As far as Dickey's goes, this location met all expectations. My order was prepared fast and completely accurately. The quality of the food was about what we expected. The ribs were a little old, but this was around 7pm. The staff was very friendly, especially who I perceived to be the manager. Though this location is a bit of a drive, we may visit it occasionally. read more

For my wedding, we used this location for our food. Although the staff had some difficulty communicating price expectations initially, they eventually got it right. For a place with lots of locations, you wonder if authentic flavor and quality of real bbq will be there, this location has it. Consistently good brisket, had lean sliced brisket sandwich today, jalapeno beans and hot bbq sauce were a bit off, normally better. The food was pretty tasty. However, the kitchen staff on 8/24 was incredibly rude. I had several questions about the menu and the tall guy with dark hair ignored me 3 times. He shouted to the back for an item I didn't even want, I was just asking about it. Finally another guy barked at me what exactly came on the baked potato. The cashier was friendly and apologetic. While I was eating I could hear pots and pans being thrown around in the back. The ribs were a bit salty but the rest of the food was spot on. A standardized Barbeque chain. Usually not too bad, nothing particularly out of the ordinary. Had the regular sandwich, the bun was something you might find in the bread isle, meat was salty, fatty, pretty much what I expected. What I did not expect was the stomach ache that followed my meal. I also find it strange when the staff lacks diversity. Not sure if that's a we're all friends thing or something else. Staff was friendly though, no complaints there. I've never been a huge fan of franchises anyway but here's one more reason for me to avoid them. Support small business. read more

As far as bbq goes, the food is good at most Dickeys BBQ. This upside to coming to this one, as opposed to going to the one in Lantana, is that you're greeted with a smile & they still offer lunch specials (like the one in Lantana used to do), which are prominently displayed on a sign. I have to say that I am very disappointed in that bbq! It was barely warm! It was gross!! My kids chicken nuggets tasted like fish nuggets! The only thing that's good are their roles! My rating is for the one at 407 and garden ridge, adjacent to wal-mart neighborhood market. Would have reviewed that location of they had one on here. Totally terrible. Food terrible, service terrible....you name it terrible. Went in at 6 p.m. Friday night. Had to repeat the orders three times each (two of us), told them "to go" multiple times, half of the sides listed on the board, "uhhhh, we don't have"....food was stone cold when we got home, Couldn't have been more than two or three minutes...(it's a ten minute walk from our house).....even the quality of the food was not good...overly fatty meat, while it was dry at the same time. All this for over $10for a plate??? Don't waste your time or money. read more

Absolutely pitiful. I have been going here for years, but will not return. The portions seem to be getting smaller, and the prices higher. It just isn't worth it anymore. As far as a restaurant chain BBQ Dickeys Barbecue Pit is about as good as its going to get. Texas has alot of competition when it comes to BBQ. Dickeys BBQ always satisfies and the staff is always great. No the meat is not cooked on an outside pit but an inside oven. Still it is good BBQ for a chain. read more

Almost every table had old food on it. I felt like I was eating in a dumpster with flys everywhere too. Absolutely poor management, no excuse for this. This Dickey's is a regular with our family. The servers are friendly, the food is fast, and it is always consistent.

I like the bbq, it's a little pricey but hits the spot. The salads are great too, and the sides.

I use Dickey's to cater my annual company event. Always excellent service and great food!

Got two plates through drive through, one was brisket and chicken, the other brisket and ham. Sides were coleslaw, green beans, potato salad. Chicken was incredibly dry and chewy as well as the ham. Th only adequate meat was the brisket. Green beans were full of oil, just plain nasty. The coleslaw advertised as "creamy coleslaw" was anything but. Dry dry dry. Potato salad, meh. This is the worst Dickies location I've ever been to and I won't be back. read more

This place is the crap. 15.00 for a 3 meat plate, and they are very stingy with the portions. One side of BBQ and the girl behind the counter was to focused on how much she put in my order. Very ashamed to call this our BBQ restaurant in my neighborhood. The Banana pudding was nasty, with old sliced banana's on top. NEVER will I spend my hard earn money on this crap. Dickey's Barbecue catered an event at my office today. They did a fantastic job! They showed up on time, came in set everything up. I didn't have to worry about a thing or lift a finger. The girl that came was as sweet as can be, awesome customer service. The food was amazing Did the buffet style catering we got Brisket and Polish Sausage, Cole Slaw, Beans, Potato Salad, Peach cobbler, and Tea, Everyone at the office complimented me on my choice for lunch. We also still had a good amount of food left over. I will absolutely use Dickey's Barbecue again in the future for catering they did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them! read more

A big thanks to the staff at Dickey's Barbecue in Flower Mound. I have been in the hospital for surgery and could not cook my Thanksgiving meal as usual. I was pretty bummed about that, but called Dickey's to order our meal so that we would not go hungry. Their policy was for me to pick the meal up the day before and reheat for Thanksgiving day. I explained that I was still pretty sick and wanted to just show up at my daughter's home with the meal ready to go. The woman who took my order sympathized with me and said she would "make it happen." When we picked up the meal on our way to my daughter's Thanksgiving day, everything was hot and fresh and they had thrown in a complimentary Pumpkin Pie to make me feel better. What a wonderful random act of kindness. Not only was the food delicious, but the kind act made my whole holiday brighter!! You are my neighbor Dickey's, and you have won a very loyal customer!! Always loved the food I get here, but yesterday, a bunch of things went wrong with one of my favorite bbq chains. I got there with my bro, and we order THREE plates, two with turkey, mac and cheese, and fries, the other with brisket, and a baked potato. It was difficult to order, as the guy kept telling me to pull forward even though I wasn't done ordering. I get to the window, and hand the guy my coupon. He then tells me the charge, I noticed it was kind of low, but I did have a coupon, so I just went along with it. I got the food, midway home my bro goes so snag a couple fries, and notices there is TWO plates in the bag. Even after I told the guy multiple times 3 plates total. Instead of turning back, I decided to go to the Dickeys in lewisville. I told them my order, and they say there fryer and grill are broken. I almost flipped sh*t. I let my bro have the plate he wanted. And just went through chicken express to satisfy myself. God damn, if you don't want my money that bad Dickeys, just shut down.
