I've been automatically charged every month for service that I have not used at all. The rep I spoke with told me that he would discuss with the owner and get back to me. A couple weeks later I made a follow up call because no one answered my inquiry. The owner himself confirmed that there had not been any data usage since one week after installation. I asked again to have the service placed on hold and requested a retroactive credit. The owner "checked" his phone records and could not find my initial call to them. My response was that I did not remember what phone I called him from. I then asked if he would extend a courtesy credit for an amount he deemed appropriate. What surprised me is that the owner himself was not willing to give me even one months credit. What's worse, is that he never got back to me. A small gesture would have gone a long way. A classic case of being penny wise and pound foolish. With this attitude, a company like Starlink will eventually put them out of business. I will pay a premium for good service and be loyal to a company that demonstrates appreciation for my business. I also will not think twice to change carriers, if the service I'm getting is mediocre.
