The store claims to be open during hours it isn't. This has caused me wasted driving trips. The pizza is average and the service sucks

I've ordered many times from this location. I usually pickup because it's so close. I order the same thing almost every time. My order is always ready when I arrive. Service was fast, 2 Large 3 topping pizza was made as ordered for $30 with a 5 dollar tip.. When I asked our delivery guy for Parmesan and peppers he advised I have to order that when I made my order because too many people were taking advantage of the peppers and Parmesan cheese.. Really? On September 27, 2019 from 11:36 to 11:59 pm I tried calling to order pizzas 7 times. 3 times immediately placed on hold for excessively long amounts of time causing me to hang up and try again thinking I was forgotten about. 4 times my calls were not answered at all. Giving up after the seventh call, I was never even able to place an order. I used exact dates and time frames in hope that the manager reviews this and addresses the issue with the guy answering the phone that night. read more

Ordered delivery, order was messed up. The manager tonight was quite rude. We had two options : pay extra for 2 toppings that we didn't order or wait an hour for them to re-make their error... This was a Tuesday night. I get this isn't a 5 star establishment i suppose that I set my standards too high in regards to businesses caring and fixing the situation. My advice should you choose to order from them: pray that they get your order correct or have a backup plan. read more

My second time buying pizza from this place and again deep dish pizza not cooked all the way, dough was so under cooked and they totally skimmed on toppings .... again will never go back here for food, spend your pizza cash elsewhere! I have Frequently use this location for pizza parties for the special needs class at the local high school and ordered over the phone. Today they said they could not give me the the 7.99 price they have previously done unless I ordered online even though they had just given that price two weeks earlier??? Made the order online and then had to call back to ensure I could pick up the pizza in one hour. They called back again to confirm and said the 10 pizzas would be ready at the stated time. I show up and the pizzas weren't ready took an extra 15 minutes. I explained to them over the phone and In person how this was for a special need class and the pizza had to be at the school at a certain time. They told me they were busy. These guys are awesome. Even though I'm not able to tip every time I order, they're always super nice, always make great pizza, and delivery is relatively quick. I think the longest I've had to wait was ~25 minutes. Domino's might be a huge chain, but it really says a lot when Thanh comes up to my door and says, "hey man! Good to see you, it's been a while." The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, it was not good. I ordered 2 pizzas and some BBQ chicken. The chicken was undercooked and rubbery, and the sauce was just globbed in a lump on the top, not cooked into the meat. Nobody wanted to eat it. The pizza crust tasted like it was made out of the cardboard box it came in. It was dry, with very little cheese, and they were very skimpy on the toppings. I've been a Dominos fan for years, but this is the first time I've ordered from the Dana Point store. Maybe they were just busy because it was a Friday night, but we were really disappointed. This is the worst I've ever been treated within a business. My girlfriend ordered while we were watching football and asked for the 2 medium, 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each after we saw the commercial on TV. She got off the phone and said the lady didn't tell her the total. I said that wasn't cool but didn't think anything about it. Delivery guy comes to the door and charged us $23+ for the pizza, wasn't very nice about it, and eventually tries to say the manager would work with us. When I called, I realized this woman has no definition of the words, "customer service". I tried to tell her that she didn't tell us the total and she went off accusing me of calling her a liar. Although the word "liar" never came out of my mouth, I told her that we live close and we wanted to continue business. She said she would do nothing and was so set off on the fact that she though that I called her a "liar". I realized I wouldn't get any money back, credit towards pizza, or to be able to buy Domino's from this location ever again. By the way, this location's pizza is way too saucy. P.S. This is my first (hopefully last) negative review on ANYTHING and its not my style to be pessimistic. -Jacob read more

This dominoes is the best dominies I've ever been too. It does not taste the same as other franchises. That is because the people work here do an amazing job every day. Absolutely the worst pizza. Ordered pizza and what I thought was buffalo chicken wings but it was buffalo chicken kickers. We ordered online and thought the kickers were "buffalo chicken wings" but it was like chicken tenders but disgusting. All of the food arrived cold. I tried to talk with the manager Ohn or Ahn? to see if they would credit back my card for the supposedly chicken wings since the food was cold and she screams at me, saying, "Tough you ordered it." I ask for her boss and she says okay, he'll call me. Yeah right....Just plain rude and obnoxious people working there and the food really sucks. Worst pizza ever and don't ever order the kickers. Wanted to have a pizza but didn't want to try a local because you never know what you will get so I decided to get our pizzas at Domino's in Dana Point. That was the worst decision on my vacation. The pizza had little or no taste and the crust was terrible. I paid $17.25 for two large pizzas under a promotion. They were so bad that I threw both of them in the dumpster after only one piece. When I called to complain the "manager", a young woman, told me I would have to return them for a refund. I had already thrown them away so it was a lesson learned. She said that since they were the only store run by the franchise holder that I wouldn't have to worry about coming back? I told her she was right. read more

Last night I ordered a pizza from Dominos because google said they were open till 12 so i ordered my pizza at 10:58pm more then enough time to order a pizza. at 11:45pm I called them to confirm my order was still coming because they were about to close and I was worried. I live in dana point, not to far from the restaurant. Enrique the night manager called his employee and I heard their whole conversation the driver was lost because the free way was closed and he said he was driving now. When Enrique came back on the line he asked me what I wanted to do. I said "I understand the freeway is closed but isn't there side streets your driver could take, my pizza is going to be cold." so he kept asking me what I wanted to do and he got pissed that I mentioned a cold pizza so he told me to come to the store and wait 40 more minutes for my pizza. I asked him where his driver was and he said he was on hold because he wanted me to tell him what to do. "Deliver my pizza" and he responded no because it was going to be cold like I said so if I want to wait 40 minutes and come down to the store hell make a new pizza. He kept telling me he was not going to give me my pizza. So heres what I have to say to you Domino's and who ever owns it. First of all you need to train your employees how to solve problems instead of being rude to customers and threatening them. Also while you're at it, can you require all your employees to use GPS? I delivered pizzas and I never got lost. I would have accepted an apology or some type of condolence. I did not tell caltrans to shut down the free way and make your driver late, so i don't get how I lost out on my dinner for the night. I will never eat at domino's again and honestly I encourage others to do the same. I have never been treated so rude and nasty in my life. Enrique the night manager needs training to be a better manager. If you are upset about your life or your job you don't take it out on the customer. I asked what your name was that doesn't mean I was going to complain but you don't threaten someone to come down to the store. You could of just given me a coupon. I work in customer service I would get fired if I treated someone like that. Perhaps the company needs to reconsider who they let represent them. read more
