The food is amazing! The service is very good. We love the ambiance of this place. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Dined here last night on a whim. We were not disappointed in the food or prices! Sushi was quite fresh and the 2 specialty rolls for $17 was a nice surprise. Presentation was lovely - see pics. Our only complaints come from the lack of small plates and napkins. We ordered 2 appetizers and four rolls and even after asking (which we both thought it was strange that we would need to) we received soy sauce boats and nothing else. Prerolled silverware had one tiny and thin napkin and we had to ask repeatedly for extra. I'd still go back and take our own plates and napkins LOL as the rolls were delicious and inexpensive. read more

Ding Asian Fusion looks promising from the outside. Interior is also nicely furnished with bold Imperial Red accents and the ambience is classy. Came in for Sunday lunch with an group of 8. The service was also great; however, the food is bland and mediocre. They have a Sunday lunch special that's a pretty good value, you get the choice of 2 meats + choice of rice(white, brown, fried) for $8. Most of the folks at my table went with this. I decided to go with an item off their regular menu(the sizzling beef) to evaluate them better. As advertised, it came out sizzling with smoke rising which made for a nice presentation. Unfortunately, there really wasn't any significant flavor to it. The same held true for everyone else's food that I sampled, was reminiscent of the Americanized Chinese food that you would get at a buffet. Which, to be fair, is probably the audience they are targeting being a fusion restaurant and all...it's just not my cup of tea. I will probably stick with Szechuan Bistro(which they also own, supposedly) for authentic Chinese food. read more

45+ min wait for three sushi rolls while there were a total of 6 customers at 12:15 on a Monday. Three different people had to come by to confirm the order and they still got it wrong. The waitress lied several times telling us our food was being plated and then the "manager" came by to confirm the order again and let us know it was being started on. At this point we had waited 37min. Came by again to confirm and then delivered the food 9min later... and it was wrong. The staff didn't offer to make it better in any way and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told there wasn't a manager. Ichiban is everything this restaurant isn't and is the same price. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our first and only time here at this restaurant. We had high hopes when we went in, it looked very nice and their menu selection was great, but our opinion declined after we got our food. My husband is a good cook, and he said it was very average, however, one of our experiences made it very much less average for me. I am a connoisseur of things made with coconut and the waitress told me their Coconut Shrimp was very good. Based on what she said, I ordered it, but knew immediately when I tasted it, that I was not going to like it. I then saw that it was fried shrimp and not sautéed shrimp, but tried to take a couple of bites, however, I did NOT like it AT ALL. I told my husband that I was sorry, but I was going to have to get some thing else. When I ask our waitress to come to our table, I explained to her that I did not like it and that it had fried shrimp with it and that I had gotten sick on fried shrimp before. She started arguing with me at the table and told me there was a picture of it on the menu, and she was right, there was a picture of it on the menu. I personally didn't realize it was fried shrimp and told her I had gotten sick on it before again, but in my opinion, she continued to be defensive, and did NOT display quality customer service to us at all. My husband already had his meal sitting there and being the gentleman he is, said he would just eat it later and for me to order some thing else. This meal was $17.95 by itself and our waitress did NOT offer to let me order anything else in its' place unless we paid for it. I actually was quite taken back or surprised by her service. In addition to the taste of food we had, we would never go there again because of that. Fast forward... My husband and I were going to a conference and we figured out that we would not have a place to keep the food. We tried to tell her that, but once again, there was no change in her service there towards us. He did then try to eat some, but ask me was there mayonnaise in it and of course I didn't know if there was or not, I just knew it didn't taste good to me at all and he quickly assessed he didn't like it either. With it not tasting good and double the fact that we didn't have a place to refrigerate it for a few hours, we just left it there. However, my husband paid for his meal, my second meal, and a $17.95 meal that we left on the table and that is after we told the waitress, we didn't have a place to put it because we were going to a conference. Outside of that, our food was very average and the highest we would give it is a three. My husband did say his fried rice was the best of everything he ate and did enjoy that. We also had the Crab Rangoon for an appetizer, but it tasted very average to us. We did not like the sweet and sour sauce very much, he said it tasted like it came out of a bottle. All in all, it was an expensive lunch for us and we didn't really enjoy our dining experience there at all. read more

Y'all! I wish I hadn't been slightly wine intoxicated when we ordered this last night so I would've taken pictures. However - ordered to go from here last night and every single thing was so freaking good. Ordered rolls too and I didn't have high hopes with it being delivery, but lemme tell you - more than pleasantly surprised. Can't wait for us to actually go here in person, but in the meantime I am so happy to have found this gem. You have to check it out. I was unimpressed with the food and their tacky, LED lit, Vegas-wannabe decor. And even less impressed when our server seemingly lied to us about not having chop stick trainers for our youngest. Why? I have no idea. But the table overflowing with locals next to us was happily given trainers, the entire group, complete with lesson on how to use them. I called our server out on it after our meal, his explanation caught in his throat as he blushed with embarrassment. You are so busted buddy! As for the food, the entire menu is overpriced for both their sushi and American-Chinese dishes. Specialty rolls range from $11-15. Even with their Saturday and Sunday discounts it still feels overpriced. Four specialty rolls left us hungry afterwards, the two of us and one munchkin in tow, runs $30-40. The base rolls they use are cheaply made and light on ingredients, with extra rice filler. And the crab and other ingredients smelled very fishy, a big no-no. This is the first sushi place I've been to that charges extra for any sauce on the side. Of course, our server didn't let us know that. Rolls had decent flavor but were nothing special. Godzilla roll with the tempura fry was rubbery. Eskimo roll was topped with salmon doused in sweet chili sauce..pretty pathetic for a $13 roll. We were so delighted to find this diamond of an establishment through all the other low-bar so-called-"restaurants" in the area. Our server was very informative and helped me and my roommate navigate through the many delicious items. For appetizer, we had yellow sashimi (#yaas), spring rolls (#springy), and tempura vegetables (#5aday). For our meals, we picked the Orange Bean Curd (tofu) meal, which was surprisingly not super sweet, but just right and the Sweat & Sour Chicken, which was good, especially the sauce, which wasn't watery (#goodthickness). When we were walking to our vehicle, our sever ran to us to drop off our forgotten eyeglasses, which means the servers care about you here, unlike some other bamboo-eating-animal-icon Asian restaurant. The food was pretty good. I felt the kung pao chicken was too salty and it was almost sour which was a strange flavor for this dish but it was still fine. The sweet and sour soup was decent. They give you water in mason cups, which I loved, cause I'm a southern girl deep down. My friends liked their sushi. The prices were good and they quickly got your food out to you. This Is a big thing in my book so good job to them for that! On to the decor.. the place was quiet and beautifully decorated. Even the bathroom was beautiful. The sinks had black smooth rocks inside. We arrived maybe 3 minutes before it was open and they seemed annoyed that we came in early (even though the door was unlocked) and acted annoyed the rest of the time.
