    Pulled Pork Sandwich

The staff was friendly enough. It seems a bit like we were disturbing them by coming in. One made comments about being ready for his smoke break and then when he went out to take it opened the door and blew the smoke back inside the restaurant. The interior was pretty clean for the most part. The food was okay. The meat did not have much flavor without bbq sauce. And everything was slightly warmer than room temperature. The food was not great for what we paid for it. Overall felt like a bad bbq catered wedding where the food had been sitting in the warmer for hours.

    Sliced brisket and pulled pork

The staff was super sweet but the food was not good. The meat was extremely dry and the potato's were watery. The macaroni was okay and the toast was good. I am very disappointed but maybe it is just be an off day. It was very clean inside and again, the staff were super nice.

He chose bbq for dinner. I wasn't excited but decided something new was in order. The parking lot is a bad design so be careful. The place is a little dark. I chose 6 wings with lemon pepper and fried pickles. He didn't know if they had any. So I changed to waffle fries. He said they might have some fried pickles and went to check. They did. He had a two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork with Mac and cheese sides. I decided on waffle fries as my side. Soda and water rounded off our order. While I was waiting I decided on an ice cream cone. They have free ice cream there which was a surprise to me. The bbq sauces are with the utensils. There are three kinds - spicy, original and sweet. You ladle them into little condiment containers. The lemon pepper chicken wings were amazing. Some of the wings had more seasoning and was too lemony and salty but I ate those with the waffle fries and it balanced the taste out. The waffle fries were also very good. Cooked to perfection. They didn't include my fried pickles with the order. I was sad. No way of knowing if we were charged as there was no itemized receipt. He liked the pulled pork but not the brisket as much. The pulled pork was soft and tasty. The brisket was a little dry but if slathered with bbq sauce it was better. I'd come back for the wings and waffle fries.

Dickeys BBQ. Not only on your sandwich but all over everything else

We stopped in for brunch and everything we ordered was really good, but the Breakfast Hangover Burger completely stole the show for me. A burger topped with smoked ham, an over easy egg, avocado, American cheese, jalapeños, fried onion straws, and sriracha aioli sounds like someone lost a bet and just kept adding ingredients. Somehow it all works perfectly. We also ordered the Monte Cristo, which was crispy, cheesy, and exactly what I want when I order a Monte Cristo. Another highlight weee the donuts. Fresh, hot, and perfect for sharing. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and the whole experience was just really enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip.

As I have the past several times here, I went with the egg and carnitas tacos. I added a side of fresh fruit...both the eggs and fruit were very good. As the Benedict my wife loved is no longer on the menu, she had the avocado toast with eggs. She added a large size of the breakfast potatoes and was glad she did. While she liked the taste of the avocado toast, she was very disappointed in the small size of the portion. She wish she had more. One daughter had the Mardi Gras omelette for the first time. While she liked the flavor, the fact that the ham was a full slice (lunchmeat style), as opposed to chunks or cubes, was weird...and required cutting with a knife. The other daughter tried the quiche for the first time and loved it. It is one of the better quiches around. Coffee is very good as well. Service was fine for the most part.

They were busy with the brunch crowd but we were seated within a few minutes and our server dropped off a basket of warm rolls while we browsed the menu. The interior was very cool, lot of wood and giving off a nice western vibe. I did love all the western art on the walls and a nice bar near the entrance. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich which she very much enjoyed. Since their Pan-Fried Chicken was named "Famous" I just had to order that. Four delicious pieces of perfectly fried chicken and the mashed potatoes with cracklin' gravy was amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Everyone was so nice and it was a wonderful experience. Side Note - My wife did ask me why I did not order the Chicken and Waffles as it appeared almost every other table had an order. While I love a good waffle, I need to have good cup of coffee with it and seeing how it was almost noon I had left my personal coffee window.

It definitely had a kick to it, even without using much of the sauce on the side. Vegetables were good, but when they put the chicken on top of the fries, those end up getting a little soggy. Wanting to try something different, one daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich. While she wasn't terribly impressed at the start, the more she ate, the more she approved, deeming it to be "fine" and something she'd likely get again. The other daughter, also wanting something different, had the green chili burrito. She wasn't as impressed with the dish, saying it didn't have much taste, even after adding good amounts of salt and pepper. The burrito was described as "mid", which I guess means 'not very good.' Doubtful she orders this again. Service was fine at the start, but somewhat sporadic as the meal progressed. We needed to flag the waiter down for refills and to get our check...which sometimes happens when sitting in the bar area.
