Tried dealing with 2 third-world customer service reps. These people are absolute idiots. Cannot figure out a simple problem. Unless it is on a computer screen right in front of them, they are lost. In the end, I was so angry, I told them I was going to cancel my contracts for 4 tv systems and go to Comcast. I am going to give it one more try, and if I get service reps that are idiots like the first two, I will probably throw the TVs out the window .!!! read more

The worst customer service on the planet. I had an appointment yesterday for them to show up between 12-4pm. The guy shows up at 3:45 and then tells me he can't give me what I am ordering because his boss told him he has other customers to see in the 12-4 window. I have to make another appointment and they were suppose to show up again between 12-4pm the guy was a no show and no call. I called the call center at 4:30 and they said the tech pushed my appointment window to 4-8pm, so no call and no show and it is now 7:55pm and still no call and a no show. I have been trying to reach the call center to find out where the hell this guy is and I have been on hold for 65 min. They suck! Don't let the nice guys at Costco suck you in. read more

No surprise that they are also getting a one star from me, I would give them a zero star if I could. They obviously do not care about their customer service or values as they would take these reviews more seriously and pride themselves on trying to make their company better and their services. My personal experience comes from seven years of being a dish customer all of while having to call and ask why my bill will go up periodically for no reason. When we moved we transferred all of our services through Dish to the new house they attempted to charge us for new equipment that we said we did not need but they then said oh we will give it to you for free since you have been a customer for so long. We then realized we were paying twice as much is all of our neighbors who have wave broadband so we got quotes on pricing and went with that company, when I called to terminate services they said that by them giving us new equipment I verbally excepted a new two-year contract and now I am Expected to pay $460 to stop services with them when they have no record of my signature agreeing to any new contract. They are a joke and do not work with you and literally read off of a script for any complication or conflict you have while offering nothing to you. read more

2 years ago I wanted the Hallmark channel and found out It wasn't part of my package so contacted Dish to have it added. We had the Hallmark channel for 2 years when last week all of sudden we were cut off. My husband called and was told they were realigning their stations and something got messed up, but they would have it restored soon. We waited four days and nothing, so he called again, and this time was told we could order it for an additional fee. He explained we have been paying for it for 2 years and now it's gone. He was told for more money they would add it to our package. They ignored him as far as he was already paying for it and said they would give it to us for 3 months free now. I emailed corporate and all they say is they can change their pricing and packaging at any time. They are a complete rip off. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You cannot pay for channels and then have them removed without notice, and asked to pay more money. read more

I am so terribly disappointed with the lack of service I have received from dish network today. I have had their service for over a year and have had to call monthly as they accidentally switched us to e-mail billing rather than paper. Every day time I phoned them I requested again to receive paper bills in the mail as we rarely e-mail. Every month since April we have been charged late fees. All previous calls were handled with some customer service as they acknowledged the error and waived late fees. Today I phoned three times, twice I was told that the wait was too long and it disconnected. The third time we were speaking with a manager in Englewood Colorado and again got disconnected after a twenty five minute wait. Of course, he did not call back. Call 4, another 30 minutes, this time with Jarrett (UY5). We explained the situation and our frustration. He proceeded to tell me that because he could not see my previous calls that I had never called with an issue. I went on to explain that I have called many times about this and also many calls over the $100.00 gift card I was to receive for switching to their service to begin with. Bottom line, after much time wasted I became so frustrated I asked to please discontinue our service. He then told me they were not going to waive any late fees, I would not be getting my promised gift card of $100.00 and they changed my credit card an additional $183.00 for an early termination of my contract. Honestly, I understand that I am breathing the contact due to horrible service but seriously, I have never felt less appreciated as a customer. My cable was shut off immediately and he said that dish network would not assist us in this matter. I explained that we are both disabled and this was an unnecessary charge. Bottom line is they charged late fees due to their own error, no apologies. I asked Jarrett many times to speak with someone else, only to be told he was it. I am sorry to not be writing a good review as that is what I would prefer. I will never use them again and have made it my mission to inform anyone who asks about the lack of care from dish network. read more

Today August 20th I was suppose to receive service the technician was suppose to be here between 12:00 and 17:00 hours. I waited and received a automated phone message that the technician would between 13:00 and 14:45 hours so I waited. Then I received another automated message telling me that the technician would be here between 15:45 and 17:00. At 17:45 I called there office and they told me that the technician arrived at my gate at 13:45 hours. I asked then why did I receive at message telling me that the technician was going to be at my house between 15:45 and 17:00? They had nothing but bull sh@t answers Dish may not be the best provider due to the disregard of the true. They should have told me they forgot or got busy rather than be dishonest. Judge for yourself how you would rate them in this matter. read more

Don't get DISH. Their services are horrible. Dish has recently broke our contract by removing some of the channels from our package without notice. When I called to cancel I did not expect for an cancellation fee since the contract was already broken by them and I am not receiving the services that were promised. The lady in the Office of the president said that they do not guarantee all the channels that are agreed on during phone calls or any conversations with their employees. So basically whatever you signed for doesn't really matter because they can change and removed your channels, fees, etc. at any time and without notice. read more

I've been trying for the past 2 days to get someone to help me. I bought a house that has DISH's satellite equipment installed on my roof from a previous owner. I tried finding resources on their website with no luck, tried doing their chat and after getting the run around on that was told I had to call customer service. I called customer service and their menu only gives you 2 options, if you are a current customer or if you want to become one. Since I'm not one, I picked #2. When the rep answered and found out what I wanted they said they would transfer me to customer service. Which put me back into the same menu loop. So, I tried option 1 but required that I put in my account # that I don't have. Tried again under option 2 and same thing happened before I could tell them not to transfer me. So, I tried again and told them not to transfer me. The rep said she had to but would stay on the line with me to make sure I got help, then I got hung up on. So, I tried again today, the customer service rep told me not to hang up that he would be right back, put me on hold for over 12 minutes, then hung up on me. So, I tried sending them a message through their website and, contacting them through Facebook. Nothing has worked. They obviously don't care about the people in their communities or inconveniencing people their equipment. They sent me message on Facebook to contact them privately saying this is not the type of service they want people to get, but I believe it is! Otherwise, one of these times someone would have actually helped me. read more
