Then we got a call "we're out of ribs and chicken" We ask "can we get a refund" " no we can't give refunds you have to call the corporate office" was the response" When you call you get a bunch of options about franchises, purchasing, construction, etc. etc. but nothing about refunds. So I called the BBQ place again and asked to speak to the manager. "oh the manager is not in I'll have him call you but he won't be able to help you" was the response. I never did get the call. Frustrated again ..... stopped by to get dinner for our family of 5. Ordered a decent amount of food....well tried to but the lady kept cutting me between each item. Came up to the window where the worker couldn't listen to me due to a poorly working headset then said "I hate this fucking thing " and laughed as she ripped it off her head. I then waited in line for 20 minutes before my food came out then she said she made sure it was all there ..... well it wasn't. Not enough BBQ sauce for 3 sandwiches and a rack of ribs and missing the beans we ordered. I don't even know what I paid for because I was not even provided a receipt. A couple of nights ago I went online and placed an order for this location, selected A pick up time, and paid for meals. I've been got a track your order option which I clicked on. My husband went to pick up the order and arrived approximately 10 minutes early. Boy was he surprise, the store is closed(according to the hours posted they should have still been open)!! The money had already been taken out of our account, and the tracker now says that the order was delivered to customer. The next morning he went in to this location to talk to somebody about it. The guy at the counter was absolutely no help at all and rude about the whole situation!! He said they do not except online orders, there was no manager to talk to and wouldn't be so we would have to call corporate office. When my husband asked for a refund, he was told that if he felt the charges were fraudulent maybe he should contact the bank. Getting the food that we had ordered and already paid for was not an option either as 'they don't do online orders' My family will never step foot in this establishment again and will make sure to pass the word on to others as well. read more

This Dickey's always seems to have a ridiculous wait time, a filthy lobby, and terrible service. You are lucky if half the menu items are even available. The Dickey's chain is fairly new to the area so if this is the only location you have tried I would advise you to try the Division or Coeur d'Alene locations instead which I have never encountered these negative aspects. read more

Super bad experience-- I went through the drive-thru at lunchtime, only ordered two meals, and both were messed up. I got a baker with meat, and asked for no cheese or sour cream on it as I'm allergic to dairy. They left the cheese on. I ordered my husband the single meat plate with two sides, and they forgot the side of fries. While I was waiting for my meal I heard the woman at the window and a man working in the kitchen making fun of another customer for asking for a custom order-- no wonder they decided to ignore my request to leave the cheese off of the potato, though since there are only four or five ingredients on the whole potato it should have been very easy to do correctly. It's certainly not a cheap place, and since they got both of our orders incorrect there's no point in going back. Bummer. read more

I have been to this Dickey's before and have been disappointed (cold food, out of various meats an hour after opening, slow service, etc.) but thought I would give them another shot as it had been awhile. I received the daily "yellow cup" email offering a $3 sandwich. I stopped by and went through the drive-thru to order. I told them about the email and was promptly told that they cannot honor that deal because they would "go broke" and that the chain started in Texas but that Washington "has much higher costs they would never make money if they honored that deal". I was then asked if I understood. Really?! I said, "Oh, I understand." and drove off. I was able to download and create a Yelp account after waiting ten minutes for my food, and I'm still waiting. The staff were unprofessional and rude, and looking into the window while I waited, the kitchen appeared to be unclean. Update: Recieved my food finally, and it tasted poor. They only serve two sizes of drinks, small and large. Overall, I will not recommend this place to anyone or go back. I'll weigh in here, because I grew up in Dallas; where Dickey's was founded. I've eaten at the Dickey's in North Spokane and two of the franchises in the Seattle area; and this is the ONLY Dickey's where the brisket isn't dried out like beef jerky. I wish I could take you all to Dallas and have you eat at the "original" Dickey's, but since I can't, all I will say is they really need to improve the way the meats are served. Something wrapped in plastic and shoved in a warming cabinet AIN'T Texas BBQ, but as I said, at least THIS location doesn't let their brisket dry out. read more

Great service initially at the Drive thru. However, discovered my order was not filled correctly when I got home...called to let them know and was greeted by a rude individual who did not care...was being rude and dismissive and hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked to speak to the manager, she then informed me she was the owner and continued to be rude and dismissive. If I did not live so far away I would have returned the food (no refund wanted)...I did the next best thing threw the food in the garbage. Rather than address my concern she was rude and acted like I was not a paying customer. Got so upset called her the B*&$# (I will apologize if she apologizes for being so rude and dismissive to a paying customer) word and hung up. I will never ever patronize that business again. Third time is not a charm. First online order we did on a Friday night they had no Chicken left at 5:45 on a Friday night. Staff was super friendly wanting to help so thought it was just be a fluke. Ordered again a week later on a Wednesday night and sure enough they had everything. So we did an online order again this Friday night. Our order was to be picked up at 6:45pm. We arrive at 6:50, and see a huge line. We go to pick up area to retrieve our order only to find out it wasn't even started. We immediately notice one girl, Sam was her name, running around with her head cut off. All the while there is some other heavier set gentlemen that keeps staring out windows and meandering around the back. Every time Sam would ask for help, he would say he has drive thru orders. Sam did everything she could with what little she had. What kind of management only staffs 2 employees on a Friday night? The same kind that runs out of chicken on a Friday night, that is who. So after ordering our food at 6:20, and arriving at 6:50pm, we got our food at 7:15. This was after confusion and a lost receipt. Two out three of my visits have been horrendous, and I can't on good faith recommend this place to anyone, especially on a Friday night. read more

You who keeps calling me on not telling the truth, what have you to hide. I did not see a doctor immediately when I got sick after getting take out from your restaurant, because I was so sick I couldn't even think of driving to the hospital. My husband almost called an ambulance. My husband was too elderly to drive or I would have gone. After about a week I did go to the doctor and he diagnosed Ecoli, which I did tell the Health Department. There WAS an extreme amount of salt so we could not eat much. My husband couldn't eat any. He spit it out immediately. I tried, because I was so hungry for BBQ. I thought this surely can't be that bad, but after eating a couple of ribs I gave up and stopped. When I took them in to get a refund (which I had refrigerated) the young man was very concerned and said surely I could get a refund but owner would have to OK. He then told me that a disgruntled worker had been let go Saturday, the day after I visited with my order. My guess, and it's only a guess, was extra salt had been dumped or put on those ribs. I am sure your product cannot be as bad as my order was, or you would not still be in business, but I am telling you I got terribly sick after eating those ribs. Coincident? I don't really think so. If you as the owner would have courteously refunded my order, and showed an ounce of concern to one of your customers instead of being rude and threatening as you were, I probably would have let this drop and chucked it off as a bad experience...end of story. When you the owner were yelling at me on the phone, several coworkers overheard you threatening me to never step foot in your restaurant ever again, they were all quite shocked. Yes, it's a BBQ chain, which can be a bad sign. No, it's not on the level of Black's or any other world-class BBQ joint. However, it's definitely worth a trip. Good smoke ring on the ribs, & good fat/flavor on the brisket. Not as tender as some I've had, & the sides aren't special (fine, though), but the spicy sauce is good. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!!! When they first opened we had a decent first experience. I thought it was very expensive, but overall everything was decent. About a month ago I wanted to feed the family after a long & hot day of working outside. When I called the order in they were out of two of the meat choices & seemed annoyed at the large order. I was told that we could pick up our order in 45 mins. When we got there the lady in front of us was trying to order her food, and they were out of most of the items she tried to order. The lobby area was a mess. The floors, bbq service area, tables, chairs, windows etc. were NASTY. When it was our turn to pick up and pay for our order (1hour & 15 mins. later) I was told that they got a "rush" and that they had not even started our order yet, and they no longer had three of our side items. After seeing the gross lobby, I was kind of glad that they had not prepared our food. The three employees that I saw seemed very young and very stressed. The guy apologized & we left. Longhorn BBQ received our business that night & Dickies lost a $120 order and our business for good. read more

If you like hickory smoked KC/Texas style BBQ, this isn't it...however it's the closest you'll find in the 509. Service was good, busy during lunch, line moved efficiently. Had brisket/ribs, unsauced, both stood on their own legs. Brisket done right, seasoned well, able to be cut with a fork, flaked, well marbled/flavored. Ribs real good as well...could use some meatier ribs maybe, but the ones used were fine, meat able to be pulled from the bone. It's better than Longhorn and Uncle Leroy's. Worth a try for sure if you like the other Spokane BBQ joints. read more

2 stars ONLY because of the candor and upbeat personality of the employee trying his best to help the messed up situation.. otherwise 1 star all the way on this one. We called in our order for Super Bowl Sunday on Saturday to make sure we would have the bbq we wanted. Order was an XL pack ( 3lbs brisket) with sides PLUS 1lb each of chicken, pulled pork, & spicy sausage. When my husband & BIL arrived to pick up our PRE-ORDERED FOOD, they were told that there was NO BRISKET AVAILABLE, it had already been sold throughout the day. They could sub it with other things.. ok, no problem. So they chose a rack of ribs, more pulled pork & extra spicy sausage. IN THE MIDDLE OF CUTTING UP THE "NEW ORDER" they are informed that "they just lost the sausage to an order at the drive thru, so they'll have to once again choose something else." - so not only did you not prepare enough brisket for what you know will be an insanely busy day nor did you pull & set aside our pre ordered food in advance (hence the entire reason of being able to pre-order food in the first place) but then in the middle of at least attempting to rectify the first MAJOR screw up, you blatantly screw the same customer again?! So..they left without any BBQ for our Super Bowl dinner & will be spending our $150 elsewhere. I am an incredibly loyal customer, but will definitely be trying out some other places after this experience. read more

Ordered via Door Dash because they were offering free delivery. Have never ordered from Dickey's before. Delivery was prompt and fine. Gave him a decent tip. Ordered 9 piece ribs and 6 piece wings plus the Mac/cheese, potato salad and mashed potato sides. Did not get the ribs but instead two orders of wings. They were awful. So dry and disgusting. Mac and cheese was edible but that's it. Potato sides were both blah. So disappointing. Will never order from them again. Door Dash was awesome and gave me a credit immediately! read more

I went through the drive-thru my sandwich was made in correctly and when I called I was laughed at and told I could "drive back and get my half scoop of coleslaw" from Theresa and then Rob came on the line after I ask for a manager and he told me he would not be correcting this issue. He then told me that Theresa is the owner of the location and when I asked for his name he told me it was Brian....... We got the 'Picnic\nPack' we got the Brisket, which had the consistency of ground beef. The Jalapeño Beans, which tasted a little off... Not even spicy PR real flavorful. We were supposed to get the Creamy Cole Slaw, but ended up with the mashed potatoes. The only decent part of the meal was the bread and potatoes. It's definitely not worth the price. 31 dollars for not even good BBQ... I can make the same plate at home, for probably cheaper. I'm sad, that we don't really have any decent BBQ places here in Spokane. But you guys should rethink your name. read more
