask her to stay off the skin and she just made a noise no actual words. Apparently my pain didn't merit a response. The best part is she charged me an extra $3 for the length of my nails. I thought the definition of a full set was extending my natural nails. So basically the full set includes nothing you get charged for the color of the tip, the powder, the shape and the length. They don't exfoliate whatsoever, they take the file & rub it as gently as possible like their wrist are broken & when you are them to do it harder to get the dead skin off they just ignore you. I'm sad to say I'm never going back again. I was going to go in tomorrow to get a fill. I took my nail polish off and found a green spot in my nail. I know this is caused by either lifting of the nail and moisture getting trapped or by dirty tools. In the years I have been getting acrylics on, I have NEVER had this happen! Got my nails done here over the weekend and had a very bad experience. I was moved 3 times and had two different people work on my nails. Halfway through my service the lady started on another client. After waiting i got passed to the other nail tech and he cut me twice and kept going. Not once while I was in there did I see them sanitize anything and had clients get pedicures back to back using the same bowl without cleaning. I highly suggest finding a different nail salon. read more

I made an appointment for 6pm Friday and Igor there on time. The woman at the front desk was talking on the phone then helped the people in front of me. When I got up to the counter the woman couldn't find my appointment in her book but then said she sent home the nail tech I had an appointment with. Rude customer service! I called to inquire about pedicures for my sister and I, and being that we live just down the street, I thought this would be convenient. Upon calling, I asked about pedi prices and the receiver mockingly laughs at me. "YOU want to know the price of a pedicure? No, you just want to know the prices here to compare for your own shop." Shocked, I replied, "What are you talking about?" The gentleman proceeds to accuse me of trying to find out prices so that I have info to open my own shop, because he had caller ID and sees that my number has nails attached to the name. I then explain that while my husband owned a shop in Dublin, he no longer owns it, and I live in Grove City...really, do I need to explain this much to get a simple pedicure? Still rude, he says, "Oh, well our prices are...." "No need, I will find another place to go." Unfortunately, Destiny Nails has lost my business. I was afraid this would happen. I always call and make a reservation for my gel manicure. I called 3 days ago, good, all set. I drive nearly 20 minutes, leave my family on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, to find out the girl who is supposed to do my nails will be another HOUR! As a small business, if you have a reservation/appt at a certain time, take a customer that you know you will be done in time for your 3 o'clock, or maybe that's just me. I had a pedicure there a week ago. My heels are always dry, but no splitting. I was talked into an upgraded pedicure. She overdid it with the cheese grater. A couple of days later, my heels started splitting, and now I have several split, open cuts. It is painful to walk, and I walk a lot. I will not go back again, and honestly think my money should be refunded. You're supposed to get a pedicure to benefit your feet, not make it difficult to walk and uncomfortable to do what you have to do. I am doing my best to heal them. read more

I went for several months and had a great technician Brandy. she was ill one day and I got this guy who could have cared less if he did a good job ot not. They are not supposed to cut your cuticles unless they are torn. this guy cut mine and made me bleed.It was so bad I developed a fungal infection. I am on my 4th round of fungal medicine. It is terrible to say the least. the medicine is very hard on your body. cramps, weight gain you name it. if you do not do it you can lose your nails or worse. Terrible customer service. Thursday afternoon I went in to have nails balanced. By evening the polish was chipping. Friday I went in and had chips re-polished. Two days later polish was chipping and peeling off. I went back on Tuesday and asked to re-polish with another color, giving the tech the benefit it was bad polish. When she was finished I handed her $5 and thanked her. I walked out the door and the tech chased me down shouting "you have to pay something". I walked back in mortified everyone was staring at me. I explained I was not skipping out but due to circumstances of previous polish I did not think there would be a charge. She insisted I had to pay something and spoke with owner. Together they decided $10 was fair. . I will not be back. It was bad enough to charge me for bad service but to embarrass me like that is uncalled for. Take my advice and go elsewhere. This place is horrible, absolutely horrible! I waited 40 minutes just to get manicure. The brochure in the front says gel manicure is $20. They charged $32 for rigid nails that weren't the same length, they didn't have the color I picked out, they argued about the price saying thr brochure is outdated. I was not impressed and spent $13 more than expected. The day before I verified with a different employee on the price of $20 who confirmed and the next day both who did my nails and the girl who confirmed the original $20 price denied it and argued. This place was a disaster. They rushed so much and my nails looked horrible. Some were crooked, they were bumpy, not painted to the cuticles, and they made me bleed on several fingers. DO NOT GO HERE! Worst place in Grove City to get your nails done. I tried them out because I had a few friends tell me this was the best place to go. First off this place is a bit more expensive than where I was going but I thought you get what you pay for. NOPE! I got a new set put on just a few weeks ago and the nails just kept popping off. I was in there twice to get them fixed. So I go in today to get a balance with the lady that had fixed my nails before because I did not have any issues once she fixed them. I sit down and pick my color out and she just starts popping off all my nails! Mind you it is still a pretty new set. She pops them off and makes my thumb bleed then asks me if I want a new set. Are you serious right now? I just wanted them filled. I just payed $85 for the new set about 3 weeks ago. I'm so disgusted and upset because now I have to pay again for a new set. This was a total waste of money going to this place and I will never be back. Oh and to top it off...she charged me $5 to do the exact opposite of what I came in for. Go to Nails2K.
