I don't know where to start. For a long time I avoided Domino's because they changed things up and the food just wasn't right. But in recent years, they changed things up yet again and hit a home run! Whatever they did, simply worked. Combine that with the large amount of deals they have every day and top it off with an amazing mobile app that makes ordering even easier, and you get an award winning pizzeria! This location in particular really stands out. The staff is professional. The delivery drivers are punctual. The overall experience is just perfect. I order from them at least 3 times a month. they used to be located on gooding Ave, so after we ordered our pizza we drove to gooding Ave because they still had a picture on their website of the old location. After finding out they had moved and driving to the new location, I suggested that they put a picture of their new location on their website and the manager argued with me. This Domino's moved to 655 Metacom Ave and has completely and utterly gone down hill. I placed an order a little after 6pm and when I got to the restaurant they handed me a pizza that was not even close to what I ordered. This is the second time this has happened in my last three orders from there. I checked it before I left since they have messed up my order in the past. The manager didn't give two craps about the error. I was standing in the restaurant for about 15 to 20 minutes because they didn't have my pizza done. They made the pizza, couldn't find it after it was done, and when they did it still wasn't what I ordered. So nuts to me. While I was standing in the restaurant they had made errors of some sort on three other customers that had come in and didn't deliver a pizza to a customer's car outside. On top of all of this...NO ONE was wearing gloves. On top of that, the man boxing the pizzas had long hair that wasn't pulled back and had run his hands through it then went back to boxing. The lady standing next to me who was waiting for them to fix an error that occurred with her, said to me; check your pizza for hair. Needless to say, Dominos is not an option for me to eat any longer. So gross and the complete lack of care (not even an apology offered) is it for me. read more

Unreal experience. First of all. I have only ever considered Dominoes as a good, fast, local, creative, fast food, pizza joint that is innovated but pretty much plain in food quality and taste. I like to find the local hot spot for top notch pizza. Not true any longer. Although Dominoes is a large chai with standard offerings, it's also pretty darn good pizza. I'll be back. However, that being said, this review is about their process, their app, and well engineered production of a high quality pie and customers being kept up to the minute via the apps notifications tracker. I've been a bristol resident for some time now. We order from dominos quite a bit when there's no time to cook. However the food isn't consistent. Some days it's ok. Some days it's horrible and we don't eat it. We have complained before and errors were corrected but it happens more than one would like. Went to the one in somerset once and now the bar has been set so high that the Bristol location just will no do anymore. read more

Everything is great about dominos. Great pizza, great sandwiches, great desserts. Theres just one problem, and thats the app itself. Be prepared to reset your password 9/10 times you try to log in. The worst part is the customer service. Nothing the store can do and I tried calling corporate multiple times only to get sent to an automative voice message that eventually hangs up. Life is tough when you have a free pizza that you literally can not order. :( read more

We buy from this location almost once a week. But I'm getting tired of spending money for sub par food. Last week we ordered a pizza and we were lucky if there was A slice of pepperoni on A slice of pizza. Charged for toppings that were barely there. My husband was so upset, the pizza landed in the garbage. This week, against my wishes, we ordered again. Not wanting pizza, I ordered myself a chicken parm sandwich. I ordered a few pies online. I needed to call and ask the Dominoes a question; the man proceeded to put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and when he answered the phone, I simply told him I had a question and didn't need anything else. He then told me, "Well sorry I'm going to have to" and then did so without letting me get another word in. After being on hold for an even longer period of time, he picked up again and I said I would like to talk to the manager. He then put me on hold AGAIN for 7 more minutes and then the manager finally picked up. The manager was very rude as well. All I wanted to tell him was how I did not appreciate being put on hold for that long and numerous times. The manager did not care one bit and was not concerned for my well-being or satisfaction of the customer. He basically said, "What do you want?" I was not happy AT ALL with this service and won't be ordering from them again. read more

I ordered Dominos for dinner tonight. I haven't had time to cook all week, so I've been eating out all week and trying to eat at a different place for every meal. I've never really been a huge fan of Dominos, as I've always found independent pizza shops serve better pizza. I ordered online, which is great because I only have a cell phone and you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting a cell phone signal in Bristol. The online ordering process went very smoothly. I wish more places that delivered would offer such a system. Plus they have this cool "pizza tracker" application that tells you what's going on with your order (in the oven, on its way, etc). The only downside for this application - at least it's a downside for Dominos - is that you can see when your order left the store. My order left the store at 10:55 and wasn't delivered until 11:40. Add in the time that it took to prep/cook the pizza, we're looking at almost an hour from the time I order until the time that it is delivered. Now I'm not saying that an hour is bad, but compared to some of the better pizza places in Bristol (Classic, Pizza Wave) that is almost twice the wait. The delivery time aside, my biggest complaint is that they charge a delivery fee. I can understand if I live extremely far from the restaurant, but what pizza place actually charges a delivery fee? According to dominos, that fee doesn't go to the driver; it goes to the company, so you're still supposed to tip. So not only are you paying the delivery driver for his work (which he/she well deserves), but you're also paying Dominos for the privilege. Doesn't make much sense, particularly when you look around at other places and see that no other restaurant in the area charges a delivery fee. As for the pizza, it's basically what you would expect from Domino's; it isn't bad, it isn't good. It's food. That's about the nicest way to put it. Though they have improved the crust and sauce over recent years, the improvements really don't make it competitive. The poor food quality and delivery fee make this place 2 stars. Take out the delivery fee and this place would probably be 2.5 stars (okay 3, but only because Yelp doesn't allow half stars). read more

This place is absolutely amazing I have never had such great food in all my life. After twenty four years of living in the basement of an old fort in the English countryside I have needed a meal like this. It has been nothing but moldy beets and occasionally a cold broth; when the owners of the fort remembered I was down there. Honestly it wasn't that bad once the gagging subsided and the desperation for food drove me to devour as much as I could. Anyway back to Dominos, they are so friendly and helpful. They didn't ask me any annoying questions about why I had come up from their basement or why I looked like I hadn't showered in years. After I told them I wanted a pizza they quickly got to making it and in less than two hours I had gone through seven large pies and then some. It would have been nice if they had more of that soda pop on hand; I drank all of it without even realizing I hadn't set any aside to drink with my food. All things considered I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to eat after years of imprisonment and months of running from the shady group that wants to use your connections for nefarious purposes. Usually I get great service from this location. I work at a restaurant and get out late at night and dominos, being the only place open late, is always available. My pizzas always arrive within a reasonable time, and usually right. The delivery drivers are always so sweet and last night I spoke on the phone with the most energetic and friendly person ever. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because tonight I called and the man who answered the phone was nothing but rude and short with me. Just because you don't want to answer the phone doesn't mean the customer should have to deal with your bad mood! He was not helpful, he wasn't listening and he was so incredibly rude. Although it was late, the restaurant was not closed. NO need for rudeness! Get some new help! read more
