I take all my cars to him from time to time and recently I took it because my uncle's shop was too busy and I only need a quick Oil change to leave out of town well the next day it started leaking the oil out so I returned my vehicle to him and he said that it was my radiator mind you it wasn't having no issues of leaking what so over and he lied I brought it to my uncles shop and it's not my radiator he had broken and stripped my drain plug and he was going to charge 650 to fix a non ISSUE LIAR VEN IS A LIAR AND I WILL GO SAY IT TO YOUR FACE ONCE I GET TIME He doesn't even know how to do oil changes to an Audi he's supposed to extract from the top instead of the bottom drain drug essentially because it's a German car omg he's such an awful person for that read more

I come here all the time for my oil changes and it's very cheap I always bring my own engine oil and I get charged no more than $40 when the oil changers right down the street were charging me $120. The only downside I would say is that it's always busy you have to call beforehand to ensure they have time and people but that's anywhere. read more

This place is trash and will take advantage of you. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. My dad failed his smog test on his 1997 Toyota Tacoma at a different smog shop. It passed the function and emission test but failed the visual inspection at this other shop. Him not knowing any better took his truck to this shop in hopes of a different opinion since it failed the visual inspection at the first shop and the visual inspection is opinion based. What my dad didn't know was that once you fail a smog test, it is inputed into a databases where other shops will know when and why your vehicle failed. He took his car here and the technician, Johnson Nguyen, worked him up for another smog test knowing he had previously failed at a different shop minuets before. Johnson was notified immediately upon entering in my dads vehicle information into the computer and saw an opportunity to take advantage of an elderly customer knowing his truck just failed a smog for visual inspection. read more

Shady. Took in my car for smog. Guy charges me, hands me the paperwork and says nothing. 30 days later, no sticker. I call DMV, they said I didn't pass. I look at the paperwork. They stapled paper over the result. Turns out I didn't pass pre-check. So they didn't check pre-check beforehand, didn't tell me I failed, and stapled paper over the result to hide it. read more

I was super skeptical, but all was well. Got a quote made apt to drop it off and took only 2 days to get it back. Short version issue: -Needed a new engine replace, head gasket was blown, it was unrepairable. -Great warranty for it too, you also get a receipt from him and another receipt for the engine. The engine receipt is 30 days warranty but Dennis extend his warranty on the engine for another 6months. Great deal. - I wanted to be sure all was well and I took it to the dealership to make sure everything was correctly put in and all went well. Fantastically done correctly. Long version issue. (Below issues was not at this shop) My car Toyota Prius 2012 I bought the car 87,000 mileage 2019 Rack up mileage at 220,000 mileage 2021 (commuting to work 100miles each way) #1 issue with car diagnostic code read P301& 304 - was told needed tune up (new spark plugs and wire etc paid 700$) (regular car shop) - engine lights came back on with the same code and knocking noise 3 month later. They Kept the car for 4 days and can't really tell me what's going on with it and just quote me for new used engine for 5grand. -I needed a 2nd opinion; I took it to the dealer and told them my situation above and charge me the regular diagnostic + pressure test etc came out 400-500$ and just To tell me that I will need a new used engine as above. I brought our company van and pick-up truck to DK for engine repair. Paul, the owner, was very helpful, took care of me personally. We had the truck checked by another shop who recommended that the transmission be changed. When Paul diagnosed it, he advised me that it only needed a part changed, which cost 1/3 of a transmission replacement. I also bring all our family cars to him for smog check and they service my vehicle almost immediately. I highly recommend DK and have referred this shop to my other friends. I took my car into DK recently for an oil change. Service was quick, reliable, and affordable. The owner was nice enough to inform me of a leak I had in my engine and since my car was still under warranty, he recommended I take it back to the dealer to look at. I did just that and discovered that this leak would've cost thousands to fix if I kept driving and my engine blew. When it comes to cars I know very little so I'm extremely happy at how honest and reputable this shop is. Recommend! read more

I hope this is the right place. I went there actually by mistake to get a smog check for my 1998 Chrysler so I could retire it. The man that helped us was super helpful. The car didn't pass smog but I knew that was going to happen and it's fine because I was trying to retire it anyways. Because I went to the wrong place I had a coupon from yelp and when the guy told me I was at the wrong shop, he gave me the discount anyways. He also gave me the application for the retirement and gave me instructions for what to send in. Super helpful and I would come here again. read more

I've been going to this place for about 10 years, since they were on pearl when they only did smogs I'd say he's done maybe 20 smogs for me over the years as we have 5 smoggable vehicles. Recently I took in my RV to get done and it had a couple of mechanical issues which were unrelated which they fixed for a better than fair price. Some other places are cheaper. Some are prettier. It's unlikely I'll ever go anywhere else. The service here is exceptional. read more
