ginger and mushroom satay, chicken pad thai, egg drop soup

First time here and I was already drawn in by the lunch specials. Unbelievably generous sizes for the lunch price - and the taste was great as well. I prefer more of the savory notes over sweet. I visited on a rainy weekday, so there were not many people and our meals came out quickly. Our server also checked in on us frequently. I know there are other branches of this restaurant, but after trying different ones, this one is still my favorite!

    Drunken noodles with beef.

Ordered the drunken noodles with beef and it was delicious. Decent amount of beef that had a nice char, the veggies weren't over cooked and had a nice crunch to it, and the noodles were not mushy and over cooked. Best Thai food that I've had in a while.

The food was delish! The chicken was a perfect 5/5. Crispy and just the right amount of sauce. The catfish was very flavorful but had too much veggies. The fried rice was really good as well. The rad naa needed more noodles. Overall, the food was 4.5/5. The Thai iced tea needed to be a bit strong as it tasted diluted. The service was great! The place was clean and very inviting.

Really enjoyed our meal here! Affordable, delicious! Good service, nice portions. Would definitely come here again! Delicious, easy parking, no wait! Our group ordered spring rolls (rice paper), pot stickers, beef satay, fried rice with triple protein, chicken pad thai, green curry, trout, ginger salmon. Everything was so good!

We really enjoy coming here and it's been a consistent rotation at least every other week. It's in between a Starbucks and a pizza shop in the same plaza as the Albertsons off of Crown Valley Parkway and Cecil Pasture Road. And you can dine in or order online for pickup. I think they are available through DoorDash too, so plenty of options to try them out! They have other locations in Mission Viejo and Lake Forest, but we've only been to this one. We usually arrive at lunch to a spacious dining room and the servers are super attentive with drinks and service. Their menu contains both Thai and Chinese cuisine, but we've mostly ordered off their Thai menu and everything we've had so far has been top notch. We come through for their lunch specials, which is available on weekends and includes a salad with your meal. Items I've had have been the pad see ew, green curry with tofu and pad Thai. And what I like is that they provide 4 different types of chilis - chili paste, chili flakes, pickled chilis and Thai bird chilis in fish sauce. Their portions for their entrees are pretty generous as well. We've had the sweet and sour crispy fish filet, dinner portion of pad Thai and Som Tum Salad (papaya salad). I would definitely order these again and will be back soon.

Nice neighborhood Thai spot for when you don't feel like going far. Best Pad See Iew I've had. Called in a to-go order and it was ready quickly. Ordered the tom kha soup, orange chicken, beef lo mein, and pad see iew. Delicious! I liked the pieces of water chestnut in the orange chicken, but it if you don't like them, I recommend you ask for them removed.

Really enjoyed the food here and take out was super quick and easy! We ordered online and the website was easy to use and navigate. Food was ready before the given time. I appreciate that the worker asked if we needed chopsticks and sauces at pick up instead of loading the bag with things we didn't need. Interior looked cozy and clean, would definitely come back to sit down. Food was delicious. We ordered the hors d'oeuvre plate, pad se ew, and orange peel chicken. Really liked the satay in the hors d'oeuvre, the other appetizers were decent.

It is usually a long wait for takeout but we'll worth it. They have the best fried rice around.

Dined for lunch. Fast friendly service. Large lunch menu…read more Booths and tables available. Very well laid out dinner restaurant. Not too bright. My coworker and I both ordered Crying Tiger. It was his first time and he said more than once how good it was. I always order it if I see it on the menu. No two crying together sauces are alike. Everyone makes their own recipe. This one was green , sweet and spicy. The beef steak was grilled perfectly medium and the veggies were fresh. The peanut salad dressing was also very good. Next time I'm in the area, I will eat here again. Great find.

You literally have to wave them down for refills, or remind for sauces, etc. one time it took 15 minutes from when we asked for a check to get the bill. Then another 10 for them to pick it up, so we got up and took it to the front register. Ordering takeout is even worse. They hand you a receipt to sign and tip them for...well I don't know why they expect a tip. Every visit I ask for several types of sauces and or utensils, they are ALWAYS skimping out. If I order 3 entrees and I ask for hot sauce, I should be given enough hot sauce for my order. Skinny short haired lady hands me 3 ketchup size packets for 3 entrees max. The final straw was on a takeout order when I see the typical "3 sauces for 3 entrees" and I ask as usual for more sauces, the lady has the audacity to give me 1 more and then turns around not saying bye. I go to my car and per usual they forget all utensils. I go back in and the lady is visibly mad I'm back, I ask for utensils and she gives me 2 (bro I always order 3 entrees, it's for 3 people). I ask for one more and she scoffs but gives me the third. Then says "do you need anything else?" Yes ma'am, I need you to learn customer service if you're front of house. Every time I come in I'm angered by her attitude and service. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Sometimes I get a perfect pad see ew, flavorful noodles, tender beef, etc. 1/3 times it comes bland, chewy pieces of meat and it's just underwhelming. I think sometimes there's a good chef and then maybe a bad chef? lol it's a shame bc when it's good, it's literally the BEST tom yum in all of OC. Now that's out of the way... Ordered: Pad See Ew - Great balance of savory and slightly sweet. Noodles had the perfect texture and the veggies were fresh and crisp. Crying Tiger - Best we've ever had, period! Perfectly grilled, tender beef with a sauce that had just the right amount of kick. Absolute standout. Pad Thai Chicken - Classic and done right. Not overly sweet like some places. Chicken was juicy and the peanuts added a great crunch. Drunken Noodle - Bold flavors, generous portion, and a nice level of spice. This one disappeared quickly from the table. Green Curry - Fragrant and creamy with a great depth of flavor. The veggies were cooked just right--not mushy, not underdone. Red Panang Curry - Rich, slightly spicy, and packed with flavor. The sauce was so good we were dipping everything into it. Kudos to the owner for buying quality ingredients and employing great staff!
