This dog Haus is in a very unassuming location which is across Warner brothers office along olive. It's a stand alone structure far away from any other restaurants. It's either a good thing or bad thing whichever way you look at it. I actually like it due to easy parking within their parking lot and street parking as well. Lots of inside and outside seating. It's good to have some fancy hotdogs every now and then whenever I feel like getting an upgrade from Costco hotdogs. I have pretty much tried all the different types of hotdogs here. They use King's Hawaiian Rolls for the buns and the sweetness complements the rest of the dog perfectly. Had to microwave it. It's a wet pile of garbage. They put an offensive amount of ketchup and mustard on it so it was like a wet porridge of kings Hawaiian. They are closed now so I can't call or get anyone to fix this. This is the worst burger I've had in LA. Also they didn't ask us what bun we wanted so we got stuck with kings Hawaiian by default. Fries and tots were both cold and unremarkable. It really sucks when you pay and get a bad meal. Does not resemble the quality in the other pictures on here. It pains me to take one star away because we had such a perfect visit. My friend loves this place. So much so, he talks about it all the time. We had to be in the area for an errand so we made it a point to drop in for dinner. My whole day was hyped for this meal. I got the Pineapple Express with onion rings and a beer. I forget what kind of beer, but it was the draft they had available. Kudos for having a varied selection. Let me start off with the onion ring. When I tell you every bite was perfect! My god. You know how there are onion rings where you barely get a taste of an onion and the batter can be a bit soggy? Well not here. I swear I looked at the onion after every bite and said mmmmmm. Even the color was perfect. The hot dog was amazing. I savored every bite for sure. The only reason I took one star away is because of the lack of pineapple on my dog. Another person in my party also had the same order and hers was also missing pineapple. We played a little game of who can find actual pineapple. I counted roughly 3 bites that had pineapple bits in it. I take umbrage that this dog was called Pineapple Express when it barely had pineapple. It's a damn shame since everything else about the visit was great. Almost perfect. The service was amazing. Every single person who helped us were so nice. When I got home, I pulled out my chili fries and the whole thing fell apart out the side thats wide open. However, the food was amazing! Best chili dog and chili cheese fries.
