I heard about this restaurant from social media. I ordered a supreme pizza to go for a late lunch. The service won me over. I was greeted with a smile when I entered. First of all let me start about by saying that I really wanted to like this place! To me it definitely did not live up to the hype. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small place with a patio out in front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was not what I expected it to be. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food but they made us wait for our salads at the counter before we sat at a table. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. The chicken was tough and not very appetizing! The bread was very good but you don't just come here for the bread. I will not be returning.

Great experience. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Oh, and the best piano player in Dallas-Fort Worth. Go in and request a song. This guy can play anything. Went in solo on a Friday night. Pleasant staff all around, and I got a table for myself. I ordered fried mozzarella sticks and also the Chicken Carciofi, which was absolutely fantastic. I don't live close; otherwise I'd be a regular.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night for two. Such a cute little family run restaurant! The food was amazing. I had the Puttenesca and wife had the calzone. Reminds me of the best little restaurants in Italy. So fresh, so much love in the food! They even had a piano player there taking requests. Such a gem of a place.

What a treat!! We were looking for a unique restaurant and we found it in Di Rosani's. When we walked in, I felt like we'd walked into a small upscale restaurant. The seats and table settings are lovely. The service is TOP NOTCH. The food was fresh, HOT, and delicious. Everything we had was full of flavor and clearly fresh and homemade. I was looking for an Italian place as I was craving my favorite dish Chicken Piccata and stumbled upon Di Rosani's and I am so glad I did too! This place has THE best Chicken Piccata dish I think I've ever had or at least had in a very long time. I am very particular about the Piccata sauce and Di Rosani's is about as authentic as it gets. The Owner greeted me with open arms and even gave me a beautiful Rose when I left. Not only are the Chicken dishes fantastic, their pizzas are the rave but they also serve homemade Baklava which is to die for. Love, love LOVE this place and advise that it is a must stop if you want some really good fresh authentic italian food, great service and a quaint comfortable atmosphere. read more

Food is fine, but they disregard simple preparation requests such as instructions to leave sauce on the side. I have ordered from them several times and only the first order was correct. I won't order from them again. If you choose to order from them, check your order because it is likely incorrect. read more

This place is a gem in Downtown Irving. Our Buffalo chicken pizza was served fresh out of the oven and super scrumptious. The lamb chops were another hit. The service was excellent, and the owner came by several times to check on us. The ambiance alone is relaxing. Highly recommend read more

I went here for the first time last night and it was amazing!! One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to and I think they're so underrated so I'm here to tell you this place is so delicious! A "to go" kinda place. Food is good. Really enjoy the linguini with the white clam sauce. But be forewarned it comes with a unique touch of red pepper added, I don't mind them but this is not a traditional expectation. The stromboli is delicious with their house sauce that is full of good flavor. However, it is inconsistently made. At times it is up to par with the meat spread throughout and other times just lumped in the middle. Stuffed mushrooms are a disappointing quantity at 4. Four isn't bad if they are the large size, but these aren't. They are delicious and I do like the sauce. The best thing are the rolls made from a pizza dough like recipe, just divine. Pizza is good and I like being able to get it by the slice. Lunch prices are excellent. read more

Our first time here and we loved this little cozy place! The food was yummy and the portions are generous! It's nice to have a place to have yummy Italian in Downtown Irving. Three different waitresses checked on us throughout our meal but without being over bearing and they even gave us little Christmas goodie bags at the end of our meal!! We had food delivered to our hotel in Dallas through Uber Eats. All of our food (Buffalo Chicken Tenders, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiani, Chicken Valdostana , and Caesar Salad) were sooooo good! We are so happy we ordered from here! The only reccomendation I have is sturdier plastic silverware (my knife kept bending when trying to cut my chicken parmigiani) but other than that we were very happy and will order again when we return! Worth the visit! Ate here the other day. Had calamari as an app. It was pretty good, would have been better with a tempura batter rather than thicker breading. Had a mushroom and sausage pizza, it was fantastic. 5/5 Crust was perfect, excellent flavor balance and just the right amount of cheese. Would definitely go back. read more

I am so glad my parents told me about the place!! The pizza slices are huge and the dough is the perfect thickness. I also like the sauce because it has a bit of a tangy flavor. We ordered about 10 pizzas for my birthday party and got different ones like pepperoni, cheese, supreme, sausage, etc. Everyone at the party commented that the pizza was really good! I definitely recommend trying the pizza at this place. I'm curious as to what their other food tastes like! read more

Not sure where a prior review stated a microwave is used to prepare food and the rolls are possibly store bought. I've been eating here since they opened and the food is delicious. The pizza is a real pie like in Brooklyn or Queens NY. The calimari is light and delicious with just a squeeze of lemon to add even more flavor. My go to is the eggplant parmigiana every time I dine. Big thick strips of eggplant, thick tomato sauce and tons of hot melted cheese. Simply delicious. My daughter loves the penne a la vodka and stuffed mushrooms. The owner Gino visits with the customers and is a really funny guy. If you're from the East Coast you'll love his directness and sense of humor. If not, just enjoy your food and realize that what your there for. Will I be back, heck ya. It's like being back in NY for an hour very time I go. read more

I don't know where the negative ratings came from with the earlier posts but this place has great food. I've been to Europe where have the best pizza I've ever eaten and this place is definitely close. The service was great and I am mother of 2 boys with appetites. This is by far my favorite local restaurant. The food is great, the service is awesome amd it is BYOB! every time I come here, I feel welcomed and comfortable. Di Rosani's is a fine restaurant for casual Italian dining. The portions are large, the staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean. I had a couple of minor complaints. Their sign says "Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar". They do not serve any wine or beer. My server asked if I wanted my salad dressing on the side and I said yes. The salad was served with the dressing on it, and it had an overpowering, strong flavor. I actually did not care for the dressing--it was supposed to be an Italian vinaigrette, but it was not, and it detracted from the salad, in my opinion. read more

Visited for the first time tonight with my husband. I had the lasagna and he had the chicken francaise and both were wonderful. The bread they bring to the table is incredibly addicting, good luck eating just one roll. The service was wonderful, our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was good. Pizza, and Chicken Marsala were both excellent. Speaking with the owner, (he's from Italy) please keep in mind this establishment has been only open a few months. He was working extra hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. His wait staff is fairly new and learning at the same time. A little patience goes a long way. I will be returning in the future. Wanted to try something new and hadn't been to old Irving in a long time. This little gem was quiet and the food was amazing.! We wanted pizza and I decided to be adventurous and made up a request for Hawaiian pizza with Alfredo sauce rather than the usual pizza tomato based sauce. No problem with the request and the owner came back to the table to ask how that came out... it was wonderful! Will be our new go-to place!!! read more

When i finally get to the cashier, i ask him and he says they only offer water for purchase. I ended up just walking away and leaving the establishment because I knew he was lying and it had already been a long night so I was ready to go after that. So my question is, why did i see someone else just moments before me getting water that wasn't for purchase? And why did the other gentleman tell me that I could? So I guess it just depends on who you are and what you look like, if you know what I mean. Also to make matters worse, my friend told me that she was at a table putting Parmesan on her pizza and an employee came by and took it off the table without even asking if she was done using it. The sad part is, I really liked the pizza but I will NEVER go back because of the strange, discriminatory behaviors of some of the staff.

Now, I want to clarify my comment... because this time warp was a really great thing! The decor was true 80's. The music was also from the 70s/80s. Heck, the people working there might have been working there since the 80s too. It just had a consistent 80s feel. And it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before the restraint closed, and we were met with a smile from the greeter. No one rushed us, no one complained that we were coming in at the end of their shift. Instead, everyone treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. I enjoyed my meal and tipped the price of the meal because of the outstanding service we received. Now for the food. I had a simple grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. And yet it was delicious! My chicken was tasty, tender, and cooked perfectly. I honestly enjoyed every bite. And if everything wasn't already amazing in the restaurant (the nostalgic feel, great service, and great food) I noticed their prices were very reasonable. We ate there last night and it was great. Glad to see new restaurants in old downtown Irving. We had 2 kids with us and all four meals were very good. The boys got the sausage pizza and it tasted wonderful. I had linguini with clam sauce and Billy had spaghetti with meat sauce both the meals were good. Service was good and friendly people. We're ordering a pizza to go tonight the supreme. I recommend this restaurant. read more
