I was really looking forward to trying out this restaurant. It was ok overall, but not mind blowing. I'd personally expect some more refinement with service and food given the price point. The good: Beautiful decor, lots of menu items to choose from, great location, large portions and decently tasting food (we had the dragon burger and street tacos with chicken). What could be better: Tacos were spicy, which wasn't mentioned on the menu or by the server, and for people who don't eat spicy food that would be an unpleasant surprise. The servers that night all seemed to be overwhelmed and tired, the energy felt low. I'd have preferred a bit more welcoming and cheerful attitude. So at the end of the day, for a restaurant that's priced above average in the area, it's an average value and I hope to see improvements next time. read more

Really bad experience. Burgers were so greasy that the bun fell apart, and the sweet potato fries ordered were limp and felt undercooked. In fact someone with my party received fries that had 2 mixed in that were completely raw, not sure if they were thrown in the basket after the rest came out of the fryer or what. I went here again for the second time and decided I needed to write a review. We came here for our wedding anniversary. I found an offer on the InKind app. for $25 off my first order using the app. This restaurant is located within the Fashion Mall. The ambiance is very nice. Service was quick and very polite. I asked for recommendations and our server recommended a bowl. We also needed to reach a certain threshold for using the InKind app so we treated ourselves to some dessert. This place is a little pricey, but if you're looking for some nice ambiance and want a sit down restaurant inside the Fashion Mall, this is the place to be. read more

We stumbled across this restaurant during a trip to Keystone Mall, and the decision to eat there was better than any of my shopping choices! We were blown away by the quality of food and excellent service. I was feeling basic so went with their grilled chicken salad. It was executed well, with moist perfectly-flavored chicken breast. The black bean sauce that accompanied the salad took it over the top, and the cilantro dressing tasted fresh and homemade. Of course I sneaked a bite of my husband's fish sandwich - wowsa! Flaky, moist, and with a crunchy exterior crust. The service was at the level of a fine steakhouse - ready for a refill and the floor manager checking our experience. This is an updated review since I've been back, and I still give them 5 stars. The food was super good! I had heard how good the fried chicken is, so this time I had it with sweet potato fries. I have a hard time with this score. Here is the good. The place is nice. The servers are nice. The menu is extensive. Food was pretty good. Here is the bad. The prices. I got 2 blue moons on tap. A quac appetizer for the table and street tacos entree. With tip, just me was $75. That is crazy!!! I don't care how scratch kitchen you are, that is crazy pricing. The guacamole appetizer was good and enough to share. It's chunky which I liked. It had corn in it. That was weird. Never had corn in guacamole. The street tacos were good and my side was the buffalo potatoes. Which were good as well. Spicy but not too much. Others in my party got the chicken parm, he loved it. It's big enough for 2 meals. And some e got the short rib, which he said was very good. So we all liked the food. It's an open space so it can be loud. The servers are very attentive and good looking. That's a side note but honestly all the servers were good looking. The issue is the prices. I would probably opt for another option over eating here again. First time here and my and my wife enjoyed ourselves. The ambiance was nice. We requested a booth but I didn't understand with so many empty booths, why we had to be seated next to a full booth of very loud patrons and also sitting close to the kitchen where there is a lot of activity. In the area we were sitting, we were close to where all the servers went in and out of the kitchen and the hallway by the restrooms and by mall access. It just made it seem like there was so much going on and people walking by. I was a little caught off guard while we were eating. While we were in mid conversation and enjoying dinner a lady walked up and leaned on the table and asked us how the food was and other questions. Eventually my wife asked if she worked there and she said she was a manager but without identifying herself or without a name tag, I had no idea who she was. This place had a really great ambience. Staff was unfortunately a bit less than friendly and there was water dripping from the ceiling right next to us, but we still had a decent time. We got the ahi tuna salad, which was good, and the Beale burger, which was solid. The chicken nuggets were also really good and made with tender and moist chicken. I've dined here 3 times in the last year. Twice for dinner and most recently for lunch with a friend. Ambiance is cool, but it is very dark inside. Especially in the middle of the day. Staff is friendly and service is great. I had the salmon bowl with both sauces on the side the first two times. It's good, but nothing super interesting flavor wise. For lunch I had the ahi tuna salad. It was good, but the tuna was so so. It is a very diverse menu and good for groups. However, this time, I dined with my family at a table, and the service felt a bit slower compared to the attentiveness at the bar. The food is consistently good--my favorite dish is the chicken kabobs with feta cucumber salad. The restrooms are clean, and the ambiance is casual. I love Doc B's. I come here often for lunch or for a quick bite before or after shopping. The hostesses are always welcoming and it's always very clean and calm. They have TV's as well if you want to catch a game. The Buffalo Chicken Salad is my absolute favorite. The warm cornbread croutons and roasted garlic dressing are a game changer. My other faves are the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Littles for a quick bite. On this visit, I had an espresso martini. I would rate it 8/10. I will typically get the Lemon Drop or their signature drink Slightly Spicy Mezcalita. If you are ever at Fashion Mall or in the Keystone area I highly recommend stopping here. read more

Amazing restaurant with great service! Our waiter Tatum was a true GEM! We enjoyed prompt and professional service on recommended dishes and drinks that were delicious. The restaurant is in the mall and has to entryways; from the street or through the mall. There is plenty of parking and lots of things to do before or after visiting the restaurant. They have great daily specials: Monday - All Day Happy Hour Tuesday - $5 Off Tequila Wednesday - 1/2 Off Bottles of Wine Thursday- $5 Martinis Friday - $10 Sangrias Saturday/Sunday - $8 Bloody Mary's and Mimosas The ambiance is really nice and spacious. We came here for a reunion lunch and unfortunately I think they were short staffed. When we arrived the place was fairly empty considering it was a Saturday afternoon, yet we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We were told we had to sit in the closed in patio space because the inside had reservations already, ironically the restaurant never filled so maybe they all canceled...... The menu decent, it's American style food and I think burgers are more of their thing. We ordered some kale and artichoke dip for the table and while the dip was just ok the chips were fantastic! They were light, crisp and airy and melted in your mouth! Our waitress was pretty good as well, I think she was a little overwhelmed with tables though. It took quite a bit of time for our order to actually come to our table but we did notice it took everyone awhile to get their food. Everyone at my table ordered burgers accept me, I had what I thought was a crispy Cajun chicken, but I think it turned into a decorated dry crispy chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. Thank goodness I ordered a side of mayo when I placed my order. For my side I got the jalapeño crispy potatoes and they are not what you think they are. They are cut up and mashed down, but they come in a thick crispy pancake style. I wasn't the biggest fan but the sauce on top was fantastic! If there had been more instead of just the little bit on top, I probably would've ate all the potatoes. The crispy chicken was crispy but I didn't care for the consistency of the chicken. It reminded me of a chicken breast that had been pounded thin to mash so you felt like you were eating a crispy chicken nugget sandwich. A side you might want to stay away from are the sweet potato fries, unless you like your sweet potato fries in the steak cut style. They were too thick and you definitely missed the crispiness of a fry. They came out really cute in this criss cross design but my friend and I felt they needed less time on the cute design and more time on frying them so they're crispy and not just thick. This was a last-minute stop-in. Hubby decided that this was where we were going tonight. Interestingly, Google took us to the wrong side of the shopping mall, so make sure you know it is on the Nordstrom's side! We walked in, not full, but not dead that night. We were asked if we had reservations, we noted we did not but would like a high-top if one was available. We were seated at a high-top. We were seated quickly, and we took fast drink orders! My hubby always orders vodka on the rocks with a splash of dirt. Mind you, not a martini! So he is always looking to see if they make it right and does explicitly not state martini ever. He noticed that the bartender was making it in a martini glass and was waiting for it to come over, so he resigned to drink it as made. But our waitress was terrific, noticed the error, and had them fix it before it made it to the table! WONDERFUL SERVICE! The bartender knows how to make a wonderful old-fashioned as well! Dinner was the knife and fork cobb salad with some fantastic Gold Coast vinaigrette! Wowzer, I loved the salad as it was chopped with egg, avocado, bacon, and then the fried chicken to the side! The restaurant is beautiful on the inside with plenty of seating and a large bar. There is outside seating with fans and TVs, perfect for the summer weather. Not to mention it was not hot and I waited forever to get it. My cousin's grabbed the brisket nachos. They were okay, but I truly thought the brisket pieces were beans based off of looks. My god sister purchased the green veggie burger. I tried it and it was very tasty. No aftertaste, the texture was perfect and the toasted bun made the sandwich a hit! The ambience is great. Even though it's in a mall- there is an outside entrance and doesn't feel attached. The worst part of the whole experience is parking. It is awful! We started with the lettuce wraps. Holy wow! The peanut sauce is great! The 4 lettuce cups were perfect for the size of the appetizer. Delicious and definitely would get again! For entrees we got the buffalo chicken salad and the Number 6 chicken sandwich with the crispy jalapeño potatoes. For dessert we had the cinnamon toast cheesecake (worth the trip in itself!) Restrooms were spotless. Located in the hallway toward the mall (no signage for that). The only odd thing was the server asking us to keep the used silverware when he took the plate (that it was sitting on- so we had to sit the silverware on the table.) The burgers we tried here were great!! Service was good too. They have a patio that was set to open that night. We were slightly disappointed it wasn't open yet. It was deceiving as they had employees out there on their break. The inside was cute and the music was good. I couldn't decide between several menu items so can't wait to go back and try other items. There is plenty of mall parking as you can enter from the outside. The burger with the egg on it didn't specify but there was tomato and lettuce on it. **need to know for allergies. Wanting to try a new place we gave Doc Bs a try. Made reservations on Open table. We started with Chicken Littles and Fries. Basically big chicken nuggets and fries. The bbq sauce was weird. Couldn't quite get what was over powering in it. Honey Mustard was pretty good. To me the fries and chicken tasted just like O'Charlies. They were both really good. Very juicy not dried out. I got the Shredded Brusselsprouts salad. It was so big. Took part of it home. I'm sure it's loaded with fiber. Added a piece of grilled salmon. It was typical salmon nothing special. Husband got Handcut Caesar salad with crispy chicken. He loved the croutons. We both got dessert to go. Tres Leches Cake and Chocolate cake. Both good not great. For entrees my husband had crispy chicken sandwich-the panko breading makes for a light and airy breading. The coleslaw is a nice touch too. The side we chose was the jalapeños potatoes-very good. My husband would eat the sandwich again. The girls had macaroni and cheese which was subpar. The first bite was delicious but they didn't order any additional protein on it so it be a too fatty and cheesy with each bite. If you're ordering as a meal, make sure you add the protein. The nachos felt like an after thought. Pickled onions and pickled jalapeños seemed to overpower the dish while there wasn't much meat on the nachos. There wasn't a lot of cheese on the nachos which should be an essential item with chips in my opinion! If you are a true nacho fan, I would skip these. Would we make a trip to eat here again? Maybe. Nice place attached to the mall! Solid 4 for this spot. I've been twice now (once apps and drinks and once for lunch). Burrata was delicious. I liked the grilled artichokes but didn't love love - only issue was they were juuuust undercooked so the heart was a little harder than I'm used to. Might have just been an off night, the flavors were reallyyy tasty. Fried chicken sandwich was good but not a "WOW THATS AMAZING" item for me. I got the slaw on the side instead of on it (just in case I didn't like it) but it was tasty! Side of Buffalo Style Potatoes were interesting! Fortunately we snagged a table outside on a pleasant Sunday evening. Our waiter Sam explained that all dishes were made in house daily to order. No microwaves, heat lamps, etc. I had the short ribs in a yummy sweet soy and ginger sauce, served with crispy smashed jalapeño potatoes and it was so delicious. My friends had a generous portion of chicken parm with rigatoni (enough to take some home) and the buttermilk fried chicken with house made coleslaw.
