Visited again April 17 2026..see my receipt as always…read more Yes..obsessed with the shrimp! Ordered the surf and turf that had tri tip and humongous shrimp! They seasoned everything perfectly! I noticed that they really want to please their customers and check on them frequently! Really nice food. Most to go so I don't have to cook! The outdoor seating was perfect for my puppy. They even brought him a dish for his puppy snacks and water. Freddie was wonderful again and the cooks/chefs take pride in what they are serving! Full bar and live music as well. Great experience!

It was really busy and loud, but I didn't mind that too much because it's probably a very hectic day of the year for them. What I didn't like so much was the service. When we walked in, nobody greeted us, they just looked at us and we stood there waiting for 2-3 minutes, then assumed we must be in the wrong area to get seated. We then went through the back door, but that was obviously wrong as well, so we went back to the front and after another couple minutes of us looking around, finally a woman told us to sit anywhere and we would be helped soon. We sat down at a table and 30 seconds later she came over and said "What do you want" and we were confused because we had no menus and no time to decide what we wanted. She went to get us menus and gave us another 30 seconds to decide what we wanted, then passed us off to another waitress because she couldn't answer our questions herself. The next waitress was fine, she helped us and the service was quick. We asked if we could substitute fries for mozzarella moons with the fish & shrimp basket, and substitute fries for onion rings with the burger. She said yes but it will be +$4 for mozzarella moons and +$2 for onions rings. We only got 3 mozzarella moons with the fish & shrimp basket so I would say it's not worth it to substitute those for over $1 each. Now for the food, it looked amazing, I'll give them that! However, it didn't taste great. The fish and shrimp were so bland, they needed a lot of salt and the texture wasn't for me. I love fish & chips and have had it many times, and sadly, this time was the worst fish & chips I've ever tried. The burger was great, though! Kind of crazy to me that it costs $1 to add a slice of cheese, though. Now for the sides, the onion rings tasted almost burnt, definitely over cooked. Not great at all. The mozzarella moons were fine, they were pretty standard and had a nice cheese pull at least. I like that they gave us ranch, ketchup, tartar sauce, & cocktail sauce without charging us extra, so that's a plus. Overall, I left this restaurant feeling disappointed because my boyfriend and I don't go out to eat very often (usually once every month) and I wanted a great experience but it wasn't what we expected. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had, but definitely not the best, and I don't like leaving negative reviews, but hopefully this can give some insight to someone on my experience here.

I've watched many people seat themselves at tables and leave 10 minutes later because no one asked them what they wanted. Yes, the decor is stuck in the 90's, but I actually like it. The double smash burger I had was excellent. The bun they use is awesome and they charred the patty perfectly. It tasted way better than Fleming's Prime Steakhouse burger I had last week, that's for sure. The thick steak-cut fries are awesome, too. Over salted but nothing a cold beer can't cut through. Highly recommend their smash burger.

If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers

Located in the middle of downtown Roseville, parking is not hard to find at all as there is plenty of street parking and a nearby garage. The decor inside is stunning. You can see industrial-size equipment for the beer fermentation process, and the dark wooden walls match the cellar theme perfectly. However, we were seated at a small table with bar stools that wasn't very comfortable. It was a warm day outside, so the AC was blasting inside and I got cold very fast. Shout out to my husband for walking back to the car to grab my jacket! We started off with drinks. I got the Thirst Trap mocktail, which was sweet and tart and reminded me of Nerds candy. However, I don't think it was worth the $14 price tag. My husband got the Vernon Street Lager, which was a very tasty beer. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pickled Veggie Jar. It had a great variety of brussel sprouts, onions, radishes, and more that were deliciously pickled. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive, so we ended up eating half of this just waiting for our food. Carbonnade Flamande: My husband ordered this braised short rib stew served over mashed potatoes. The beef itself was very good, but the portion of meat was very small compared to the mountain of mashed potatoes. It tasted nice, but for $26, we expected a bit more meat. Moules Frites: I got the mussels cooked in broth, served with duck fat fries and crostinis. The mussels were plentiful and the broth was very flavorful. Overall, the food was decent but the fries were the absolute best part of everything we ordered and everything is on the pricey side. The service didn't really stand out either. There was no reassurance or update on why our food was taking so long. Plus, water was never served automatically, and when I finally asked for some, our server only brought one glass even though we were a party of two. This was not worth the $100 we spent on dinner and I don't think I would find myself back here.
