Dewey's is my favorite place to get pizza! I love having the option to do half and half, so it's great to go with friends. This time we got half porkys fig and half Dr. Dre. Porky's fig was a bit too sweet for us, but it did taste like a charcuterie board in a pizza. Dr. Dre is our favorite flavor! The weekend dinner waits are usually long, but we went later on a weeknight and it was really quick. The restaurant is cozy and it's fun being able to watch the pizza get made while waiting though. It's a nice ambiance when it's busy too.

Calzone

A friend and I went here for dinner on Wednesday. We were seated right away, the staff was very attentive the entire time we were there. We split a Cesar salad, she ordered a killer veggie, I ordered a calzone. This was the first time I tried their calzone, the filling to dough ratio was great! Lots of cheese, it contains mozzarella and ricotta, it had a great pull! This is also a fairly substantial portion, so I only ate half.

gf - 3.5 I usually go at night and it seems more of a vibe, there was like 3 workers around lunch, food was just pretty good but lowkey dirty. Wine was good as always, glass was dirty tho. My day job usually gets Dewey's once a month and the pizza is always good. Never sat down before so me and my gf checked it out for a lunch date. Inside architecture sucks, giant wall walking in cuts off half the restaurant making it feel small, tiles and chairs looked like a refurbished chuckie cheese, looks like there was no kitchen staff, not sure why there is a giant freezer in the middle of the dining room, colors are bland, and to be honest the vibe was too. It was seat yourself, 5 different tables inside, took a couple mins to be greeted. Got 2 waters, menu options were pizza and salads. My gf wanted just cheese, i like a little more flavor, got the green Lantern, split the pizza in half tho cause it's expensive. 17 is cheapest pizza, 8 slices, 2.50 for a topping added. Gf got wine, I had a sip it was good. Prob the most flavorful part of lunch. Waiter was attentive, guess he was the bartender too, there was another server and one lady in just normal clothes, guessing the manager? Pizza came out quick, flavor was alright. A lot thinner than I remember, size was decent tho. The cheese was better than the one I got honestly. Luckily the pizza half and half was 14 something since we didn't get a full signature one. All in all, you can find better and cheaper pizza around town, better service and better atmosphere. Plates and glasses need to be cleaned, floor needs swepted, dining room needs remodeling, staff needs new uniforms and manager aswell. Focus on pizza and quality staff and ingredients. Prob will stick with free pizza from my work once a month.

Came in for a quick lunch with my family. Had to take the daughter for a check up and she wanted pizza! Noticed it was next to ice cream so I was ready! The service was great and it wasn't crowded. I had not had it in at least 10 years. Let me tell you; it was better than I remembered. My daughter never eats crust. She ate the crust. That's how good it was. The salad was big for the small(glad I didn't get the big one!). Parking is kind of sketchy but I'm rating this on food and service. Great beer selection and very intimate. Highly highly recommend! Cheers!!

Usually land here when visiting Cincy on a day trip. It is fantastic pizza that is consistently so. I had the Edgar Allen Poe and a house salad paired with a beer (a Dunkel by High Grain that was happier and less malty than I expected). The Poe is a white pizza with an olive oil base, mozzarella, and fontina, roasted garlic, olives, and goat cheese. Tomato slices are part of the recipe as well, but I think the pizza works better without. This pizza is made with a really thin crust. Not sure if there is an equivalent to it in Louisville.

Dewey's Pizza has some good pizza! We hadn't had it in awhile but decided to have a Friday night family pizza night here. It was packed and we had to wait about 45 min-1 hr. While we waited, we did enjoy wine at the bar and good family laughs. They also had the Yelp waitlist available. I would definitely encourage putting your name on the list if you plan to come on a Friday night like we did. I forgot to check for the name waitlist and we had a long wait. However, the service is very good and the food comes out pretty quick. When we were finally seated we started our night off with side salads. My mom and I had the house salad. It consisted of field greens, toasted pine nuts, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. It was very tasty and a good combination of tart (from the dressing) and sweet from the cranberries. I love this salad. While here I came with my husband, 2 kids, my mother and grandmother. My mom is a health freak so she made a healthy concoction with Gluten Free crust and no cheese. My grandma, husband and I all shared a large Bronx Bomber and added pineapple and jalapeños. We ordered my daughter a cheese pizza. Everybody enjoyed their pizza and thought it was good. No one had any complaints. Overall, Dewey's is a good pizza joint.

Had lunch here. Pro's: fantastic service; The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Awesome food: the salads were fresh and the dressings flavorful. Then there was the pizza. It was exceptional for a gourmet type, we had the backyard bbq pizza. The prices are reasonable. Cons: Not within walking distance of my residence. (;

Inflation has apparently affected pizza topping portions?
Alex M.

"Dewey's... where you pay extra for less!" I guess the 7.5% inflation is causing a reduction on pizza toppings.

We started with the tasting and all of the selections on the sweet menu were absolutely delicious! I honestly would purchase them all by the bottle they were that good. Even though it was a little busy, we still were able to walk right up and get a spot and were instantly waited on and she did a wonderful job of keeping the tastings coming. We hadn't decided on dinner yet and my friend recommended we stay and eat because she loved the food - I am glad that I took her suggestion. I got the jambalaya and I do not think I have had such a flavorful jambalaya in Ohio much less a winery-type place. My mouth is honestly watering right now thinking about it. Our waiter for our dinner was quick and kind. Overall it was an amazing experience, especially for my birthday, and I will definitely be back - that strawberry rhubarb wine is calling my name again already!

We made our reservation about a month in advance, arrived early at 5:00 p.m. for our 5:15 seating, and were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress, Margaret, was friendly at first--but unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We waited 45 minutes for our starter and an hour and a half for our entrée. What made it more frustrating was watching nearby tables--many seated after us--receive their meals, finish, and even turn over while we were still waiting. We finally left around 7:30 p.m., feeling very disappointed. The food at Cooper's Hawk is consistently excellent, which is why this experience was so discouraging. There were also billing issues: I had a birthday reward and several wine bottles through my membership available, yet the wine was still charged to our bill and the birthday reward wasn't applied until I pointed it out. Although part of it was corrected, we still ended up paying for the bottle that should have been included. We usually enjoy wonderful visits here, and Cooper's Hawk remains one of my favorite restaurants. However, this particular experience--especially the long wait times and billing confusion--was truly disappointing, and I would hesitate to dine in the same section again.

It was like a small city that I had never heard about. There were so many stores and restaurants all around. The atmosphere was amazing, there was a celebration in the square for Juneteenth and the live band and singers were wonderful. The food at Cowboy Sallys was delicious. I got the Coca-Cola Short Ribs and they were so good. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the short rib fell apart like butter. My friends each got a sandwich and they loved them. We ended the meal with dessert, their bread pudding and chocolate lava cake. They were both delicious, and the cake was nice and warm. Our server told us that the lava cake is supposed to come with ice cream and they ran out, so she took it off our bill which was very nice. While the service was very kind and welcoming, it was a little slow. Our server took a while to come to the table in the beginning and was somewhat absent during the dining experience. The host came over to take our order because she was busy. But they were both very nice when they did come to the table and chatted with us. Overall it was very fun and the food was really good, and it was the perfect night with nice weather and live music not far away.

Pleasant, though. We were given menus, cool, leather bound mini binders. (These are way different than other pics from earlier reviews) Really neat selection of house drinks (adult beverages) wide selection of Bourbons, whiskey and tequila. My wife got the Berry Naughty, (see menu pic for description) Evan waited on us. I ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hickory-smoked pulled pork + Tangy Carolina gold BBQ sauce + Southern slaw + House pickles + Cowboy Crack Sauce + Buttered brioche with fries. It has coleslaw and their special Cowboy Crack sauce on it. The pulled pork was cooked well, huge amount of meat. Definitely not shredded, but pulled apart. A few chunks were at least 2" in length and about 1 1/4" wide. Also, it comes with a boq sauce already on it, besides their special sauce. My preference is the pork has no boq sauce on it but it's at the table to add if it's needed. But, gotta say this, HUGE amount of meat, and a tasty bun. Fries were good, but not spectacular or special. Their ketchup has some kick to it, so that was pretty neat. But, my taste buds were almost confused with the special sauce, the bbq sauce and then the ketchup. My wife ordered the Coca-Cola Braised Short Rib Slow-braised short rib + Coca-Cola reduction + Buttery whipped potatoes + Smothered green beans + Crispy tobacco onions. Next time I may order that. I tasted the meat and mashed potatoes, yeh, really yummy! All in all, a good night, really good service, not too noisy, nice decor (several lights looked burnt out in a corner chandelier and a a dark evening, it would be difficult to see a menu. Just sayin') Not a big drinker but definitely a large selection of adult beverages. Would definitely make it a fun evening. Yeh, warrants a return visit with friends!!

The concept is basically same as Chipotle, build your own bowl pick your own protein, veggies and bases. We started ours with the lemon rice and added I think almost all the toppings lol and then we got the fried chicken if I remember correctly, and added the sauce on the sides. Now I had very high hopes for the restaurant. But what I didn't like is how 1. The chicken was super big. More like chicken nuggets in the bowl instead of chicken FOR the bowl. We had like 6 pieces of chicken but a big bowl full of other toppings. Something I did like though is there was no limit on the toppings. You could get all of them or none of them if you really wanted. It threw me off with the sauces we asked for them in the side and they gave us packets. Idk why but it kind of threw me off too then we ended up forgetting to even use them when we ate the actual bowl. The sauces probably would have helped with the bowl, but tbh the experience was just anti climatic. Personally it just feel like a whole bunch of American Asian items thrown together in one bowl
