A pretty cool Dog Haus! Located across from Warner Bros Studios on Olive Avenue and the corner of Kenwood Street this cool modern meets rustic New American style eatery is one of the best in the collection with a wide range of hot dogs and burgers in various forms, including sliders. They have loads of vegetarian options and just about any of them can be made vegan. Their default bread/buns are the King Hawaiian rolls which are vegetarian, made with rich sugar, butter and eggs. I don't eat at D.H. locations often so I sometimes forget O.o Came in with my boyfriend before a screening at Warner Bros ironically enough and we had a nice pre-movie meal. Their Beyond Brat and SoCal Veggie (hold the aioli for me) are my go-tos for sure, but definitely thinking about an Haus Burger next time as they have impossible. From classic dogs, burgers, tenders, wings, nuggets and sandwiches to plant-based and easily modifiable options D.H. has a good variety. All items are individual so if you want more of a meal you'll have to purchase more. What I didn't know is that the Burbank location actually is priced more reasonable than their neighboring locations in North Hollywood, Northridge, Dog Haus Biergarten in the more northern part of Burbank on the cusp of Sun Valley and Larchmont/Hollywood. I would assume being a chain all the prices are relatively the same, but they actually have the best deals by a couple dollars to cents. I haven't had their impossible nuggets or tenders at this location but will absolutely be tending to those for next time. Everything is well made, the service is excellent, and the entire layout feels inviting. They have gender neutral restrooms, all very clean. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Canned or bottles beverages to grab, not to mention classic fountain style soda/soft drink/tea/lemonade dispenser. You can enjoy music and the latest on goings on their flat screen in the main dining area. There's free Wi-Fi, beer & wine available + their pup friendly, which is always a win in my book. It's somewhat limited seating, but a variety of it from higher tables to lower sit down style. Definitely a fan of this fast casual style chain and location, but do wish they have some dairy and egg free bread/roll nom-options. They have no gluten free bun options as well, so maybe a vegan friendly gluten free option would be the way to go in the future ;) You can get a lettuce wrapped burger, sandwich, sausage or dog and I highly recommend it for their burgers, pretty interesting with their links. Additional they serve breakfast in the forms of burritos, so it might be possible to do it this way as well (with a tortilla). Parking lot is easy, though not very big, and even when full there's street/residential parking close by. We got one of the very first spots, which is a swell way to get off to a great start at this German inspired all American Haus of eats.

I stopped by this Dog Haus last night because I placed an online order thinking it was for the other Dog Haua location near Burbank Airport. I ordered the Dog Haus Cheeseburger with Hawaiian rolls and fries. When I went to the location on Hollywood Way, they told me that I likely placed the other at the Olive location because they couldn't find the order. They said it happens a lot because of the way the website is. I called this location first to see if I can cancel my order since it was still easly but they said they don't do online order refund here. So I drove there because they were about to close in 1 hour. I arrived 10 minutes before they close and parked on the street. This location has its own private parking lot if you come during the day and it's not busyl. The staff were very nice and had my food ready. The place is medium size inside and they have outdoor seating as well. The cheeseburger was good and I thought the fries were alright.

We ordered to-go from the self serve kiosk the other night so I can't say too much about the service but the food was AMAZING. 10/10 will be back it was so good. Literally drooling just thinking about it. Food didn't take too long after we ordered and the place wasn't too crowded at 7pm, plenty of tables and chairs and spots at the bar.

My husband was craving Dog Haus again and wanted to give their breakfast burritos a try. We returned to this location since we were running some errands in Burbank. We chose the Fonz and Cajun BABBs with Onion Rings to share. We were pleasantly surprised at how substantial they were. The 3 sunny side up eggs in each one made each bite deliciously saucy. My husband really enjoyed the spicy sausage in his. The combination of the pastrami and sausage in mine was so flavorful. The onion rings were perfect. Excellent service from when we walked in, to order delivery to our table. Clean and bright atmosphere. Parking was easy.

Had a great experience today! Nicole was more than helpful and so nice. We had the InKind special deal so we went to town. Ordered more than enough food, and paid half the price. It was so good. I love this spot, and we will be back now with the InKind special 20% off now even more. Thanks again Nicole. Everything was great!

The food here was quite good. I was sad that we only had time to eat there once as they also had breakfast items I'd have liked to sample, but we flew out the next day. Great food, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out. You can see more of our experience on our YouTube travel channel: https://youtu.be/qRwT3LpBV8Y

Another visit and another Great Experience. Great Food as always. Service always on point and Great Vibes.

Took a buddy (and his dog) to the Dog Haus location in Burbank and we went all in--two "Ringers" with extra beef patties, a side of tots, a big ol' can of PBR for him, and an iced tea for me. Gotta say, the food was on point. Burgers were juicy, flavorful, and leaned on the sweeter side thanks to the King's Hawaiian rolls. Tots were crispy and satisfying--perfect sidekick to the main event. Only downside? The bill. Just under $50 for two people makes this more of a treat-yourself kind of visit than a regular go-to. Still, the vibe is chill, the dog-friendly patio is a plus, and the food definitely delivers. I'd recommend it--but maybe not on a tight budget.

This place is so good it should come with a warning. I stopped by on a random afternoon and left in a full-on food coma (no regrets). I also tried one of their hot dogs because apparently that's what they're famous for, and wow... 10/10. You can tell everything is fresh and actually made with care, none of that weird processed stuff. Also major shoutout to their breakfast burritos (SO good) and the fact that they have plant-based options, so everyone in the group is happy. The vibe is chill, kind of the perfect hangout spot, good for catching a game or just eating your weight in comfort food. Already planning my next visit. Someone stop me. Or don't.

My friend and I tried this place out after a tour day at WB. It was just what we needed after a long day of walking and touring. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. The server was very sweet and helped us decide what to get. The names for the food are pretty funny, my friend got the "Mutha Clucka" chicken sandwich. The food was prepared in a timely manner and everything was delicious. The items we got were so big we could have easily shared a meal. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and my burger was juicy and flavorful. My friend let me have a bite of her chili fries and those were good too. We were very happy with everything from Dog Haus, we will come back for sure.

Super good food. Fast casual dinning. Order at the front and pick a seat. The hot chick was amazing. The fonz had lots of cheese and pastrami on top. The Hawaiian roll as buns gave it a sweet chewy flavor instead of a normal hamburger bun

Motha clucka chicken sandwich with chili fries. Absolutely delicious

Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

Their Monday night karaoke was going on simultaneously and the sound didn't interfere with our screening at all. We had about 30 attendees and the room was a very comfortable size for us, it's also beautiful! The entire experience was fantastic, we're very happy with how the evening turned out! - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

The staff was there to keep drinks flowing and keep food coming. The portion for their poke nachos was unreal. Do i wish they put a bit more poke on the dish? Yes. But it was still one of my favorite dishes of the night. The drinks were all so cute and they had ample non alcoholic mocktails as well which were yummy. If you want a speakeasy feel (you lieterally go through a secret door in the wall) and an under the sea eperience while ctching up with friends, you can totally do it here. For my friends birthday they rang some bell and all sang happy birthday to her which was so cool. Why was the bathroom the coolest part? They literally have ocean sounds and seaguls for you to hear while using the restroom. Theres even a fan in the bathroom to make you feel like you're next to the ocean because I kept fighting that darn toilet seat cover to stay put. Such a fun night and will be back for the vibes.
