The food that we received was good. We would have liked to receive everything we ordered like the BBQ sauce. The lack of sauce made my pulled pork very dry. I would have loved to have BOTH sides that were ordered and paid for. I used Uber Eats so I paid a delivery charge and a service charge. Placed an order over the phone on Wednesday and ordered a couple of their $3 pulled pork sandwich specials and a kids meal for my son. The kid that took my order was nice and had my order ready when I arrived. When I got home I realized that there was no pickles like I requested on either sandwich. I understand that I only paid $3 but I still expect my order to be right. The pulled pork was good but not great. The kids meal however was a hit with my son. Very good food. I had the barbecue cooked in cola. Yumm. My granddaughters had the pulled pork sandwich. They had beans and I had coleslaw. All the sides were delicious. I didn't like the potato salad but then I only like my salad. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I whole heartily recommend that you give it a try. The problem here is consistency. They have some fantastic staff and some staff that feels like they just dazed and confused. Some times the turkey is moist and delicious other times is dry and miserable. The fountain machine and the sauce are consistent. The place is clean. Seriously disappointing. First, you should know that this place is less like a restaurant and more like a Boston Market. Everything was pre-cooked and my food was merely assembled when I ordered it. I had unnecessarily ordered ahead, but chose the rib plate with bbq sauce on the side, with mac and cheese and a caesar salad for my sides. It came with a roll. Well I got all the way home before I realized they didn't give me the bbq sauce. First I ate my salad. The dressing was good but some of the lettuce was frozen and the croutons were stale. The food here is always pretty good, but I think the owners should seriously look into hiring some new people because their customer service is terrible. The past few times I've been to this location the workers have been pretty snippy and rude. They're about the same age as me and I'm shocked by how the workers speak to customers and how they act. Tonight we received dinner for 4 from Dickeys through Door Dash. Barbecue sauce was spilled all over one of the bags. The ribs look bitten! The ribs were overcooked and cold. All of the waffle fries were soft, cold, and mushy. My Caesar salad was served in a pint cup with the dressing container on top of it so someone handled the dressing cup and put it in on the lettuce. The Mac n cheese was worse than a boxed meal. Look, we don't expect a former meal from a barbecue place but now it the time to step up in the delivery meal category and this felt like they couldn't care less. CLEARLY it's under new ownership and unfortunately last time we will eat at this particular franchise. We were just here a few months ago so to our surprise a lot of items no longer on the menu (for whatever reason??? Like half their original sides arnt available) when I asked about them the old large Latina lady taking our order barked at me what's on the screen is all they have. Ok well the screen was on and off buffering so couldn't read a blank blue screen. Anyways we got combos weren't given cups. Found our spot sat down, husband was getting bbq and napkins while I was at the table with me 15 month old. I heard that our order was ready and the lady again barked at me that my food was ready.... Like yes I heard you but I'm not leaving my little child unattended so give us like 2 minutes jeez. Clearly bad vibes from the jump. Our pull pork sandwiches were mid and no longer had fixings on them (pickle onion cheese) . My biggest turn off and reason I won't return is was being barked at by an old lady who's literal only job is hospitality.... Like just be decent ? My husband and I went there on 1/27/23 and he ordered the half rack of ribs, with Cole slaw and baked beans and I ordered the pulled pork special with potato casserole and baked beans and 1/2 lb of brisket to go. Ribs were over done, pulled pork over done and dry, baked beans were not cooked enough, potato casserole was cold and had no flavor. The special came with a drink so we had to buy another one, asked about the brisket they said it would be ready when we were done eating. Then I had to wait for the 3 customers in line before I could get it as it was not ready when I went to get it after we were done eating. Bad Service. Husband went to get our sodas, and the ice machine was broken, WOW, no ice for a soda. She said the ice machine was broken, we told them they should provide ice on the side, "no comment. If we knew the ice machine was not working we would not have bought the second drink. The lady that was chopping the meat was slamming the knife so hard on the wood that is all you could hear, having a bad day with an attitude, plus the loud exhaust fan noise from the women's restroom that had been that way for at least 3 months that I know of. We go there quite often and this is the worst experience we have ever encountered and for the price of $63.68 and I gave a tip, it was not worth it, and they were out of paper towels in the restroom as well. I asked for a receipt instead of just the little receipt just showing the total due. They said they had to keep that one. What are you doing over charging people, as we have no idea because it is not itemized. When we got home and opened the beef brisket it was so fatty that I ended up cutting it off and maybe ended up with a 1/4 lb instead of 1/2. Very very disappointed. Given this place more than once shot. Never had a pleasant experience. Food is mediocre at best. The last straw was the most recent time we were craving barbecue food. We decided to give this place one more chance and it is definitely the last time we will be back. Staff is always rude. I would give Zero stars if that were possible. I don't know what the food is like. I ordered "no contact" delivery, and what that means is that literally, there is no contact. My food never arrived. It was sent via DoorDash. I got a text message saying the driver was approaching. The order never came. I then went to the order online, where it said it was delivered. It was NOT delivered. After much difficulty finding a number to call Dickey's, I did call and the person I spoke to literally said that there's nothing they can do. I asked to speak to a manager, and the manager said the order was picked up by a Door Dash driver, and that there was nothing she could do. I told her the order was never delivered and I would like a refund. The manager hung up on me. The manager actually hung up on me. I know accidents occur. Could the driver have delivered to the wrong address? maybe. The response that I got from DIckey's Barbeque Pit - that there was nothing they could do is unacceptable. Drove all the way home which is 30 minutes away to find out that the 3 meat plate I ordered, only came with 2 meats. I feel like I got screwed. The feeling when you stupidly trust people when they say everything is in the bag. I guess I really have to take it out of the bag and look inside every single plate now. We ate @ Dickeys once before when they first opened in Queen Creek and we really liked it. It was a bit pricey for the portions but the food was good. This time, it was absolutely horrible and a complete waste of almost $60! We ordered online/curbside pickup do to the Covid19 restrictions, pulled into the curbside pickup parking and waited over 20 min. No one ever came out so my husband had to go inside the restaurant. Our order wasn't made or even started, the employee said online ordering had been cancelled? It took 15 min for the employee to locate our order and he insisted we didn't place any order for the Queen Creek store even though my husband had the confirmation which stated the order had been placed for that store. He finally located our order and almost 40 min later he started our order, they were out of almost everything we ordered and had to substitute items. An hour later we arrived home to find the food was shoved into a bag and the BBQ sauces had opened and spilled all over. The food was old, looked and tasted like it had been sitting for hours. I ordered the Brisket sandwich and the bread was so dry and crusty it was not edible. The beans looked questionable, the cole slaw was warm, the pulled pork was dry, and the wings were old. We had to throw out over half of the order.....I realize with all the Covid19 chaos restaurants are being pushed to the max, but this was completely unnecessary. If your store is running low on food and the quality is questionable, then close until you can reorganize and ensure your giving customers 100%. This was really disappointing. read more

Yikes. This location needs some serious help. We were not greeted at all. We ordered the plate which came with 2 sides and a drink. They didn't bother to tell us the drink machine was out of ice, and out of every single soda product and flavor. We mentioned the drink machine was out of everything, and who seemed to be the manager on duty said, "so what do you wanna do?" Uhhh how about what are YOU gonna do about it?! We had warm lemonade.
