Ok Donna's today is your day. Ive been on my way here for a while and the wife and i made it today. Let me preface this by sayin that we were goin to pick up a few donuts and then go grab some food....have the donuts for later. Hell no that didnt happen!!we placed our order, sat down and went to town!! Btw they are not pre made.......dropped in hot grease in front of your eyes. These hot pieces of delishesness are made to order and topped with whatever they have or whatever combination you can come up with. Anyway they are the BOMB!! When I entered Donna's Delicious Dozen, I didn't know what to expect, other than it was a new donut place and I was excited to try it out. When I came in, I saw it was one of those donut places that allows you to customize your donuts and bakes them fresh, like Duck Donuts. Trying not to judge from that angle, my friend and I ordered a half dozen of a mix of specialty donuts that they had on the menu. When we got our donuts, we were gob-smacked by the amount of topping they had put on the donuts. Usually in a custom place, they can easily skimp on this, but they had pretty much ensured that each bite was going to be a mouthful. Adding the fact that all of these donuts were fresh (and some of the chip pieces melting too from the head) and had fresh glaze and toppings, they were an exceptional group of donuts we picked. I would highly suggest anyone try these out over Duck Donuts and help support this local chain. read more

Like everyone says everything really is made hot and fresh to order! The donuts definitely taste homemade and perfect in flavor. Perfect location in Gahanna/New Albany since there are no local donut shops besides the chain spots. The interior is simple and open with plenty of seating for you with friends, a date or family. You can customize the fresh cake donut however you want or go off the suggested items on the right of the menu. Choose up to 3 toppings! We loved it and plan to come back soon! read more

My husband and I waited months for this place to finally open, and opening week, as soon as we saw the flags on Hamilton Rd were up, we immediately made a stop! The inside was spacious, cute, and clean, but it wasn't really like I anticipated. It was super quiet, lots of customers sitting silently waiting for their orders, and a few employees chatting while they were working. They definitely could have used some music to liven up the place. I also didn't realize they made each donut for every order. I assumed they had some pre-made. So once I ordered it was about a 10-15 min wait for them to be ready. It wasn't bad, but it's just like if you place a to-go order from a restaurant. If you're just planning on popping in and out like I originally had, this might not be the best choice for you. I wasn't really blown away by the menu. Nothing sounded super amazing to me, but we were already here and I was already inside, so I ordered a few different flavors for us to try- the raspberry beret, fruity pebbles, peanut butter cup, and chocolate Oreo. We split a raspberry beret first and were incredibly surprised at how tasty the glaze was. We liked this flavor a lot, but if I could have changed one thing it would have been to lose the chocolate crumbles on top. I also tried a few bites of the fruity pebble, but didn't like it as much as the raspberry. I'm gonna be honest, I got really sick after eating these. They just didn't agree with me. My husband, however, ate them all over the next 2 days with no issue. So I'm gonna just assume they didn't agree with ME, not that there's anything wrong with the donuts themselves. I probably won't go here again, partly because they made me sick and no longer sound appealing, and partly because these just weren't the style of donuts. (I'm more of a cream filled type of person.) It was fun to try these though, and if you like this type of donut then definitely give this place a try! My husband really liked them and he would eat them again! read more

I'm honestly kind of glad this place is far away from me The donuts were amazing, and the toppings were absolutely delicious. They had a seasonal thing with apple butter that I shared with a friend, and we both took a bite and sighed happily The service was super friendly and the coffee is really good. I'd be here once a week if I lived closer. read more

OMGOSH!!! Talk about melt in your mouth deliciousness!!! Of course I just left the gym 4 doors down, my kids are with me and they insisted, no twisting my arm lol I heard the 1 woman (I believe the owner) working the counter say they just opened when we walked in so they weren't busy but seemed to have a steady stream of customers. We were able to have 1 on 1 with her. She was helpful explained we could pick out special donuts listed or make our own and choose icing, topping, glaze, and/or drizzle. The donuts are warm light cake donuts none of that dense commercialized stuff. This is an independent business no chains!! The kids loved this idea and had some great picks Kid 1 - lemon glazed sprinkled with coconut- thumbs up Kid 2 - raspberry glaze, white chocolate chips with raspberry drizzle - Amazing Mom - just a chocolate dip (warm icing + warm donut= complete insane ness in my mouth) Of course we traded and tried one another's. Pretty good donuts. Lots of creative options or create your own available. I'm boring so all I wanted was 2 maple glazed donuts and Donna's delivered exactly that. Was able to get in and out pretty quickly. Take some to-go or grab a table and eat them there. There is drip coffee you can get, no decaf though. read more

Omg! I love this place. Order online. On the weekends it takes about 15-20m for pickup but it's so worth it. They're warm, the fruit is fresh, and the frosting is so good. I found this place because of a Yelp elite event and I highly recommend. The donuts are $1.50 so how can you go wrong. I love Duck Donuts and this is my new favorite place. How are they better you ask? I can't tell you but I can tell you they are so do it! I got a key lime and a strawberry cheesecake. read more

Warning Delicious donuts if you dare! Step one foot into this bakery and take a deep sniff and smell the waffling scent of freshly baked donuts. I ordered online from their website in advance yesterday for pick up this morning. You can choose a pick up time, pay and they have texted me when the order is ready. Both times I ordered they texted me right before pick up and I appreciated the reminder because I get side tracked easily and would forget I ordered donuts. Lets get back to the real business at hand, the actual donuts and the reason why I come. They are cake donuts that are small but mighty. Around 3 bites and it disappears and my blood sugar instantly tells me it wants more. The flavor combos are unique and special. They do have Gluten Free options for those whom have dietary preferences or allergies. Our family favorite is the Honey Blue. A cake donut topped with a blueberry streusel and a honey glaze. We could probably order 12 of those alone. This place is becoming a local fan fair. read more

Wow! So impressed with this new (June 2019) donut shop off of North Hamilton Rd! Went in today (9/29) at 830am, wasn't busy and able to get in and out. The store is super clean and all 3 employees were great!! Thought their prices were very, very reasonable! Donuts were fresh and delicious and the coffee was good! They have donut happy hour from 3 to 6pm on I think Mondays and Tuesdays which is an incredible deal. Will definitely go back!!! read more

I drove 30 minutes on a Sunday morning to finally try this place after hearing a friend rave about them. I was told I couldn't get 8 donuts but they would give me a few unless I wanted to wait a awhile. I ordered a few of the ones on the menu. I was not impressed with the customer service and the donuts were ok, I think peace love and donuts are better personally. I guess this place is set up for online orders or you get what you get. read more

I've been excited to try this place since it popped up on hot and new. The location sits in a retail strip. It is very clean and new inside. They have a few tables to sit at. The menu is posted on the wall. I think that the price is very reasonable for what you get. They drop donuts fresh for your order. So your donuts will always be warm. I ordered an assortment and told them to make anything they wanted. They have speciality donuts or you can add anything you want to them. We ate them about an hour after I got them and they were still warm. The donut itself was just dense enough. They are more on the cakey side. The toppings are hit or miss. Some of the flavors taste like plain glaze instead of the flavor they are supposed to be. I was hoping for more robust flavors to come through. Some are more distinct then others. I would pick bold flavors if you want it to stand out. Regardless of that, they were still delicious. And I would come back again. read more

My boys' favorite donut shop. Always delicious and well made. Lots of flavors to choose from and the option to create your own flavor by picking numerous toppings. I LOVE Donna's! My sister demands that we go here every time she visits. You really cannot go wrong.. I've never had an incorrect order, and the donuts are nice and warm if you pick them up on time. I was a little skeptical at first! I am now a fan! The place is super cute and quaint! Upon entering, I was greeted and asked if I had been here. I had not and was given the rundown. They have a wall of suggestions and a step by step process to create your own. Slightly overwhelmed for my first visit, I went with a few of the suggested creations. They were prepared in front of me and number called when ready. All of the toppings and actual donuts were fresh and melted in my mouth. Sometimes old fashion donuts can be dry but these were deliciously moist and satisfying. I understand lattes are made with milk but I prefer a balanced flavor of espresso in my lattes which I find typical at other coffee shops. My assumption is that the Biscoff flavor comes from the cookie butter on the walls of the cup. In order to taste Biscoff, you have to scrape the butter off the sides. Not what I was looking for. App & Pre-Orders: I was impressed with their app and ability to preorder. The app is very nice but according to the employee at the register - if you buy coffee beans or other merchandise, you cannot get points in the app. Not a deal breaker but would be nice if this was made possible. Interior Decor: I was impressed with the interior of this coffee shop. I thought it was bright, crisp and minimalistic. Loved the wall decor and lighting. I would not describe the space as cozy like other coffee shops but being different is good! Overall, I plan to give this place another try to taste the coffee in its true basic form - straight black coffee/espresso. I would also like to try the food options!

So glad I did Today's visit was everything that the first visit was not today's visit had welcoming staff that were really pleasant to talk to really good croissants and they made a latte that was quite good The only thing that would've been better is if they actually had soy milk as an alternative milk source... However, they had oat milk and almond milk neither which I will drink so I used whole milk For some reason, the café seemed more balanced aesthetics wise. It seem to work better. I just enjoyed every bit of my visit. Sometimes stuff makes a gigantic difference. I think the upper cup coffee that is definitely the case. They have a good staff now.

I still decided to utilize their walk up window simply because I had a car full of dogs and I didn't want them to miss me. The window is pretty easy. It does have an awning, but it doesn't really work very well when it's raining cause it's a little narrow and width. However, the barista prioritized me standing in the rain and quickly took my order I told her I was gonna go back and wait in the car because I had a car full of dogs. When my coffee was ready, she noticed that I was getting attention to my dogs and she decided to hand-deliver my coffee to my car. It's a little things like that that make a difference to somebody's day. Whoever does a hiring at this location has a talent for picking the best people. That has been my prior experiences - except when it was a pit stop en route to my mom's house in Cleveland - where I'd work there for a couple hours after driving most of the way up prior to dawn. Anyways, for some unknown reason, I was simply obsessed with the Lavender Oatmilk Matcha Latte drink. I think it was the colorful photos I saw. I'm a purple girl who is also into health - so the green and purple were my jam. SPOILER - the drink was green - no sign of purple. I did my research and found the caloric intake in consuming one acceptable - unlike some of the other Starbucks fru-fru abominations. The times I do drink a Starbucks drink - it's a black decaf pour-over. So it was go big or go home. Extra big Lavender Oatmilk Matcha Latte for me. Around 300 calories and $6.75. Fortunately, I had a gift card someone had given my husband - someone who didn't know he was strictly a Mountain Dew guy. I put in my order and no wait in line. It was mid-afternoon and I figured I'd be quickly served. It blows my mind the drive through lines I see wrapped around Starbucks at all times of the day! Anyways, the gift card covered the cost of my drink and I found a spot to wait. About 5 minutes later, my drink was ready. I got it and headed out the door. I had finished running errands and would enjoy on the way home. It had a definite lavender and matcha taste. No question about it. The cream added a sweetness that was critical to my liking it - more of this later. I did find that I only took a couple sips on the way home. After getting home, I had yard work to do and this puppy lasted the entire time. Those were some hard core ice cubes that refused to melt. I was determined to drink every last drip - ice meltings and all. Overall, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Definitely a love/hate thing I'm guessing. You either enjoy these tastes or not. I decided I liked them. As a result, I Googled how to make one and went about securing the ingredients. Matcha latte powder - available at Kroger. Lavender syrup - lavender in the spice section at Kroger and was able to make with Stevia I had on hand. And then I bought sugar free cool whip to add some creaminess. And bonus - I bought myself a frother (also at Kroger). I don't know if it tastes exactly the same - but I'm find it drinks the same as the original. I make one in the mid-afternoon rather than eating a snack - and it lasts the rest of my workday. I recommend you give it a try if it sounds like your jam - then figure out how to make at home to save on $$. I figure mine cost about $2 for the same size - the only real costs were Matcha latte powder ($1 a serving) and the lavender spice ($3 and it will go about 8 or so servings and the syrup is only good for up to 2 weeks in the fridge once made). Probably all TMI but worth writing about.

So I'm bummed out they don't have the drop off for Jordan's crossing here anymore (they had it for…read moreyears, so not sure why it's gone now). But at least they do the "Adopt a family for Christmas" event. This is definitely one of the busiest Starbucks locations I've been in, and that was the case when I was a regular here. The table beside us was very disrespectful because the young man was a little drunk and the young ladies that he were sitting with kept yelling at him and telling him to calm down and told him he was doing too much so it kinda was like overbearing for us we just wanted to leave because he was talking very loud. He was talking very aggressive. He was just obnoxious and I could tell the waiter was getting annoyed as well. We paid for our food and left.
