Worst customer service ever. We were moving and wanted to schedule cancellation of our service in 3 weeks when we were actually moving out. After being transferred 4 times, we finally got a rep who said they could help us. When we explained our situation, he said "no problem" but proceeded to offer us numerous discounts to convince us to keep our service. This we didn't blame him for because he was just doing his job. However, after we politely declined his offers each time and even complimented him on being a good sales rep of Dish, abruptly the phone went dead. At first we just thought the call dropped. Come to find the rep hung up on us and immediately cancelled our service. So after 45 minutes on the phone with their inept customer service, being polite and patient with them and being excellent customers for 20 years, this is how they treated us. We have Spectrum now, and customer service is night and day compared to Dish. read more

We are sr citizens. I've had kidney cancer my husband has renal failure and bleeding internally. We had to cancel service after over 15 years of paying extremely high prices. Ask if the "EARLY TERMINATION FEE" COULD BE WAVED. NOPE, NO WAY. And to top it off they want the $500+ all at once. This teenager that this company ask to make big decisions like helping Sr. Citizens. Everyone should cancel services with this "company". This teenager ask fir all our medical records and a letter from every doctor we have seen. Drs. Charge $75 per letter. It takes their time to compile. read more

Dish came out to install our security system. He did not leave any paperwork or any contact phone number if we had problems. He installed 2 sensors incorrectly & we had to fix them ourselves. NO SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Losers! read more

The worst customer service ever. First off when you eventually get a person, they do not speak English well and only read off a script. I attempted to have a Dish on a poll removed. The first person, at Dish, said I would have to have their local representative remove it and it was at no charge. They gave me an 866-area code number. The lady that answered at the 866 number said it was a $125 fee to disconnect the dish and they would not remove it. I called Dish back and went through three respondents. All were just reading off their script. The third just put me on hold until the call ended (she undoubtedly hung up). Now I have a Dish cemented into the ground that I must remove and dispose of myself. read more

I got on their chat line to try & order Dbacks games this season & they sold me an extra innings packages for $150. 1st game of the season I'm blacked out. turns out this package doesn't include local teams. I called before game time but they were closed, so called the next morning and after 1 game of a 162 game season, after selling me the wrong package when I specifically asked for Dbacks games.. and they refuse to refund anything. so I will change carriers and I will not pay the bill & I will fight the credit companies for the next 7 years.. all because it looked like I'd save a few bucks with Dish. I thought I'd dealt with crappy service people before but Dish is miles worse than anything I've run into. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT read more

What a rip off and scam. The new scammers of dish TV had asked us if we now wanted to include Netflix for FREE. We'll we used dish, so we said yes of course free is always good. Well dish the scammers never told us that not all movies were now free threw Netflix because you now have adds and not all there movies are add free. So now we have to upgrade and pay even more money but hold on there's even more. Yes that's right, you also have to pay even more money if you want to watch on a remote Joey's. Now without out anymore trying to find out what more i have to pay and now lost of the rip off scammers I am canceling the scammers. Now how much money are they getting. And no way ever will I use the scammers, starlink. That's a rip off joke as well. Time to read a book before that's taken away too. read more

Called for price reduction after being a customer for over 10 years. I was told if I take a 2 year contract I would pay $73 total a month. So I agreed. Next month after paying the $73 my invoice went up to $97. When I called to correct I was told that was the price. They tried to double talk they way out but would not move on the price. This is just one reason why they're loosing customers and going down Hill. read more

I have never had such a bad review for a cable company like the one for Dish TV. The same shows over and over and over and over again. Horrible non English speaking customer reps. Tried to cancel service after 12 years and was told I have to pay a bill of $154 and they would deduct it. My service has been suspended since last Nov. We are moving to an area without Dish. I haven't had service in 9 month yet they are going to deduct the bill from my account. Horrible reps. All they did was argue with me. Did not try to assist me. Dish raised the cost for my service by $50 . I couldn't afford this on a fixed income. Called they offered a $25 discount with a two year contract. I had the service disconnected. They sent me a shipping box with label . The instructions said what was needed to be returned. I was told the joyie box was disposable . I Then wondered why they were changing rent on this item for all the years I had it! I returned the equipment and then they sent me a bill for the shipping of there equipment back. THEY JUST HAVE TO GET EVERY DOLLAR THEY CAN OUT OF YOU! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!! read more

Absolutely horrible, my apartment complex is contracted with dish fiber, every few months something magical goes out leaving everyone without Internet for 2-4 weeks, when contacting customer support they never have a estimated repair time, they don't even know what's going on, and they can't answer any questions, then I top they still charge me Internet service fees when I haven't even been able to use the Internet for 28 days out of the month, they refuse to issue any credit or refunds, it's absolutely terrible and just maybe one day they will go out of business for such a shite of a business. read more

If we could give Dish Network a zero star, we would! We were faithful customers of Dish in Phoenix for like 9 years. We moved to Dewey where would could not have Dish any longer so we called & cancelled out our service the end of this April. When we got to our new property, we received a bill which we thought was a final bill which we promptly paid. Then the next month we received ANOTHER bill. We went "whoa" what is this since we already paid what we thought was our final bill. We called up Dish only to find out that the bill that we were good citizens for & paid was actually what they called a "reinstatement" bill so we then had service again (at an address where we could not have service nor did we have the equipment any longer as they told us to just "throw it away"). So what part of the world where a person says "we no longer need service & please cancel out our service" and then send us a BILL, does this silly sh*t make any kind of sense?? After several hours on the phone with various representatives, they are telling us that we actually have a balance due...REALLY...and exactly how does THIS happen? In a corrupt company would be OUR guess. Never, ever under any circumstances get Dish Network service. They stink to high heaven. read more
