Great burger. But dont go here unless you are prepared to be treated like garbage. The staff are supposed to be dicks, hence the name. The restaurant was located in a beautiful little new section of Pidgeon Forge, TN. Bacon cheese burger was great. The first alcoholic drink comes with a souvenier glass and the second drink will be considered a refill, and will also be a MUCH weaker drink. We were so excited to eat here! Didn't realize that there would be a 2-hour wait! And when we put our names in, there were a bunch of empty tables. Apparently they were short-staffed (on a holiday weekend??) Anyways, our server was terrific! She was rude to us like she's supposed to. The problem started when they brought our food out. My friend ordered her steak medium (warm pink center). I ordered the steak & shrimp--steak medium rare (warm red center). My husband ordered the fish & chips. Our steaks were both well done and were like shoe leather to chew. My shrimp was very mushy. The sides were not warm at all. My husband was served shrimp. He told him he ordered fish & chips. The man apologized and took it back to the kitchen. Several minutes later, a manager arrived at our table and said that they were all out of fish so what would he like instead and he would comp the bill for that meal. Husband said he'd have the shrimp. Immediately, his meal was ready--which means that the meal they tried to serve him, had been sitting under the warmer this whole time, and was just now handed to him. They're chewy and mushy like mine were. We also ordered drinks for the souvenir cup. Most places that give you a souvenir cup, will give you a brand new one in a box so you can carry it home. We had to carry the one we drank from all over the Island in our hand so the last of the drink didn't slosh all over our other items. And I had to ask for extra lemons several times and never got them (I get that they're rude but to not give me something that I asked for??) The cherry on top of this horrible experience was the bill. Originally $130 for 3 people knocked down to $100 (with my husband's comped meal). This is not a fancy enough place, nor was the food all that great for me to be spending $100 for 2 people to eat. They charge a RESORT FEE. What is that even? The point is that the wait staff make fun of you and can be rude, crude etc. if you go in and don't like that then you shouldn't visit this place. I agree the food is slightly high for what it is, but the ribeye I ordered was pretty good. Drink prices for large beers is really high. Ok, first of all, Dick's servers are supposed to be rude and throw things at you and what not... that's the whole concept behind the restaurant. Three stars because we were not entertained and offended. SERVICE: my brother and boyfriend were dishing it out and making our party and others laugh more than our waitress. She was NICE. She threw some straws and said whatever, but when I go to this place, I want to laugh and hear the "best" they got. FOOD: everyone got something different and everything was delicious. Drove one hour to get here. Called ahead to verify they had outdoor seating for my dog. Was told they did. Was also told they weren't doing call-ahead seating, just to come and get on the list. When we arrived, parked our car, walked 1/2 mile to get there, the restaurant had signs stating "we are booked for the evening, come back tomorrow". The place was about 80% full, & the bathrooms were clean. If your on The Island, choose Dick's. Went to Dicks last resort on the island last night and my family and I had the best of times. Kids all had a good laugh and food was nothing less than great. I had the chicky chicken and my wife had the salmon and we were extremely pleased. However I do have a complaint. Our server was Zach (or Zack I don't know how he spells it) anyway, my 13 year old daughter (who we made a point to inform him of her age because we know she looks much older) was made extremely uncomfortable. "Slut" jokes and comments about her clothes... she was wearing a long sleeve crop top and shorts. Not that it matters. But apparently it does. After mentioning it twice, her laughs stopped and she was ready to go. Face in her phone the remainder of the time. Not another word. And he continued to target her and try to bother HER. It's a hard enough world these girls live in without men being creeps and making comments about their figures, clothes, makeup, etc. But still yet here we are having to comfort our 13 year old daughter because we come on vacation and our server of all people is the one that we had an issue with. Again, We had fun, to say the least. But that one issue was enough, I don't think we will be returning. read more

So let me just start off and say...IF YOU CAN'T TAKE SARCASM AT IT'S BEST...STAY AWAY!!!! Went in yesterday before heading out, and waited about 10 mins. We got a horrible lady by the name of Jess(She was really awesome, by the way.) I had to prepare my husband for this experience, but he even thought the whole thing was really funny. I'm a waitress as well and I WISHED we could behave this way at the place I work. We had another family sitting at the end of our table, and Jess really gave them a hard time, but once she caught on to what was going on she enjoyed the fun. This is a MUST if you are at the Island, and ask for Jess, she will not disappoint you at all. She treated my family great(all thought they are used to Sarcasm), and they all enjoyed.
