I am from Brooklyn, NY and my husband and I were in Livermore, CA for a wedding this past weekend. we had an urge for pizza and found Gino's, not knowing what to expect. So I try this place to see how their cannoli, stromboli,and calzone are. Now let me tell you I from New York so I still on the hunt for all 3 of these foods. The all cheese calzone was almost New York style. The stromboli is definitely different with a touch of mustard in it. This must be a west coast thing because place in San Jose did the same thing. Next time minus the mustard. The cannoli is a sweet filling with a hard shell and powder sugar on it. It was tasteful. This place is a hidden spot so look for the sign on the street or drive right by it. This must be a new trend with the restaurants now to just pick up a take home or have grubhub pick it up. This not first restaurant I been to that does this. Starbird in San Francisco does the same thing. I be back to try pizza next with that red sauce they gave for the dipping sauce. read more

Dino's Pizza Kitchen knocked it out of the park with our meal today. This is the most amazing pizza I have ever had! If you are looking for delicious, authentic pizza that is sure to please, pay them a visit. We had garlic knots, the Combo pizza and cannolis. The crust was cooked to perfection and the toppings were both fresh and abundant. (If you had seen how our children we devouring their meal, you would swear that we hadn't fed them in days. They even ate all of the crust--first time ever.) I love that the staff is personable and the restaurant owner values his customers, serves them with excellence and welcomes feedback--a rare characteristic these days. There was a hiccup in our first order, which is easily forgiveable given that just opened here in Livermore and they are new to online ordering/delivery. The owner reached out to me, took responsibility, apologized and was quick to make things right. (Word of advice: Pick up your order from them if possible rather than rely on a third-party delivery service). I think Dino's Pizza Kitchen will become the #1 pizza joint in Livermore, as I've had nothing comparable here nor in the surrounding areas. read more

SOOOOOOOOO GOOD ! Ok so this spot was funny to find. My husband, daughter and I where at the Livermore outlets and wanted to grab food before going home but not at the outlets so we googled spot near us. My daughter LOVES pizza so we saw Dino's pizza and thought lets give it a try. Headed out that way and we where a little confused because the address takes you to a spot that looks like large office buildings/headquarters. We thought we where looking for a restaurant. We found the spot got off the car and went to the door. There was a doorbell to ring. Again we where very confused. The guy who opened the door informed us that their is no restaurant its carry out only you call order and pick up, no wonder! We didnt read the information correctly BUT he was so nice to us and let us order right there and we waited no more than 15 minutes for our pizza. Ended out finding out he was Dino ! He gave us our order with a free cannoli to try OMG it was delicious. ORDER THE CANNOLIS TRUST ME ! I've never been a fan but this one was really really good I didn't want to share with my husband! The pizza was really good a little smaller than we thought so definately order 2 if you are the type to eat more than a slice or two. I loved the thin crust it just tasted fresh and warm the cheese melted perfectly it was simply an AMAZING bite! This place will be my go to pizza spot when im in that area. Holy moly the garlic knots are a show stopper!! Had Dino's for the first time today and let me tell you, they will not disappoint! The dough was toasty on the outside, warm, gooey and doughy on the inside. Absolute perfection and everything you could want in a bread knot. The Godfather pizza was also equally as good. Crust was delicious and flavorful - the kind of crust that you want to eat just as much as the toppings and cheese. First visit, ordered the New York New York; forget about it, the crust crispy outside yet doughy goodness inside. They use only good ingredients and not the cheap stuff and it shows. Found this place by accident on yelp. I'm always looking for a good calzone and I found it . I usually go to colosseum NY Pizza in Milpitas for one and not knowing that it's dino from colosseum pizza. Didn't know it was him. I should have known by the name of the place . It's located in a business park kind of hard to find but I did and glad it's there. They're making pizzas and more out here. You'll really enjoy any item that you order from the menu. We were a little taken aback when we arrived at an office building. We rang the bell and Dino greeted us promptly. It turns out that they are utilizing a shared kitchen with a number of businesses, while working on finding a restaurant front. We got the Hawaiian NY crust and garlic knots as a quick bite. Dino made both fresh to order and they did not disappoint. There was something about the bread that was just so fresh and crisp. The cheese and sauce were also delicious. Since there is no dine space, we ate everything up in the car and enjoyed every last bite. If we are in the area more often, we would definitely make it a point to stop by and get takeout! Fabulous pizza! Absolutely delicious! I consider myself a pizza snob and this dude really knows how to make a PIZZA! The Sicilian margarherita is my favorite.
