I ate a bag of dicks and I liked it
    Sebastian B.

Love love love dicks!!! It's a Spokane must!!! What a cool nostalgic place, a great destination. The guys behind the window are all business so do your research. You order by numbers the menu behind the workers is very clear. I got 1 whammy which is essentially the number 1 cheeseburger with catsup mustard and onions. I wanted to get several so I can say I ate a bag of dicks.

Good, fast cheap food. When you are hungry and need to fill that crazing this is the place. I've heard a lot of locals call it the PNW In-N-Out. Price wise it's very comparable. Taste wise I would rank the fries higher and the burgers are the same but still tasty. The burgers actually reminded me of the older McDonald's burgers before they changed the recipe. I wished they stayed open longer but it's a place you can't miss.

The food is pretty good considering it's fast food I would suggest not going right at opening more like during the lunch rush hour or just when it's more busy if you want to have fresh food I've seen them put burgers in the microwave that they have right next to the grill area. But over all the food is good the milkshakes are pretty spendy for the size of them and the fries are good again when they're fresh. I have been really liking the corn dogs lately and they're decently priced... I do have to mention the fact that they seriously charge you like 0.45 for sauces even if you've bought an item that would likely need sauce like fries or say chicken strips etc. I just thought that was absolutely ridiculous I could see maybe 0.10 each but 0.45?! That's crazy especially considering how expensive they are. Now the employees for the most part the staff is great but there's 2 women that just have a s**tty attitude and they honestly make ya feel as if you're an absolute burden for needing to order something. They've obviously worked here way too long and must dread coming to work I can't think of anytime that I have actually seen them smiling, like actually in a good mood. It's the older 2 women one wears way too much brightly colored eye makeup and the other lady is about the same age I'm guessing just a bit heavier then the other one. But anyways. I would say 3 stars is what I will be rating them...

My family had burgers from here for the first time and they were just alright. I got a huckleberry ice cream cone and it was really good! It was a fun surprise to see huckleberry cones on the menu. Service was friendly and quick.

At my picnic table outside eating a double cheeseburger, cold small fries, and milkshake

Great spot for a MEDIOCRE hamburger! Washington state does not have In-N-Out Burger and some locals try to claim that this place is better! Very laughable! Dicks has no dining area inside (just picnic tables outside) and no public bathrooms. They do not cook your food to order, they pre-make everything. I got a double cheeseburger and asked for no onions hoping to get something more fresh but it didn't work. Asked for small fries and they were pre-made long ago and cold. Even the chocolate shake was in a freezer all ready for the next person that ordered one! McDonalds is better than this place!

    a sign for dick's burgers

And you won't find some fancy Gastro pub burger here, no truffle fries, or some brie or Gorgonzola cheese burger here. What you will find is a little slice of a memory of what a burger tasted like when you were 10 years old when life was simpler and you were happy. This no frills, old school, iconic burger stand, unapologetically serves up the basics and does so well! Get your single burger, whammy, burger, or a full half pounder, with fries or onion rings. Even better top it off with a shake or maybe an apple pie pocket. All of which tasted simple, honest and good. You will leave with a big smile on your face and a happy tummy. What more could you ask for?

    Cheeseburger and fries

Normally, I would give dicks five stars, but this location has a lot of homeless people each time I visited begging for money and food while you eat at the benches out front so the ambiance could be a lot better so you feel safe. The food is always great and service is very quick. Always a classic spot to visit when I'm in the Seattle area or Spokane.

Old school since 1965. This is one popular hamburger stand with a constant flow of customers coming through. The building and sign looks like it hasn't been updated in decades which gives the perfect back in the day burger stand authenticity. The cheeseburger I ordered taste just like a McDonald's cheeseburger and the fries are really good too. If you are a t-shirt collector they offer burger shirts for sale.

Just came in from Seattle and spotted the Dicks sign... folks in Seattle know what I am talking about .. the famous Dicks hamburger chains in Seattle and surrounding area. Well it's not the same chain but it had pretty ok food! The area is a bit shady but I am used to that living in Seattle. the girl who waited on us was really nice and took our order quickly and was patient with me changing my mind a couple of times ...lol Got the cheeseburger with fries and a hamburger and the fish and chips... cheap eats but it was pretty good .. loved the fries !!

headed for the airport after work and after an hour and a half needed to put something normal in my belly. reggie recalled hearing that Dick's has been a local fixture since almost the very late pleistocene so here we are :-) our visit starts with an interesting exit from the interstate with traffic flows that you have to experience to appreciate; it's reminiscent of Palatine Road but with center lane turns. we pull into a diner that has in fact been dishing it out for about a 17th of a millennium it's a simple process to acquire simple fare, walk up to a window and choose a variation of burgers with or without mustard, onions, pickles, catsup and/or another burger plus maybe cheese? or fish? or pizza? add rings or fries and something to wash it down and maybe desert. pay your money and listen for your order to be called out... get your food and find a place to eat it; maybe at home or on the road or even here if the weather is agreeable (which it was) in a world of genuine simulated faux nostalgia (or outrage) it's refreshing to find an actual "real thing", a throwback, a reminder of how the good old days actually were good. in my over-blown opinion a burger in a sack with rings in another sack both in a third sack is representative of the best of times and I will probably be stopping by whenever I'm in town.

The food was amazing. I would've been truly happy with the appetizers and the drinks alone (a restaurant should be considered amazing when all you want to do is eat all the appetizers on the menu). I knew this was going to be an amazing restaurant when I told the host the name on the reservation and someone snuck in and taken our table. So the starters were amazing, the drinks were wonderful, the people at the table next to us raved about the schnitzel. That was the only thing they would eat on the menu, but I looked over and they were tucking into a piece or two of their friend's pizza. My only regret well at least two is that I don't live close enough to go back there and finish eating all the appetizers as well as having a chance to try the desserts. This is a place that truly deserves recognition for the ambience the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. Get a reservation... Have drinks, starters a couple main course dishes and let me know how the desserts are. Hopefully, I'll be sitting at a table next to you sharing how much I love this meal.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

Service was great, didn't wait long at all, I got a cheeseburger which was not only HUGE but had the coveted crispy edges that smash burgers are known for. Not just greasy, extremely greasy, if you like that. Tasty, but, over-the-top on the greasiness. And, I now know smash burgers aren't my thing. For the price, seems like a few fries or tots should come with it. For the burger & basket of tots (which was a generous amount), was over $21 without drinks. We had water. Only two bad things: 1) I walk with a cane & it slipped on the greasy floor by the cash register where you order. Maybe throw another rug down there? 2) There was no hand soap in the bathroom. One of the staff said they hadn't gotten their supply order in & they were out. a) What are you using to wash your hands in the kitchen? Dish soap maybe? Hopefully, something other than the hand sanitizer that was being offered to customers. b) THERE'S LITERALLY A YOKE'S ACROSS THE PARKING LOT!!!! Finally, it was very busy (glad to see that!), especially on the patio. I love supporting local businesses, but, this just isn't for me.
